Whoa, you have a really unique style. =O (Out of those of us here, anyway.) Your sketchs look like a proffesional's roughs. You've got such a neat style of shading too... And it all looks very realistic.

I very much like the pic of Merry. We still don't get to see her face though. Is that on purpose?

Ah, Gary and Ash do not look like Gary and Ash... o___O;;; Ash's eyes creep me out. Gary's pose is pretty cool though. Like his clothes. And the foreshortening on Ash's hand is good. The hand itself is drawn very well.

Wow, it's rare to see art like yours around here. *nods* Very interesting. The pics of Merry will probably help with the visuals when reading your fic, though I think I'll choose to come up with my own images when it comes to Ash and Gary. o_O; *shakes head* They're all drawn very well though. ^^; I just can't picture the two of them looking like that.

Thanks for the info. Hmm, I reckon Gary is relatively close to the sketch in my mind, but you're right about Ash. I guess that's the drawback of illustrating fics - readers might not see it the way you do. But thanks for actually commenting.

It's an old pic, so you can't see his shirtlessness and in the newer design he loses the spiders and cards and gets a slightly better physique (^^) and marginally longer hair. But apart from that, it's bout right.

If you full view it, you'll see a pointed tooth slipping out from his mouth. That was his halloween costume.

Merry: You came as a clown? -.-;

Claudius: No! What are you talking about? *Points to fang* I'm here as a Houndoom!

Merry: And you're still dressed as you because...?

Claudius: Because I look so stylish like this. No reason to sacrifice style just because it's halloween. ^^

Aw, Claudius looks very cute. (^.^) I like his tall, slim figure. Great detail on the clothing, especially the hat. I really love his hairstyle. ~<3

Now for some critisicm. The positioning of his left leg is awkward. Because the chest is facing forward, the lower body should follow in the same direction, but you have the legs at an angle. It makes the body appear twisted and unnatural.

Other than that though, a very excellent sketch with wonderful detail. (^.^) I like it a lot.

Well, how about that- a brilliant author and a brilliant artist, too... Hm. Crazy world we all live in. ^_^; I'll say it once: I can't review art for the life of me, so I'll make this about as general as possible. Your style resembles your writing: simple, peaceful, yet full of a nuanced.... thing that makes you interested and gives you the want to know more. The picture of Merry is the best example- a rather normal figure in an active pose, yet without a visable face... it conveys so many thoughts, yet you know so much from it. Hm. Thanks for that, I needed a brain workout! ^_^ Piney, you never cease to amaze me. Now to get caught up with COUNT... two chapters behind... *grumbles at new fic project*
