A man can dream, huh. A man can dream

More Legendary And Mythical Additions

Atonshu, the Mortality Pokemon
Name basis: Ato+Kunshu (Japanese for After (as in aftermath and afterlife) and monarch)
Type-Ghost
Ability-Regenerator
BST-600 (90 HP, 90 Atk, 90 Def, 110 Sp Atk, 110 Sp Def, 110 Speed)
Pokedex entry
  • "Three Pokemon perished and were reincarnated in a fire as legends. Their shed mortality manifests as Atonshu"
  • "Atonshu travels across the land to aid lonely souls onto moving onto the next life. It is manifested from a trio of great beasts"
Counterparts: Raikou, Entei and Suicune (soul-relatives), Ho-oh (creator)
Basis: Atonshu is the Keldeo equivalent by being a Mythical fourth member of a trio, though unlike Keldeo isn't an "Extra member" and rather than being a fourth Pokemon who perished and was reborn, Atonshu is an embodiment of all of the legendary beasts. It represents the death and rebirth of the Pokemon who died in the tower. This, and in addition to reflecting the rebirth angle it shaes Ho-oh's hidden ability and knowing a bunch of Fire type moves

Celebi (Past Paradox and Future Paradox forms)
Type-Psychic/Fire (Past Celebi), Electric/Grass (Future Celebi)
Ability-Transitionary (if the user's type changes, moves of that original type become the same type as the one that replaced it)
BST-670
  • Past Paradox: 100 HP, 95 Atk, 95 Def, 130 Sp Atk, 120 Sp Def, 130 Speed
  • Future Paradox: 100 HP, 130 Atk, 120 Def, 95 Sp Atk, 95 Sp Def, 130 Speed
Held item-Scarlet and Violet Stone
  • Scarlet Stone: "This ancient item gives Celebi the power to mimic Paradox Pokemon"
  • Violet Stone: "This anachronistic item gives Celebi the power to copy Paradox Pokemon"
Pokedex entry
  • Past Paradox Celebi: "To endure the distant past, Celebi becomes a mighty forest spirit. Its flames scourge rotten growths and renews old soil"
  • Future Paradox Celebi: "To withstand the distant future, Celebi gains a powerful augmenting armor. Its lightning triggers rain to grow fresh new produce"
Basis: A variation of Paradox Pokemon. Being a time traveler, Celebi has a way of adapting to the distant past or distant future implied with the Paradox Pokemon. It is not a separate Pokemon because since it travels across time it's not really native to a specific era. The stat boost is reminiscent of Hoopa Unbound and how Paradox Pokemon are a fair bit stronger than their template

- Mega Evolution as part of the upcoming DLC for S/V
- Battle Frontier DLC for BD/SP
- Sevii Islands DLC for Let's Go
- Gen 1, 2, and 3 Pokémon games for NSO
- the ability to transfer Pokémon obtained in these NSO games to Pokémon HOME. Pokémon obtained in Gen 1 or 2 should have their hidden abilities
- a new Legends game taking place in ancient Johto. It should be a true open world game like S/V and not an open zone game like Legends Arceus
Of course, if there were going to be games for NSO such as Pokemon, it would be a challenge to get those games to connect with Pokemon HOME.

Also, I realized that we don't have a dog Pokemon based on a Husky.

Convergent Pokemon Concept

Meteyu and Astermie, the Stelliferous Pokemon
Name basis: Staryu line, Meteor and Asteroid (alongside the Asteroidea class)
Type-Steel (Meteyu), Steel/Fire (Astermie)
Ability-Flash Fire/Weak Armor (normal), Levitate (Hidden)
Gender ratio: Gender unknown
Egg group: Mineral
Evolution: Meteyu-Fire Stone-Astermie
Pokedex entry (Meteyu)
  • "Some say Meteyu was a fragment of an asteroid that gained a life of its own. Others say that the metallic coating is some sort of space suit for the organism within"
  • "Meteyu look like Staryu, but that appears to be a coincidence. They are capable of flight through sheer speed and force of their spinning"
Pokedex entry (Astermie)
  • "Within Astermie is a white-hot core which propels them into orbit. Sadly for ufologists this hasn't confirmed whether they're native to a planet or an asteroid belt"
  • "Closer look at Astermie's genetic structure reveals it is strangely organic, yet doesn't have any carbon in it. Conspiracy theorists believe they are planning an invasion"
Basis: The Meteyu line is an extraterrestrial Pokemon that is meant to parallel the Staryu line. Similar to the likes of Solrock/Lunatone and Minior, it is effectively an asteroid/meteor, only to make it a bit distinct I have given it the Steel typing in order to reflect thunderbolt iron, high metal content in asteroids and a space ship. Another trait is that it reflects how often, even if they're not humanoid, aliens in fiction look like fauna on Earth

Magmaestro
Fire/Flying
Abilities- Flame Body/Flash Fire
Hidden ability- Aerilate
Evolves from Magmar with a Shiny Stone while knowing a flying move (branch evo)

HP- 75
Attack- 55
Special Attack-125
Defence-77
Special Defence-105
Speed-103
Total-540

Moves
- Heatwave
- Flamethrower
- Air Slash
- Tailwind
- Lava Plume
- Roost
- Hurricane
- Defog
- Agility
- Helping Hand
- Hyper Voice
- Calm Mind
- Overheat
- Evaporating Fire

Can also learn the same moves Magmar knows.

Dex Entry 1- In order to access new food sources certain Magmar choose to evolve to this form. While they are much less strong at direct combat they have a new fighting style where they launch hot fire from the air into the sea to expose their prey.

Dex Entry-2 The new avian like form the Pokemon takes is considered an ill-omen in certain places. This has lead to this form being extremely rare in certain areas. When it exists in the same region as Magmortar it seems to increase the survival rates of both when they work together.

New moves
Evaporating Fire- (Fire) Special- 5pp- 70BP- This move does Supereffective damage to water types.

Acrobatics added to Magmar's egg moves.

Appearance- Looks like Magmar but larger with more bird-like features including large wings.

Name- comes from Magmar, and Maestro (both meaning the type of wind and an expert/artist of something)

If there were to be a regional form of Lugia, it would be Ghost/Flying, inspired by Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.

Captain Jigglypuff

*On Vacation. Go Away!*
New semi-exclusive move

Time Bomb
Psychic/Dragon/Grass/Steel
Special
180 BP
5 PP

Description: The user gathers temporal energy for two turns and then releases a huge temporal blast that causes any Pokémon that hasn’t attacked that turn to be unable to move. This move has first priority and is only out sped by moves that are guaranteed to go first such as First Impression or Extreme Speed and hits both opponent’s Pokémon in a double battle. The user ally will avoid the damage but still be affected by Time Bomb’s secondary effect. It is also unaffected by Wonder Room. After causing damage, the user sustains 1/8 of their maximum HP from recoil damage. Time Bomb’s Typing changes depending on what typing the user is and what the most effective typing is against the targets sort of like how the Judgment Plate shifted types for Judgement in Legends Arceus.

Pokémon that can learn Time Bomb: Celebi and Dialga due to how they have total control over the power of time.

Farthief'd, the Bandit Pokemon
Type-Dark/Flying
Ability-Keen Eye/Pickpocket(normal), Defiant(Hidden)
Evolution: Kantonian Farfetch'd-Steal 5 Great Leaks from other Pokemon-Farthief'd
Pokedex entry
  • "The weak avian has learned to thrive by taking from others. Farthief'd take pride in their collection of ill-gotten Great Leaks"
  • "Farthief'd look intimidating in hopes of just scaring others into giving them their food. They don't do this out of any hostility; it is a survival tactic for a once endangered species"
Basis: The counterpart to the onion knight is a thief, bandit and highwayman
Note: Farfetch'd is now naturally capable of learning Thief, at Lv 34
Great Leak-An item held by some Grass and Flying types, especially other Farfetch'd. Has no effect but can be sold for a decent amount of cash

Phantomime, the Impressionist Pokemon
Type-Psychic/Fairy
Ability-Spooky (the user's Ghost type attacks get a 50% boost)/Filter (normal), Screen Buffer (Screen-based moves do not break and ignore the effect of Screen Cleaner)

Type-Psychic/Special
Atk-80

Pokemon that can learn this-Kantonian Mr Mime (at Lv 42), some Ghost types, a number of Trickster Pokemon

Divine Retribution

Conquistador de pan
Legendary Fakemon concepts for a project I'm currently working on. These Pokemon were once worshipped in the Monselva region, based on southern Mexico (namely the states of Yucatán, Quintana Roo, Campeche, Tabasco, and Chiappas). The first four form a quadret of minor legendaries (similar to the Tapus) referred to as the Great Serpents.

I tried to get the pronunciations right, but finding reliable resources on Mayan pronunciations is not easy, so if I made any mistakes I apologize and feel free to correct me.

Ilhuicoatl (Ill-wee-kuh-wat-ll) the Sunchaser Pokemon.

Name is derived from 'ilhuicac chane', Nahuatl for 'sky dweller', and 'coatl', Nahuatl for 'serpent'.

Fire/Flying

Abilities:

Gift of the Sun - When this Pokemon is on the field, allied Flying and Fire type Pokemon deal 1.25x damage with all attacks and cannot have their Speed lowered.

Speed Boost (HA)

Base stats: 80/125/60/125/60/130 (Total: 580)

Ilhuicoatl is a massive red and orange serpent with a tan, sand-colored belly. Its body is dotted with tufts of feathers of every color of the rainbow, including a plume of long feathers extending from its adder-like head that trail behind its body as it flies. Patterns of green spirals line the entire length of its body, which glow when it uses its powers to boost its Speed. Unlike the other Great Serpents, it has the ability to fly, slithering through the sky.

Ilhuicoatl was once said to ride the winds that blow across Monselva's mountains and cloud forests. According to one legend, it eternally chases the sun across the sky, slithering across the horizon. If it were ever to catch its prey, it would signal the end of the world.

Patiacoatl (Pah-tee-ahh-kuh-wat-ll) the the Lifegiver Pokemon.
Name is derived from 'patia', Nahuatl for 'to heal another', and 'coatl', Nahuatl for 'serpent'.

Fairy/Ground

Abilities:

Gift of Life - When this Pokemon is on the field, all allied Pokemon recover 12.5% of their maximum HP per turn and cannot have their Defense or Sp. Def lowered.

Healer (HA)

Base stats: 120/60/120/100/120/60 (Total: 580)

Patiacoatl is a large, heavy snake somewhat resembling a massive python. Most of its body is a light brown mottled by a darker brown diamond pattern, however its ventral scales and the last few feet of its tail are covered in irredescent scales that gleam in pastel hues. It has four antennae-like feeler appendages protruding from its head with bulbs on the end that emit light when it uses its healing abilities.

Patiacoatl was once said to shed scales from its tail that the ancient Paqual crafted intricate charms from to ward off disease and bring good health. According to one legend, Patiacoatl would heal the sick if an offering of herbs, berries, and fresh spring water was left out for it at night.

Quiyacoatl (Kee-ahh-kuh-wat-ll) the Stormbringer Pokemon.
Name is derived from 'quiyahuitl', Nahuatl for 'rain', and 'coatl', Nahuatl for 'serpent'.

Water/Electric

Abilities:

Gift of Storms - When this Pokemon is on the field, allied Water and Electric type Pokemon deal 1.25x damage with all attacks and cannot have their Sp. Atk lowered.

Drizzle (HA)

Base stats: 100/80/85/130/85/100 (Total: 580)

Quiyacoatl is a huge viper-like snake with alternating stripes of dark and light blue on its back, and yellow ventral scales. Its tail flattens out into a fin that it uses as a rudder when swimming through the ocean. It has a brilliant yellow frill around its neck that extends when it uses its electric attacks.

Quiyacoatl was once said to swallow up huge quantities of water from the ocean, and then release it into the sky as storm clouds to bring rain to the jungles of Monselva. According to one legend, the region's impressive cenotes were once Quiyacoatl's burrows that were filled by the torrential rains it brings.

Tecuanicoatl (Tek-wah-nee-kuh-wat-ll) the Wildstalker Pokemon.
Name is derived from 'tecuanime', Nahuatl for 'vicious wild beast', and 'coatl', Nahuatl for 'serpent'.

Grass/Poison

Abilities:

Gift of the Jungle - When this Pokemon is on the field, allied Grass and Poison type Pokemon deal 1.25x damage with all attacks and cannot have their Attack lowered.

Merciless (HA)

Base stats: 100/130/85/80/85/100 (Total: 580)

Tecuanicoatl is a huge dark green cobra-like snake, very well camouflauged with jungle foliage. Leaf-like scales cover most of its body. It has a hood that deploys when attacking. Its fangs and eyes, usually a deep purple, turn jet black when it uses its most potent venom. It moves through the jungle remarkably silently for such a large creature.

Tecuanicoatl was once said to voraciously guard the jungles and wild Pokemon of Monselva. According to one legend, if one enters the jungle with darkness in their hearts, Tecuanicoatl will devour them. However, if they enter with respect, Tecuanicoatl will not harm them.

Tepeu (Teh-pay-ew), the Structure Pokemon
Name is based on a Mayan creator diety.

Flying/Fairy

Abilities:

Warden's Shield - While this Pokemon is on the field, all allied Pokemon take 0.75x damage from incoming direct attacks. If a Pokemon with Devourer's Fangs is on the opposiding side of the field, the two abilities negate each other and neither Pokemon can switch out until the other faints. This ability cannot be removed or suppressed by any means.

Filter (HA)

Base stats (Mask form): 130/100/110/100/110/50 (Total: 600)
Base stats (Unleased form): 130/70/150/120/150/80 (Total: 680)

Signature move (only usable in Unleashed form):

Wings of Edicts - Fairy - Special - 100 BP, 100% accuracy, 5/8 PP - The user unleashes a blast of negentropic energy from its crystal wings. This move leaves behind a healing mist on the user's side of the field that restores the HP of all Pokemon on that side by 1/8th of their maximum HP per turn for 3 turns. Further uses of this move will refresh that timer.

Tepeu in its Mask form takes the form of a golden mask surrounded by a fractal vortex of rainbow crystal shards. It is thought to be an avatar of the Paqual diety Pokemon of order, structure, and law. It is said that whoever gazes upon Tepeu's golden visage will be judged by it, and, if found wanting, will have their spirit melted away from their body.

In its Unleashed form, it appears as a massive, beautiful bird with long crystal feathers that gleam in many different colors (like bismuth or heat-treated titanium). A golden mask hangs on a chain around its neck. It voraciously hunts down those it sees as enemies of order, structure, and heirarchy.

Baalham (Ball-am), the Entropy Pokemon
Name is based on the Mayan jaguar diety of the underworld.

Rock/Fighting

Abilities:

Devourer's Fangs - While this Pokemon is on the field, all opposing Pokemon take 1.25x damage from direct attacks. If a Pokemon with Warden's Shield is on the opposing side of the field, the two abilities negate each other and neither Pokemon can switch out until the other faints. This ability cannot be removed for suppressed by any means.

Mold Breaker (HA)

Base stats (Mask form): 100/120/90/120/90/80
Base stats (Unleashed form): 100/160/105/80/105/130

Signature move (only usable in Unleashed form):

Claws of Chaos - Rock - Physical - 100BP, 100% accuracy, 5/8 PP - The user tears at the target with obsidian claws imbued with entropic energy. This move leaves behind a chaotic mist on the opponent's side of the field that damages all Pokemon on that side by 1/8th of their maximum HP per turn for 3 turns. Further uses of this move will refresh that timer.

Baalham in its Mask form takes on the form of a silver mask surrounded by a chaotic nebula of black and red energy. It is thought to be an avatar of the Paqual diety of chaos, freedom, and change. It is said that whoever gazes upon Baalham's visage will have their willpower tested and, if found wanting, will lose their minds and go utterly insane.

In its Unleashed form, it appears as a massive black jaguar with razor-sharp obsidian spines covering its body, crackling with red energy. A silver mask hangs on a chain around its neck. It tirelessly hunts down those it sees as corrupt and power-hungry.

Canadian goose should be a Dark/Flying type lol. I could see an Egyptian region where an Egyptian goose is a Ground/Flying type as a reference to the earth god Geb having a goose as one of a sacred animal (though maybe Ground/Flying is a better choice for a sandgrouse common bird)

Honey Smother
Type-Bug/Physical
Attack-80
Acc-100
PP-10
Description-The user submerges their opponent in cloyingly sweet honey
Effect-The opponent's speed is lowered by one stage
Pokemon that can learn this: Beedrill, Vespiquen (Lv 40), Combee (Lv 30)
Note: Like Spore this is a move that I would give to Pokemon based off bees (I think there's still room for different types of bees)

I think the Teddiursa could also be a perfect candidate for Honey Smother since it is heavily associated with Honey. It might not be a bee but the move does make sense on Teddiursa given it can have Honey Gather as a HA and does drop Dazzling Honey in LA and its Dex entries often mentions Honey.

Have been thinking about a regional variant of Cinderace that is half fighting. Not going to lie, it's the kind of thing I wish to be a thing at some point. Let GF do what everyone knows they want :p

Give the Chikorita dragon type for it's Meganium form but not pseudo legendary status...More like Flapple/Appletun stats. Early on it gets Dragon Rage. That way it would get early resistance against Falkner and Bugsy and Johto becomes less like early game nightmare unlike the past.

Meganium gets Ancient Power as a level up move at level 34 (Bayleaf usually evolves at 32) instead of egg or level 1 reminder as a extra move to so it can handle Steelix. Dragon Dance and Curse can also greatly help Meganium with its usually bad speed stat.

As I work on a relatively big fan pitch (a Johto re-remake that reinterprets the region in a way I think addresses my main criticisms about the Johto games), I'm going to take a bit of time to address how I would adjust the Johto Starters for this game. My one limitation was, as much as I wanted to, I was not going to mess around with their BST. Much as I would personally make every Starter's final form have a BST of 535 ('cause Swampert alone getting it always felt weird), for now, I'll avoid that. And due to the sheer length, I'll probably go over each Starter o nits own post. So let's start with...

Meganium

-I would finally give it Fairy as a secondary type upon evolving from Bayleef into Meganium.

-I would replace its Hidden Ability (Leaf Guard) with Natural Cure for Chikorita and Bayleef and Tirage as Meganium.

Movepool-wise, we're giving this thing an overhaul So let's start this off with its natural learnset, then I'll go into TM additions (using Generation IX's TMs as a basis) and new Egg Moves.

* New Move

For its TM learnset? I would, of course, give it access to obvious moves such as Trailblaze and, to reflect its expanded learnset, Play Rough and Earth Power. Additionally, the entire Chikorita line would get Pollen Puff, Disarming Voice and Draining Kiss, while Meganium would get access to Dazzling Gleam, Dragon Tail and Misty Terrain.

Egg Move-wise? I'd give it access to Floral Healing, Power Whip and Moonbeam. The overall intention is to not takeaway Meganium's utility as both a physically or specially-inclined wall, with a customisable moveset with incredible STAB options for whichever offensive stat is higher, while giving it moves like Strength Sap to help capitalise on its Hidden Ability.

And lastly in terms of my modifications is one buff that it'll be sharing with all the Johto Starters: Mega Evolution. It's a mechanic I would love to see the franchise resurrect, and I do actually have plans to tie it in better with Johto's story and lore with my rewrite (to fit it into the "Infinity Timeline") as well as the character development of certain Trainers you meet along the way. Mega Meganium is designed to further play into its "White Mage" role and expanded healing utility, as well as its traditional role as a defensive wall.
