Thats right, the winner of Coro Coro's contest was announced, and all they did was create an attack and it is confirmed what that aattack is

It's a Dragon Type Move called Meteoric Swarm with the Power of 140 & Accuracy of 90%. When used, the user's Special Attack falls two places

It's essentially a Dragon type Overheat/PsychoBoost

Maybe Kingdra finally gets a decent Dragon Type move? Cool!

Interesting. We know of one new move, which is a new version of an old move and is as of yet unnamed. lol, they should call it Dragonfury or something.

It seems a trifle lackluster considering that Dragon-type attacks are meh in general, and I don't expect it being very compatible with many Pokemon. Ah well, at least it's a development nevertheless...

Yes, but Kingdra gets HP Dragon if it's lucky. At least Dragon Attacks get to be neutral to darn near everything...

True, it'll probably be well-suited for the no-movepool Kingdra, but then again I don't know if Kingdra can endure the loss in Special Attack.

I apologize but I just can't see this move being terribly useful; Flamethrower would always be more useful on a physical sweeping Dragon and special-sweeping Dragon movesets won't be able to take the loss in Special Attack for it to be viable.

But of course, this is just one move out of many so there's little about which I should be worried, right? 8D

I regret to inform you that the bulk of this information was available four months ago; from the beginning of the contest the new move was said to be equivalent to Psycho Boost and Overheat. This month's CoroCoro merely added the Japanese name of the move as decided by the winner.

They'll probably invent another move for Kingdra anyway. Ah well, I'm expecting some really cool move effects etc. in D/P. And don't worry yet, worry when the number of Water Pokemon is discovered to be above 200...

If this isn't the definition of "anticlimactic", I don't know WHAT is. :)

Meh well, I'm bored out of my brains, so any information, no matter how anti-climactic, is good I guess. This gives slight hope to Kingdra=also good.

Oh well, E3 is only a month away, and we probably will get more info then.
Doubtful. When has a Pokemon game ever been unveiled in the U.S.? ;/

Gamefreak typically doesn't give out information about their games at American expositions.

Also, I'd really like to know who suggested such a mediocre move...I was hoping for, like, Crunch as a TM. But alas, we get this. >:[

But you must remember, kids like dragons, kids like strong moves, and kids don't care about draw backs like special attack loss. And when we combine it all, we get this pointless move.

Alas, I'm all the too aware of that. :(

...On a more positive note, I'm betting this move will look pretty awesome in action. Hmm...perhaps a huge accumulation of swirling, pinkish-red flames will surround the user, who will then channel these flames into an intense beam of imminent destruction aimed point-blank at the target, and assuming it hits, the illusion of some melting could be given to the target Pokemon in the move animation as it becomes engulfed in lively, agonizing flames. Oh, the possibilites. ;D

Or, it will resemble Dragon Rage. I thought that some kid would have designed it - the Dragon typing and the sheer power are all too telling, why don't they let other DECENT ideas be created? Well, here's hoping that Nintendo have read our minds or the attack ideas thread...

That's what I understood. And even knowing the name holds no significance for us, since it'll just be translated however by NoA anyways, though in this situation they might strive to keep it the equivalent, or hold a contest here as well.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, this doesn't really build upon my knowledge of Diamond/Pearl... it actually frustrates me more than anything. Sure, I'm all for being patient, but I'm really thirsty for some decent information about these games.
