  • Retired Leader Giovanni: In the main universe, Giovanni has retired his ambitions and can be fought. He states that he is aware of Team Rainbow Rocket, but refuses to be subject to the Giovanni in charge and is just happy his ambitions are being fulfilled elsewhere. He uses a Mega Charizard X, Alola Dugtrio, Nidoqueen, Kangaskhan, Rhydon with Eviolite and Persian
  • Madame Ariana: While Archer is trying to contact Team Rainbow Rocket and awaken Giovanni's ambitions, Ariana is looking after Giovanni. • Seafarer Archie and Vulcanologist Maxie: Archie has made a full turn, becoming an oceanologist who is helping clean up the seas and study rare creatures. It is revealed he is a native of Pacifdlog Town. In addition, he has become friends with Maxie. After over a decade, they see they share more in common than they thought. • Pokemon Trainer N: N's team is the same team he had in BW1, however Zekrom/Reshiram is replaced by Hydreigon. Specifically, Ghetsis' Hydreigon of whom its Frustration has become a maxxed Return. N reveals that he has been researching his family, and has learned that Ghetsis was actually his grandfather. He wonders if the loss of his parents/Ghetsis' child played a part in the closing of his heart, though admits he might be too optimistic. It's up to the player to decide why Ghetsis is evil
  • Sage Zinzolin: Zinzolin has served his time in prison, and is ready to fight. He uses Pokemon of various generations, though they are all Ice types. They are Mamoswine, Froslass, Weavile, Cryogonal, Vanilluxe and Beartic. He reveals that he and Ghetsis used to be old friends, sharing an interest in history and that they discovered Ghetsis was a descendant of the Abyssal Ruins. He isn't sure why he became so cold
  • Future Lysandre: History repeats. The Lysandre that appears to you is one from 3000 years into the future. The Ultimate Weapon did indeed grant him immortality, and after spending centuries alone in the wreckage of the buried Team Flare HQ he has come to atone for his actions. However after 3000 years, the world has become post-apocalyptic and he doesn't know why. He has gone back in time in hopes of preventing this future from coming to pass and make up for what he did. Future Lysandre uses his team, along with Milotic and Celebi

He's known for impersonating important figures like gym leaders in order to get cash and popularity. He has various teams, depending on the situation. They are imposters, impersonators, copies, mimicers and knock-offs. His partner is an Imposter Ditto who can disguise as a human partner. Ditto has max friendship. Type Retool

Bettering the defenses and offenses of certain types
  • Ice Type: Resists Water(Ice is just solid water, and ice resists ice) and Grass(grass has a horrible time growing in the cold). The Spheal line, Dewgong, Lapras and Cloyster lose a weakness. The Swinub and Amaura line loses two of their weaknesses
  • Dark Type: Add a resistance to Poison type attacks, since Poison types are dirty tricks and the Dark or evil type would see them coming. This removes Nuzleaf, Shiftry, Cacturne's weakness
  • Poison Type: Super-effective against Normal types. Because frankly, how's a normal person supposed to defend themselves against toxin?

New Type Combos

Umbralite, the Shadow Pokemon
Type-Ghost/Normal
Ability-Night Light(this Pokemon is immune to Dark type attacks). Night Light means like the Tynamo line, Umbralite has no normal type weaknesses
Breeding info: 50/50, Fairy Egg Group
Pokedex entry: "Umbralite lives in shadows, using a plush toy to interact with people. It emanates a light to help children and lost people in the dark"
Basis-Umbralite is a plush toy, specifically a rabbit, mixed with the idea of a living shadow. A sort of good counterpart to Banette, being that it is kind to and helps kids

Chilibber and Blizlard, the Mountain Creature and Mountain Beast Pokemon
Type-Normal/Ice
Ability-Thick Fat/Soft Body(this Pokemon is immune to Fighting type attacks), Snow Warning(Hidden Ability)
Evolution-Chilibber-Lv 40-Blizlard
Breeding info: 75 male/25 female, Monster/Human-Shape Egg group
Pokedex entry
  • "Chilibber are rarely seen, initially thought to be myths by mountain climbers. Their heavy-set body keeps them warm even at -170 degrees Fahrenheit"
  • "Blizlard's fatty body serves as a buffer for impacts, merely pushing them off course. They compete with Abomasnow for food"
Basis-The line is based off a mix of things, such as a hiker, snowman and yeti. They are a sort of counterpart to the Snover line

Mecmon, Automon and Asimon, the Artificial Pokemon
Type-Steel/Normal
Ability-Run Away(Mecmon), Sturdy/Unburden(Automon, Asimon), Solar Drive(Hidden Ability)
Evolution-Mecmon-Lv 17-Automon-Lv 31-Asimon
Breeding info: Genderless, Mineral Egg group
Pokedex entry
  • "Mecmon was created artificially, in hopes of better understanding Pokemon environment and behavior. While not intentional, it has developed an intelligence of its own and is known to be disobedient and playful with people"
  • "Despite being fully mechanical, Automon are incredibly skilled at mimicking and performing tasks of organic Pokemon. While they have a rudimentary ability to gain energy from food, Automon prefer using their solar panels"
  • "Asimon have learned how to construct themselves and sustain their population on their own, though scientists are unsure how they do it. They often compete with other Pokemon for territory, and have been seen leading armies of Mecmon."
Basis-The Mecmon line is based off the idea of artificial intelligence, and robots created to possess animal behavior. The Pokemon is a collection of orbs and spheres, getting more complex each evolution. It is an early Pokemon, and the Normal typing is due to how it is trying to mimick natural behaviors

25- Feather Fury
29- Wing Attack
33- Roost
37- Pudge Up
46- Feather Dance
47- Mirror Move
50- Brave Bird
55- Hurricane

Dex Entry 1- Pidgey from Pudgy Pidgey Isle were thought to have become overweight due to the lack of predators. However recent studies have indicated that the reason for the lack of predators is actually due to the Pidgey being too strong and driving their predators from the Isle. The changes in body is due to diet. They can fly but they seldom need to.
Dex Entry 2- Pudgey Pidgey seems to mainly eat the berries from Pudgy Pidgey isle. Recent studies indicate that the Berries alter Pidgey at a gentic level. Even more curious is that no other pokemon can eat them. Not even Pidgeotto.

New Moves
Pudge Up- Status move-(normal) PP15- Increases Special defence and Defence by 1 stage. If the user holds a Pudgy berry its effect is also applied.

Feather Fury- Physical(Flying) PP15-Inflicts damage equal to the user's level .

New Item- Pudgy Berry- In a pinch or If Pudge Up is used the berry is consumed but then the user will take reduced damage from super-effective attacks by ¼ regardless of the effectiveness multiplier and recovers 10% of health. (effect only works on Pudgy Pidgey otherwise berry has no effect and reduced damage effect will only work once per battle )

Appearance- Resembles Pidgey seen in the anime episode- Fly me to the moon.

Defence- 140
Special defence- 140
Speed- 100
Total- 580

Dex Entry 1- An ancient Legend indicates that if you encounter Broken Hearted you are doomed to never find your true love. This has led to this form of Spinda feeling constantly broken hearted. It tries to garner love but every time it does it causes confusion.
Dex entry 2- The broken-hearted Spinda seeks someone who can see past its broken-hearted mark and treat it with the love it craves. It is said its desire to find love has made it more resilient but ironically it can sometimes be too defensive to truly bond with another.

Level Up Moves

-Fake Tears
-Attract
-Recover
1 Tackle
5 Copycat
10 Feint Attack
14 Psybeam
19 Hypnosis
23 Dizzy Punch

New move- Defensive heart- 70BP (normal) Physical 8pp- uses its own Defensive (instead of attack) stat to calculate its damage and deals double damage if the target is infatuated.

Note- based on the Broken Hearted Spinda seen in the anime episode Going for a Spinda

Diamond/Pearl remake legends, Ultras and mythicals

Some ideas I have of encountering certain Pokemon and how they could differ from before

Legendary Golems: Unlike before, these Pokemon are in the regional dex. They are found in certain areas as major bosses, once you know the requirements. Regirock is deep in the Oreburgh Mine, Registeel dwells in Iron Island and Regice is in Snowpoint Temple. Once Regice is caught, a second chamber rips open revealing much more powerful Pokemon. However you are unable to enter until the post-game, since its is unsafe and they need time to build a safe way down to these lower chambers. There, with the legendary golems in your party, lays Regigigas

Jirachi and Deoxys: Instead of Darkrai and Manaphy being event-exclusive, Jirachi and Deoxys are events here. The Galactic Code is an event item that lets you get both. In the initial game, Galactic HQ is researching a mysterious Pokemon connected to space. You can go there for a Level 40 Jirachi. Once you catch it post-game, it is revealed that experiments with space viruses and these meteorites have released a Pokemon. This is a Level 65 Deoxys. Deoxys' forme that it appears to you is randomized. Neither of these Pokemon are shiny-locked

Cresselia and Darkrai: This time around, these Pokemon are version exclusives rather than one being an event. Cresselia is found in Diamond, Darkrai is found in Pearl. One story has you search for Cresselia in order to cure Sailor Eldritch's son of nightmares. The other has you confront Darkrai in order to take away its current power of inflicting nightmares and cure his son.

Phione and Manaphy: Unlike before, Phione can become a Manaphy. Phione are found as rare Pokemon fishing. You have a 1% chance of encountering them with an Old Rod, 5% chance of encountering them with a Good Rod and 10% chance of encountering them with a Super Rod. Once you get near the Elite 4, there is a new underwater cave. It is revealed that the Sea Crown is present. This is a mystical place where Phione can evolve into Manaphy. However the Sea Crown can only evolve one Phione into Manaphy per trainer. If you have already evolved your Phione through this, you can only use it a second time with a Phione from another ID. Both Phione and Manaphy are included in the regional dex

Shaymin: Another event item is the Floaroma Beacon. This lets you summon a Level 15 Shaymin in Floraoma Town. It's an early event you can use, like Victini. You can then trade this item after obtaining Shaymin for a Gracidea

Giratina and Arceus: A special episode I'll talk about later

Ultra Beasts and Cosmog: After Cyrus' defeat, it is revealed that his actions have created tears in reality that have summoned an Ultra Beast across the region. While catchable in the main story, they are not in the regional Pokedex. Unlike USUM, you only get one of these per game...at least in the main story. These portals re-open whenever you defeat the Elite 4. They are found initially at Level 50, become Level 60 after beating the Elite 4, Level 70 upon defeating them in a rematch then cap out.

In addition, you can find a Cosmog earlier on. When you first visit Veilstone, you rescue a little Cosmog. The Cosmog is not shiny locked, and you can soft reset for it. It is Level 30. Cosmog becomes a Solgaleo in Diamond, and Lunala in Pearl. Later on in the post-game, a Level 75 Lunala(Diamond) or Solgaleo(Pearl) opens up in a portal if you have its opposite. This Pokemon is shiny-locked, unlike the Cosmog you got

Hoopa and the other events: The last event-exclusive Pokemon, and a very important one. This game allows you to get other events through Special Wormholes. Regular Wormholes, like before, let you encounter legendary Pokemon for completionist sake that were not in the main game or the game in the same generation. Hoopa is obtained through an event-exclusive item, which you can change for the item to switch its forms. It confronts you at an impressive Level 75. It is revealed that Hoopa in ORAS was behind the legendary portals

The following mythicals are obtainable after getting this special Hoopa, mostly through portals. None of them are shiny-locked. The Sun and Moon mythicals are found in the Gen 8 game that was released before
  • Meltan: These become a rare Pokemon available in the wild, a break-out due to Hoopa. Their levels vary on where they are found. A new means of evolution is introduced so you don't have to rely on Pokemon GO
  • Mew: Obtained when you have a Mewtwo in your party
  • Celebi: Obtainable when you have a Lugia, Ho-oh or Suicune in your party
  • Victini, Genesect: Obtainable when you have a Zekrom, Reshiram or Kyurem in your party
  • Keldeo: Obtainable when you have all three of the Musketeer trio in your party
  • Meloetta, Diancie: Obtainable normally
  • Volcanion: Obtainable when you have a Xerneas, Yveltal or Zygarde in your party

Zeraora(Vengeful Forme)
Type-Electric/Dark
Ability-Iron Fist
BST-600(stat distribution unchanged, moveset is different)
Z-Move: Zeraoranium makes the Electric type Plasma Fists to Brutal Bolt Beatdown in this form(it can only achieve this in Vengeful Forme). It is super-effective against Pokemon weak to Dark type moves

Zeraora(Heroic Forme)
Type-Electric/Fighting
Ability-Levitate
BST-600(stat distribution unchanged, moveset is different)
Z-Move: Zeraoranium makes the Electric type Plasma Fists to Plasma Punch-Out(it can only achieve this in the Heroic Forme). It is super-effective against Pokemon weak to Fighting type moves, even if they are Ground type

Meltan Gen 8 event: The Meltan have a curious means of being found. Meltan are found naturally in the wild, but an event is needed to achieve its evolution. Meltan is also close to Ditto, leading to some speculation they are relatives. You collect 5 Meltan, and once one Meltan is at least Level 45 you may request a "Meltan fusion", creating Melmetal from fusing the Meltan. To prevent confusion, you pick which Meltan serves as the leader. This will determine the Melmetal's nature, moveset, shiny ect. There is another way to get one, as seen below

Melmetal(Ditto Form)
Type-Steel
Ability-Assimilation(if this Pokemon attacks or is attacked by Pokemon of the same type, it heals)
Evolution-To get a Meltan to achieve this form, the initial fusion must require 4 Meltan and a Ditto, with the Ditto having to be Level 45 or higher. The Ditto determines the nature, moveset, shiny ect. This is a nod to the original Ditto evolution in the GS World demo, which involved a Metal Coat
BST-600(HP 105, 123 Atk, 83 Def, 80 Sp Atk, 85 Sp Def, 104 Speed)
Note-This Melmetal will learn Transform upon evolution. It has some copy moves like Mimic, Reflect Type and the such compared to its normal form. It has a signature move, Metal Mimic, where it copies a Pokemon's moveset and ability but retains its typing and stats

Dex Entry 2- The cores of Zygarde are each said to have their own signature move. The move they know defines their personality.

New Zygarde Forms
Cell Form

Sp.Atk: 20
Sp.Def: 55

How to obtain- after obtaining The Zygarde cube if you have a single Zygarde Core you can use the Zygarde Core form and if you have a Zygarde Cell you can transform into a Zygarde Cell form. Starts off with Aura break until 100% of Zygarde cores and Cells are caught when you can have a power construct form.
