Well on an unrelated topic. Apparently the Pokemon Fan magazine just released but there's no preview of future episodes? I'm not sure if it used to give us spoilers in the past...

If there was going to be new information, we would have already have a poster by now.

Especially after Ash won the World Tournament, which happens to right before the SV games came out.

And the SV starter mini segments honestly doesn't help. Heck, it may point to the idea that the Pokémon anime is going on hiatus because promoting starters at the end of the episode with JN animation rather than being at the forefront implies they don't have anything ready for SV anime at all.

Especially since if 135 isn’t the end of journeys then there hiding something big for the last arc.

I wanted to defend that because it's somewhat of a holiday month, but they could've released the next one early February then... Tsk, I guess we will find out in next episode or the 135.

Looking at release dates, there always seems to be a 2-3 month gap between Pokemon Fan releases:

Issue 78: April 28
Issue 79: July 15
Issue 80: September 30
Issue 81: November 30

Something worth noting is that just because “Pokémon Journeys” isn’t ending doesn’t technically mean that Ash or Goh are staying. The series is simply called “Pokémon” in Japan and not Pokémon Journeys. This doesn’t exclude Paldea or the SV anime happening.


Considering both of their goals have been pretty much handled and yet the series is going on, it’s not surprising if they leave but that’s that’s a hit or miss.

To be fair, if platinum never happened, gen 4 games would have the same or worse reputation as xy. No games needed a buffed third version than xy.

Sure, they could do it justice. They could also remove some of the darker stuff from the games, like they did to Lusamine in SM.

The games did that first with USUM.

Lusamine’s first anime appearance was before USUM’s release date, so no. Also, the games didn’t lighten her to the extent that the anime did.

USUM Lusamine was just a mess tbh. Like, she's supposed to be saner, but there's still the evil smirk after Nihilego, as well as her collection

yeah but this'd be if instead of buggy being eventually followed up by crocodile, there was a redone version of east blue where buggy's supposed to be more of a good guy but still keeps bombing towns, but somehow all he did was to defeat crocodile himself

tldr: USUM's plot is a mess where it felt they tried to do a new story but kinda just squeezed it into SM's without any care

Lusamine for the part kept her same personality. She just was arrogant this time with different intent and thought she could do it all with challenging Necrozma. Just like her arrogance thinking that being with Nihilego would somehow please her and thought that her dreams and capabilities overshadowed her own children.

It's the last day of November already, and still no info at all about December 16th and December 23th episodes. Very bad. I still think that December 9th episode (episode 135 of Journeys) is the last one for this series.
