I'm currently in Celadon City about to face Erika. Now I've been looking at other teams, and I've seen A LOT of Gengars. Should I add one to my team? Or any other pokemon for that matter? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you are keeping hydro cannon, replace feraligatr's surf with waterfall. And don't teach bad hms to main team pokemon. Replace Scizor's hm moves with swordsdance and bullet punch. Other than that, it's a great team.

You have a small quake edge weakness. Rock-2/6 and ground-3/6 which totals to 5/6
I don't think that it's that big a deal but you should wach out a bit. I do think that gengar would be a good idea for this team.

You could use another special sweeper, although not necessarily Gengar.
