Can we suggest changes for Pokémon? Because Alolan Exeggutor could use a stat swap between Attack and Special attack, making it a Physical Attacker... and benefitting from Dragon Hammer and Wood Hammer.

Delibird (of all Pokémon) could also use a stat swap between Attack and Physical Attack, especially with Hustle... and the fact that this odd bird can learn Drill Peck and Drill Run! Yes, THIS BIRD can learn a Ground move to surprise any Fire, Electric, Rock and Steel-type Pokémon, ALL of which being super-effective against an Ice/Flying Pokémon.

I swear, if all Pokémon that could learn Drill Peck could learn Drill Run, a LOT of Flying-type would punch a hole into any Electric-type Pokémon ;P

Appearance: (self-evident, though the males are purple and the females are tan)

Etymology: Kangasker is a combination of 'kangaroo' and 'asker,' the Turkish word for soldier.

Signature Move: War Cry

Legendary/Mythical Ideas

Cataclomet, the Extinction Pokemon
Type-Steel/Rock(normal), Steel/Water(Aquarian Forme/while holding a Water Stone), Steel/Fire(Burning Forme/while holding a Fire Stone or Sun Stone), Steel/Fairy(while holding a Moon Stone or Shiny Stone)
Ability-Stone Heart(the user's form shifts and their type changes depending on what their evolutionary stone is. Rock type moves change to the type of their new secondary type)
BST-690
Pokedex entry: "The arrival of this ancient Pokemon caused a mass extinction event that is behind most fossil type Pokemon's disappearance. However it also allowed new means of evolution and new biodiversity"
Name basis: Cataclysm+Comet
Basis: This legendary Pokemon is based off the idea of mass extinction events, being a personified form of the K-T impactor. In-universe, it is the originator of the evolutionary stones. The initial type combination is based on the type of composition asteroids have

Taonova, the Balanced? Pokemon
Type-Dragon/Fairy
Ability-Plasma Drive(the user's Fire and Electric type moves are increased in power 50%, at the cost of Ice type attacks doing 50% more damage)
BST-740
Pokedex entry: "Over 2500 years ago, this alien Pokemon arrived in what is now Unova and led its founders to victory. However its own mercurial nature and the founder's differing views split its soul in half, leaving a husk"
Name basis: Tao+Unova
How to obtain: Like Zygarde, you can transform the Tao Trio into this by merging them, but with the Grey Stone as a key item and not just the DNA Splicers. You can also split them apart
Basis: An idea of the original dragon, with opposing types united in a form of balance which also gives it a unique and otherworldy status for the pre-fairy Gen V

Morphoon, the Dream Pokemon
Type-Ghost/Fairy
Ability-Dream Lord(allies and itself are healed sleeping like Rest, enemies suffer the same effect as Bad Dreams)
BST-680
Pokedex entry: "Having come from the moon, Morphoon generates dreams and nightmares alike from its fortress. It is said to not even have a physical form; it's appearance is but a vision for a disembodied consciousness"
Name basis: Morpheus+Moon
Basis: A duo master, it is the Mythical Pokemon superior to both Cresselia and Darkrai

Fire Starter ideas :p
(Horse) Foalit - lvl. 16 - Ponsun - lvl. 36 - Stallilos
Type
: Fire, then Fire, then Fire/Steel
Ability: Blaze, Shinestar (during sunshine, the opponent's accuracy decreases by 2 stages)
A white pony that gradually evolves into a destrier in shining armor, based on mythical horses that pull the Sun.

(Snake) Aspetit - lvl. 16 - Vipasand - lvl. 36 - Cobrapep
Type
: Fire, then Fire, then Fire/Poison
Ability: Blaze, Burning Venom (the user's moves can either Burn or Poison, if the move already has one of the effects)
A small snake that gradually evolves into a mighty emperor cobra, based on pharaohs and Apep, the destructive snake God of Egypt.

(Goat) Goatite - lvl. 16 - Sheepeek - lvl. 36 - Ramagma
Type
: Fire, then Fire, then Fire/Rock
Ability: Blaze, Rock Head
A goat that gradually evolves into a ram with magma veins on its hooves and horns, based on mountain goats and rams.

(Ox) Laveal - lvl. 16 - Calflare - lvl. 36 - Minomaze
Type
: Fire, then Fire, then Fire/Ground
Ability: Blaze, Maze Curse (any of the user's moves can Confuse the opponent (10% chance), and a move that can already Confuse has a 10% chance increase)
A veal/calf that gradually evolves into a muscular Minotaur.

(Dog) Doberoast - lvl. 16 - Orthoast- lvl. 36 - Cerberoast
Type
: Fire, then Fire, then Fire/Dark
Ability: Blaze, Three Minds (the user has 1/3 chance to shake off Status effects and stat penalties every turn.)
A doberman that gradually evolves into a three-headed dog, based on Orthus the legendary two-headed dog, and Cerberus, the three-headed guardian dog of the Underworld.

Now, I know what you are thinking: "But Delphox already represents the Dog!" I'm sorry, but... it's a HUGE stretch right now. Foxes are canines, but are not dog breeds. Yeah, the jury is currently out on that Delphox and Thyphlosion being the Dog and the Rat representations of the Chinese Zodiac, and yes, Charizard does represent the Dragon, despite not initially having the type, because back in Gen 1, the Dragon type was so OP that only one Pokémon had it, no Dragon-type move could hit them effectively and had resistances to four common types.

Fakemon Ideas

Frostle, Cheligloo and Tundroise the Ice Cube, Igloo and Ice Fortress Pokemon
Type-Ice(Frostle), Ice/Steel(Cheligloo and Tundroise)
Ability-Sturdy(Normal), Thick Fat(Hidden)
Evolution: Frostle-Lv 24-Cheligloo-Ice Stone-Tundroise
Egg group-Mineral
Gender ratio: Genderless
Pokedex entry
-"While looking organic, Frostle is in fact a sentient block of ice resembling the likes of Squirtle and Turtwig. They are stronger together, so huddle in formations"
-"Cheligloo shells are made of super-hard ice, due to a metal skeleton as a support. Ongoing research suggests this was created by its diet of metal-rich ores"
-"Tundroise are partly hollow, and so giant smaller Ice types call the innards of the Pokemon home. Cannons on its side protect the inhabitants from invaders"
Name basis" Frost+turtle, Chelonian+igloo, Tortoise+Tundra
Basis: This Pokemon is a turtle/tortoise merged with an igloo. It starts off as a block of ice, then a small igloo, then an almost fortress-like igloo. Like Torterra, the final form also has allusions to the turtle island trope

Spokwet, Spectirate and Scawrek, the Sea Spirit/Rusty/Rusty Pirate Pokemon
Type-Ghost/Water
Ability-Rusty(when on the field, Water type moves do 50% more damage to Steel types)
Evolution: Spokwet-Lv 25-Spectirate-Lv 37-Scawrek
Egg group-Amorphous
Gender ratio-75% female/25% male
Pokedex entry
-"This Pokemon was first found in a shipwreck. It is thought they are the spirits of lost seafarers...or spirits that caused said loss"
-"Spectirate are a bad omen. Whenever they see a ship, said ship is lucky to have goods stolen. More likely, it has sunk due to a rust-induced puncture"
-"Scawrek has created a mighty armor from the remains of the ships it sunk. Steel wilts in their presence"
Name basis: Spook+wet, Spectre+pirate, Shipwreck+Scary
Basis: This Pokemon is based off the idea of the ghost pirate mixed with broken ships and rust. Its female-oriented gender ratio is to play on the pirate girl trope and reverse stereotypes. Male members of this line have a long seaweed beard instead of females who have a barnacle "hairpiece" and seaweed "hair"

Stanguish and Gravagony, the Hidden Toxin and Agony Pokemon
Type-Rock/Poison
Evolution: Stanguish-Poison Stone-Gravagony
Ability-Dirt Bed(normal), Poison Touch(Hidden). Dirt Bed makes the user immune to Ground type attacks. Instead, they increase the user's evasiveness
Egg group-Mineral/Water 2
Gender ratio-50% male, 50% female
Pokedex entry
-"Stanguish hide underneath stones and sea sand. If that's not enough, its toxic "pebbles" will give intruders a nasty surprise"
-"Gravagony are capable of "swimming" by burying deep into the ground and sea bed. When close to the surface, their super-toxic spines pop out as a telltale sign and warning"
Name basis: Stone+Anguish and Agony+Gravel
Basis: This line is based off the stonefish, merged with the idea of gravel and sand. In that it is literally using stones as part of its anatomy, and its ability is because it is using the ground to better cover itself and be disguised for that very unfortunate swimmer

Ideas For Hidden Abilities

Mew: Protean
Misdreavus and Mismagius: Intimidate
Celebi: Grassy Surge
Baltoy and Claydol: Own Tempo
Vibrava and Flygon: Sand Stream
Chingling and Chimecho: Basically a version of Punk Rock given another name
Deoxys: Clear Body
Carnivine: Flycatcher(the user is healed by Bug type attacks)
Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie: Defiant or Clear Body
Rotom: Prankster
Phione and Manaphy: Synchronize
Shaymin: Immunity
Musketeer Quartet: Swordmaster(sword and blade moves are boosted in power, Swords Dance increases attack by 3 points instead of 2)
Cryogonal: Snow Cloak
Diancie: Sturdy
Volcanion: Steam Engine
Turtonator: Aftermath
Meltan and Melmetal: Ore Eater(the user is healed from Steel-type moves) or Fluffy(because physically attacking a liquid is...difficult)

New gimmicky Fakémon I came up wiÞ on a walk earlier today, based on training dummies, punching clowns, and cannon fodder troops. It's meant to seem weak, but to actually be a super-annoyance in double battles.

Lukamee ("Look at me!" + "Lucky me...")
The REDIRECT Pokémon
Type: Ghost
Ability: Rattled/Telepathy (HA: Fluffy)
Gender Ratio: 50% Male/50% Female
Egg Group: Amorphous
Height: 3'07 (1.1 m)
Weight: 40 lbs (18 kg)
Pokédex Color: White
Dex Entry #1: "Once they were valuable soldiers in ancient combat, but now they wander the land looking for allies to defend."
Dex Entry #2: "No matter how much damage a Lukamee takes while defending, it will be revitalized later at the stroke of midnight, free of wear and tear and ready for battle!"
HP: 140
Atk: 20
Def: 80
SpA: 20
SpD: 80
Spe: 40
BST: 380

Learnset: Acceptance*, After You, Agility, Ally Switch, Amnesia, Belly Drum, Bestow, Calm Mind, Charm, Coaching, Confide, Counter (Level 1), Curse, Defense Curl, Destiny Bond, Disable, Dynamic Punch, Encore, Endeavor, Endure, Focus Punch, Follow Me (Level 1), Foul Play, Grudge, Guard Swap, Haze, Heal Block, Helping Hand, Hex, Life Dew, Me First, Mirror Coat (Level 1), Mirror Move, Night Shade, Pain Split, Perish Song, Phantom Force, Poltergeist, Power Swap, Psych Up, Quick Guard, Refresh, Roar, Speed Swap, Spite, Spit Up, Spotlight, Stockpile, Swallow, Trick Room, Wide Guard, Wish (Level 1)

*Acceptance is a new Ghost-type signature status move (with 5PP) where the user's stats (HP/Atk/Def/SpA/SpD) each raise by one stage. This move fails if the user A) has not taken damage from a direct attack this turn or B) successfully used this move on the last turn.

Lukamee would be found on a pretty-early route where an ancient battle once happened, similar to Route 10 in Kalos, wiÞ a 5% base encounter rate, but being VERY commonly summoned in SOS battles or found in horde battles.

More Legendary/Mythical lines

Regigigas(Awakened Forme)
Type-Normal/Fighting
Ability-Vital Spirit
BST-670(110 HP, 190 Atk, 80 Def, 80 Speed, 70 Sp Def, 140 Speed)
Key item: Relic Salts(basically "awakens" like smelling salts to Regigigas). Obtained by having all five other legendary golems in your party
Pokedex entry-"Unsuppressed and awakened, Regigigas can reshape continents with its bulk. It is thought to have first exhausted itself completing the five legendary golems"

Sea Temple and Sea Crown: In the Sinnoh remakes, Phione is a rare(1-10% encounter) fishing encounter. The Sea Temple is similar to Kubfu's evolution method, but now you can evolve Phione to Manaphy. The Sea Crown as prior mentioned is an event-exclusive item that evolves Phione to Manaphy

Tapu Lola
Type-Fire/Fairy
Ability-Surge Strength(the user's attack stats are buffed during a terrain)
Pokedex entry: "It is thought this Pokemon forged Alola in the first place. It considers the islands to be like its children, and awakens when they are all in danger."
BST-680(70 HP, 130 Atk, 130 Def, 130 Sp Atk, 130 Sp Def, 90 Speed)
Name basis: Tapu+Alola
Basis: This line is based off the Hawaiian volcano goddess Pele, and functions as a quartet master for the Tapus

Sinnoan Meltan and Melmetal
Type-Steel/Fighting
Ability-Fluffy(Meltan), Galvanize(Melmetal)
Evolution: Meltan-Lv up to 50 while having a Ditto in the party-Melmetal
Pokedex entry
-"In ancient times Meltan was brought to Sinnoh to protect it in a great war. It has been reforged into a combatant, and has a harder body
How to obtain: This mythical Meltan is unlocked with an event-exclusive item, the Ancient Metal. With this, you go about certain missions. Once they are unlocked, Meltan becomes a 10% encounter in Fuego Ironworks and a 5% encounter on Iron Island. If you have a Sinnoan Meltan or Melmetal at max friendship, you can trade it for a regular Meltan or Melmetal"
-"The harsher climate of Sinnoh prodded this Melmetal to focus on combat, and it acted as a sentinel protecting Sinnoh during the great war. It is capable of generating thunderbolts".
Basis: This variant takes influence from the more combative side of the cyclops, namely the three cyclops who aided Zeus in the Titanomachy. The ability of Sinnoan Melmetal reflects how said cyclops were the ones who constructed Zeus' bolt. The ability of Sinnoan Meltan is because a gooey T-1000 isn't exactly something easy to punch and make it hurt. The addition of a Ditto(which is added to the new Sinnoh Dex) is reflective of how it was first revealed in GO

Eternamax Arceus
Type-Normal
Ability-Protean
Height: 85 meters
BST-1255(255 HP, 200 Atk, 200 Def, 200 Sp Atk, 200 Sp Def, 200 Speed)
E-Max Move: E-Max Judgement(a Normal type move than ignores type effectiveness)
Pokedex entry-"Experminations by Cyrus has restored Arceus to its original power levels on creating the universe. Capable of bending reality to its whims, it is theorized Eternatus was fragmented from it during creation"
Basis: The mention of Eternatus comes from me subscribing to a theory, "the dark hand of god"

New Battle Effects!

I. WEATHER EFFECTS
1. Soot/Ash
The Soot/Ash weather effect is an effect primarily associated with Fire-type Pokémon, where volcanic ash falls from the sky. During the duration of this effect, the power of Fire and Poison-type moves is increased, and the power of Grass and Flying-type moves is decreased. Accuracy across the field is automatically lowered by one stage during this effect.

2. Snow
The Snow weather effect is an effect primarily associated with Ice-type Pokémon, where a light snowfall is in motion. During the duration of this effect, the power of Ice-type moves is increased. Unlike Hail, this effect does not inflict damage every turn. Blizzard always hits while Snow is in effect. The accuracy of Sheer Cold increases to 50 while Snow is in effect. Snow Warning now activates Snow instead of Hail.

3. Acid Rain
The Acid Rain weather effect is an effect primarily associated with Poison-type Pokémon, where a harmful rain falls from the sky. All Pokémon other than Poison types take 1/16th damage every turn. Water and Steel-type Pokémon take 1/8th damage every turn. Steel-type Pokémon are susceptible to being poisoned while Acid Rain is in effect.

4. Heavy Wind
The Heavy Wind weather effect is an effect primarily associated with Flying-type Pokémon, where strong wind blows on the field. The power of Flying-type moves is increased, and the power of Rock-type moves is decreased. Speed increases caused by Tailwind are doubled during this effect. Hurricane always hits while Heavy Wind is in effect. Speed across the field is automatically lowered by one stage during this effect, excluding Flying-type Pokémon.

II. TERRAINS
1. Lava Terrain
Lava Terrain is a terrain effect associated with Fire-type Pokémon. During the duration of this effect, all grounded Pokémon in battle take 1/16th damage every turn, excluding Fire-type Pokémon. The following moves are negated while Lava Terrain is in effect:
- Dive
- Grass Pledge
- Ingrain
- Leech Seed
- Soak
- Surf
- Water Pledge

2. Water Terrain
Water Terrain is a terrain effect associated with Water-type Pokémon. During the duration of this effect, the power of Water-type moves is increased. The power of Surf is doubled. The move Dive requires in only one turn while Water Terrain is in effect. The following moves are negated while Water Terrain is in effect:
- Flame Charge
- Fire Pledge
- Fire Spin
- Lava Plume

3. Sandy Terrain
Sandy Terrain is a terrain effect that increases the power of Ground-type moves. Damage dealt by Sandstorm is doubled while Sandy Terrain is in effect. Grounded Pokémon cannot be Poisoned while Sandy Terrain is in effect.

4. Toxic Terrain

Ability- Turncloak- Changes secondary type when either it takes a super effective move (will change to a type that is no longer take super effective damage from that move) or if it uses treacherous cloak it will change type if it has a type that it can become super effective against the target prior to the attack.

Can learn certain moves from other types if transformed into the correct type.

New Move-
Treacherous cloak- Type(Normal)Special-(5PP)- 80BP-Deals damage based on its secondary type. Will do double damage against own allies.

Follow them-Type-(Dark) status- (5PP) Forces all enemy attacks to target an ally. (Increased priority)

Random Cloak Shift- Type (Bug)- (10PP)-changes secondary type randomly.

Betrayal Strike- Type- (Dark) 5PP-120BP- attack can only target allies or pokemon that share its exact types (if it has 3 types due to forest's curse or similar the target must have all 3 types). Will fail otherwise.

Types
Can become any secondary type if Wormadam has a relevant form. (Including Dragon, Flying and Ice as I previously suggested and fire type as someone else created.) May get new type options if new forms are added.

Appearance- Resembles a Regular Burmy but the eyes are red. Can change form prior to battle if you bring the relevant Burmy or Wormadam into the party or speaking to a specific NPC.

How to obtain- Given by an NPC after showing him every form of Wormadam. NPC will enable you to transform types prior to battle in-game. (likely replaced by a key item in future games)

I like this!

This is an incredibly interesting idea for a regional variant, and definitely puts more interest into the Burmy line.

I love how well you explained why Turncloak Burmy does not evolve, and it makes a lot of sense. I think I would enjoy battling with that pokemon.

I think the Goomy line should've been Dragon/Poison instead of just pure Dragon. They're purple and green, which are colours often associated with Poison types, and their goo could be likened to Sludge or Toxic. Game Freak probably didn't make them so as there was already a Dragon/Poison type in Gen 6 (Dragalge) and they probably didn't want two Pokémon in the same gen having the same type combo.

Some others:

  • Charizard - Fire/Dragon (although it does become one as Mega Charizard X)
  • Gyarados - Water/Dragon (I think it was meant to be Dragon-type before Red/Blue came out? But there was only one Dragon-type move in Gen 1, Dragon Rage, which only ever does 40 HP damage, so it was probably dropped for that reason as they didn't want it to seem weak)
  • Lugia - Water/Flying (it's called the guardian of the seas, and also to counter Ho-Oh's Fire/Flying typing)
  • Groudon - Fire/Ground (though it does become one with its Primal form)
  • Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf - Psychic/Fairy
  • Samurott - Water/Fighting (it's like a samurai crossed with an otter)
  • The Flabébé line and Comfey - Grass/Fairy
  • Midnight Form Lycanroc - Rock/Dark (since it's only found at night)
  • Dhelmise - Water/Ghost (since it's an anchor and was born out from the ruins of a ghost ship)
  • Solgaleo - Fire/Psychic (it represents the sun, and the surface of the sun is very hot)
  • Rillaboom - Grass/Rock
  • Cinderace - Fire/Fighting (yeah, I know, people complain about there being too many Fire/Fighting starters, but in Cinderace's case, it would make sense?)
  • Inteleon - Water/Psychic (since it's meant to be like a spy)
  • Clobbopus and Grapploct - Water/Fighting (Grapploct's Dex entry in Sword says it lives in the sea)
  • Falinks - Bug/Fighting (since it looks like a caterpillar or centipede)

Rillaboom should have been Grass/Dark in my opinion.

And I second Samurott should have been water/fighting.

I am still quite (and rather bummed) surprised Galar has no pokemon based on the Cheshire Cat, a creature from English folklore made popular by Lewis Carroll. Thus, I naturally created my own.
