Super Status Condition

Infatuate
Type-Normal/Status
Acc-100
PP-10
Effect-This move inflicts the Attract condition on anyone, regardless of the gender of the user or target
Pokemon that can learn this-Any Pokemon associated with hearts, Salazzle, Pheromosa, Gardevoir and Gallade, Machamp, Lopunny

Badly Burned: Basically badly poisoned, only with the burn status hurting their attack. Fire type Pokemon using fire moves have a chance of inflicting it, compared to non-Fire type Pokemon only having fire moves inflict normal Burn

Badly Paralyzed: Paralysis that affects the user 50% of the time

Badly Confused: Confusion where the user hurts themselves with their dominant attacking stat, with 50 attack

Glass type

Super-effective on:

  • Electric
  • Fire
  • Ice
  • Flying
  • Water
  • Fairy
Neutral on:

  • Normal
  • Bug
  • Grass
  • Ground
  • Dark
  • Psychic
  • Ghost
  • Poison
  • Dragon
Weak to:

  • Rock
  • Fighting
  • Steel
Examples of Glass-type moves:

  • Glass Shield - Protects the user for one turn against physical moves, or until it is broken by Brick Break, etc.
  • Glass Shard - The user throws shards of broken glass at the opponent. Can cause flinching.
  • Glass Horn - The user stabs the opponent with a horn made of glass.
'Shielding' and 'mirroring' moves like Barrier, Mirror Move, Mirror Coat, Light Screen and Reflect become Glass type. Brick Break deals double damage to Glass types and will also break Glass Shield as well as Reflect and Light Screen.

Oil type

Super-effective on:

  • Flying
  • Water
  • Grass
  • Bug
  • Steel
  • Fairy
Neutral on:

  • Electric
  • Dragon
  • Ghost
  • Poison
  • Psychic
  • Fighting
  • Dark
  • Rock
  • Ice
Weak to:

  • Ground
  • Fire
Examples of Oil-type moves:

  • Oil Splash - The user splashes the opponent with oil and can lower their accuracy.
  • Oil Drench - The user drenches the opponent in oil. This can greatly lower their accuracy and Speed.
Aromatherapy becomes Oil type, because of 'aromatic oils'.

Minedreigon

A monument to all your sins
Revamp the fairy type:

Weak: Bug, Ice, Poison, Steel.

Resist: Dark, Fighting, Grass.

Immune: Dragon.

SE: Dark, Dragon, Fighting,

NFE: Bug, Fire, Ice, Poison. (No Steel.)

I think this would make it more fit for purpose as a “balancing” type. Doesn’t make steel even better of a defensive type, has an actually good offensive type as a weakness and buffs bug, gives some bad defensive types some much needed resists, etc.

Besides, can’t you imagine your garden variety pixie getting crunched on by an ant?

I feel like Fairy should be weak to Bug. I don't know why, maybe because fairies often get infested by bugs?

Speaking of which, I feel Dark types need a bit of a buff

Dark is good for Ghosts and Psychics (with immunity to the latter), but I do feel it needs more strengths. It has only two strengths and three weaknesses (Bug, Fighting and Fairy).

Same as regular Crobat

Egg moves
Brave Bird
Swords Dance
Refresh
Nasty Plot
Curse
Thunder Fang
Fire Fang
Ice Fang
Camouflage

New Ability- Vampiric- Increases power by 30% for Draining moves but exposure to harsh sunlight inflicts burn on the pokemon with ability.

New move- Vampire Fangs- Dark Type(Physical) BP 80- 5PP- Inflicts damage on the target and ½ of the damage dealt will be restored to the user as HP. Accuracy- 75%

Note- The light mentioned is Necrozma's Light released in previous games. Obviously takes more inspiration from Vampires.

So, with the Let's GO movepool, Eevee now has two Fighting moves(Detect, Double Kick), two Ghost moves(Curse, Shadow Ball) and two Ground moves(Sand Attack, Dig). Eevee also has a historical third Ground move, Mud-Slap.

Eevee needs another Poison one and another Steel, but for the time being Fighting Eeveelution seems much more likely for Gen 8.

If some shinies were changed, here's what I might do
  • Beedrill: Change the green to the purple of Butterfree
  • Nidoqueen: Preserve the old pattern of it looking like its gender counterpart the prior forms had
  • Kanto Persian, Golduck: Color it gold
  • Gengar: Darken its body and give it creepy red eyes
  • Electrode: Turn the blue to purple, like a Master Ball
  • Dragonite: Give it the blue coloration of its pre-evolutions
  • Chinchou line: Make it dark grey/black instead of blue/purple, referencing how dark and creepy actual anglerfish look like
  • Togepi line: Turn its patterns gold and silver, like the games they were introduced
  • Scizor: Make it metallic grey, reflecting the evolution through Metal Coat
  • Shedinja: Turn it a ghostly white/pale
  • Castform: Just give its alternate forms shinies
  • Garchomp: Deepen it to almost black, with a blood red change to the red belly
  • Lefeaon: Give it an autumn coloration
  • Dusknoir: Restores its old red coloration, while making the yellow parts black and the eye blue
  • Throh and Sawk: Either have each other's shinies, or be colored green for Throh
  • Krookodile: Give it the colors of original Sandile and Krokorok
  • Zoroa line: Change the blue/purple to green, referring its relationship with N
  • Carbink: Change the gems to pink, like Diancie's
  • Mega Charizard X: Make it regular Charizard's color with the blue flames and colors unchanged
  • Alolan Diglett line: Change the hair to metallic silver

@ Trainer Yusef: Name-wise, I would give the Poison type Eeveelution Toxeon, the Ghost type Spectreon, the Fighting type Brawleon and the Ground type Terraeon

Ash Ketchum Team

As part of the game, you can fight Ash using different teams. These Pokemon have had some evolution to be more of a challenge. All of them use a Pikachu with a different hat for the region they represent, and it has Static/holds a Light Ball
  • Kanto Team: Charizard(can Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard Y), Muk, Kingler, Pidgeot, Tauros
  • Johto Team: Meganium, Heracross(can Mega Evolve into Mega Heracross), Snorlax, Noctowl(shiny), Donphan
  • Hoenn Team: Sceptile(can Mega Evolve into Mega Sceptile), Swellow, Crawdaunt, Torkoal, Glalie
  • Sinnoh Team: Infernape(Return, max friendship), Floatzel, Staraptor, Gliscor, Garchomp
  • Unova Team: Samurott, Krookodile, Scrafty, Leavanny, Gigalith
  • Kalos Team: Greninja(has Battle Bond), Goodra, Talonflame, Noivern, Hawlucha
  • Legendary Team: Ho-oh, Latias, Meloetta, Zygarde, Tapu Koko

Love it. Great ideas.

While I'm here another branched evolution

Name: Eurypion
Type: Water/Bug
Ability: Swift Swim/ Battle Armor
Hidden Ability- Water Absorb
Evolves from Skorupi by levelling up while knowing Ancient Power

HP: 70
Attack: 95
Special attack: 40
Defence: 90
Special Defence: 110
Speed: 95
Total: 500

Level Up Moves

1- Ancient Power
1- Withdraw
1- Ice Fang
1- Bite
1- Knock Off
1- Bug Bite
5- Bubble
10- Fury Cutter
13- Acupressure
16- Aqua Jet
20- Pin missile
23- Liquidation
27- Aqua Ring
30- Hone Claws
34- Vicegrip
38- Aqua Tail
43- Recover
45- Waterfall
49- Crunch
53- Fell stinger
56- Swords Dance
59- X-Scissor
63- Dive
65- Rock Slide
67- Leech Life
70- Rain Dance
75- Giga Impact

Dex Entry 1- Eurypion is an Ancient Scorpion brought back to life through modern techniques after years of research. Its tail was mostly used to help it swim faster.
Dex Entry 2- Now Eurypion is a gentle creature that was brought back to life by teaching Skorupi the power of its ancient ancestors.

Ancient power is added to Skorupi moves by Move Tutor. (implying modern Skorupi can't naturally become this form)

Crabhammer is also added to Skorupi's egg moves. (Mainly so it can pass the move onto Dwebble who I always wanted to get the move and would now get it by chain breeding) But also it makes sense given the description of crabhammer.

Appearance Resembles various Eurypterids and some traits from Brontoscorpio. Keeps Skorupi's colour and is very large. (similar to Drapion )

Notes- The main reason for this one is due to Skorupi and Drapion's water type 3 egg grouping. The explanation behind needing a move tutor in-game is to explain why it was impossible in previous gens. Basically, the move tutors hadn't learnt how to. There would be a Skorupi offered with Ancient power as an in-game trade.

New Mythical pokemon
Possessorb
Type-Ghost
Ability- Cursed Body
Height-0.02

Stats (when not possessing a pokemon)
HP- 40
Attack- 20
Special Attack- 20
Defence- 20
Special Defence- 20
Speed- 20
Total- 140

Only Move- Possessed Power- BP70- Ghost (Special) Uses either attack or special attack depending on which is higher. 10PP
Appearance- Resembles a small white orb with a tiny face. Dark eyes and an angry expression (but hard to spot given its tiny size). Any pokemon it possesses gains the darkened eyes and angry expression (if it has a face) and a slight Ghostly aura.

Dex Entry 1- Possessorb is a weak pokemon but its secret power is to possess other pokemon and use their power to unleash devastation. It has some connection to the cursed artefact.
Dex Entry 2- The mythical Possessorb is a pokemon that is only found in places where people have died in unclean ways. It is unclear if it causes such deaths or simply is drawn to them.

Z-Move- Possessive Poltergeist- BP190 Uses either attack or special attack depending on what is higher.
Requires- Possessed Power and Possessorbium-Z
Only useable by Possessorb or any pokemon that it possesses.

New Key item-Cursed Artefact- Enables Possessorb to Possess any pokemon and using the item you can choose to change the ability of the pokemon to Cursed Body. Can be removed anytime outside of battle. (and ability reverts if Possessorb is removed)

Note- Possessorb is a deliberately weak pokemon. Its gimmick is that using the key item cursed artefact is can possess single typed pokemon (it merges with them similar to Necrozma however instead of absorbing them it is the one that disappeared within the pokemon it merges with). This enables them to learn Possessed power, to use its Z-move and it gains the Ghost-type. (Does not work on Ghost-type and any pokemon that is possessed cannot change form unless Possessorb is removed.) As such if it possesses a Blastoise it would come out as a Water/Ghost type but wouldn't be able to Mega Evolve. You can only have one possessed at a time. Takes on their stats too.

Takes inspiration from orbs, ghosts that possess and Poltergeist.

Event only pokemon.

Dex Entry 2- Raticate from the dream world always seek to bond with a trainer and uses its mystic abilities and its special bite to show off to a trainer. It seems like it always wants to escape the dream world.

New Ability- Mysticism- Mysticism causes all Dark-type moves used by the Pokémon to become Fairy-type and receive a 20% power boost.

How to obtain- Obtained in the dream world during Unova games. As they cannot breed in the dream world to breed them everstones are needed. Otherwise work like regular regional forms.

Appearance- Both Dreamworld Raticate and Rattatta resemble their base forms but are slimmer and have Pink Fur.
