I actually used to think that ice should be weak to water. Fire melts it more faster anyway, so I think it kinda makes sense on why ice would be neutral to water while it's weak to fire. I used to think that bug should be weak to water as well. Same concept.

Yeah, it's a good middle ground. However, the more I think about it, Water-types do have good coverage against Grass and Dragon with the Ice-type attacks they have at their disposal, leaving only their own type as an actual resistance. I guess Ice could help alleviate this problem should it resist Water. I'm on board now lol

Some Ice Pokemon can learn electric moves and Freeze-Dry as well. A few of them can also learn grass moves like Grass Knot.

Reversal Youkai
Komiyo (Shikomi/Hangyoku)
(Normal/Psychic)
Species: Servant Pokémon
Ability: Undaunted - Halves the damage done by moves strong against Psychic-types.
Hidden Ability: Sacred Power - Doubles Sp. Attack stat.
Gender Ratio: Female only
Egg Groups: Human-Like, Amorphous
Height: 3’7"

*If this Pokémon’s ability is Undaunted, Bug and Dark is 1x effective.

Pokédex Entry 1: Komiyo look up to their older sisters. They watch their siblings’ artful dances and melancholy songs; emulating them to earn their place in the Flower and Willow World.

Pokédex Entry 2: Komiyo can only migrate to the Flower and Willow World once they master artful dances and melancholy songs. For now, they serve their older sisters with pride.

Concept: Shikomi

Signature Move(s): Sparrow Dance

Sparrow Dance
Type: Flying
Category: Status
Power: —
Accuracy: —%
PP: 5
Effect: Sparrow Dance drastically raises the user’s Defense, Sp. Attack, Sp. Defense, and Speed stats.

Isn't that move way too strong? It's a buffed Geomancy with no charge turn.

Since we're on the subject of type improvements, Psychic is really, REALLY bad. Two of its weaknesses gained significant buffs this past generation, Knock Off is a must on almost every team and the Flying-type does a much better job at handling Fighting-types than Psychic does. Probably one of the worst defensive types as well as being a supremely below average attacking type, the type itself is really a hindrance on dual Psychic-typed Pokémon, and the Fairy-type outclasses it. Here are some ways GF could improve it:

Mind-Altering Moves
-Psychic-types are now immune to becoming confused, encored, taunted or tormented. They still gain stat increases from Swagger or Flatter, however.

This allows the Psychic-type to gain a niche within the metagame. Now that it is outclassed by Fairies, this will help differentiate it entirely, and would most likely help the type garner more attention (because who doesn't want an anti-taunt Pokémon on a team nowadays?). If we're going to go with the logical side of things, it also makes sense in this format. Psychic-types are supposed to be the 'smarties' of all the types. So, why would they be so easily tricked? Overall, this is an immunity not unlike the ones granted to Ghost-types (trapping moves) and Grass-types (spore and powder related moves) this past generation, and would be really beneficial to the once dominant Psychic-type.

Psychic Priority Move
Premonition
Type: Psychic
Category: Special
Power: 40
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 30
Effect: Premonition inflicts damage. If its target attacks the user the turn Premonition is used, Premonition's power doubles and will deal damage before the target attacks.

Because many Fighting-types have Knock Off as a means of destroying their Psychic-type enemies, this move would be useful in helping alleviate this issue. It also gives Psychic-type Pokémon a useful STAB priority attack in a meta where priority attacks are everywhere.

Psychic Freeze-Dry
Distortion Wave
Type: Psychic
Category: Special
Power: 75
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 20
Effect: Distortion Wave deals damage and is super effective on Steel-type Pokémon.

If you look around forums on how to improve the Psychic-type, others have noted that Steel should no longer resist the Psychic-type. "If Ghost and Dark are no longer resisted, why should Psychic remain resisted?" While I don't disagree with this logic, I don't think it's necessary. Ice-types are resisted by Water, but GF decided to give them Freeze-Dry, albeit sparingly. Many Psychic-types have Focus Blast to deal with Steel-types, but are subjected to non-STAB and a glaring accuracy problem. Distortion Wave would help fix this.

Distortion Wave isn't as weak as Freeze-Dry because it doesn't have a secondary effect, and an additional plus is that it is almost as strong as Psyshock; potentially replacing Psyshock on Pokémon who need the Steel coverage (Psychic/Fairy, Psychic/Ice, Psychic/Rock). A downside is that it isn't as strong as Focus Miss even with STAB, but the 100% accuracy definitely makes up for that.

Type Effectiveness With Distortion Wave
2x: Fighting, Poison, Steel
0x: Dark
.5x: Psychic

Steel Dual-Type Chart With Distortion Wave
Steel/(Insert Secondary Type Here)
4x: Fighting, Poison
2x: Bug, Dragon, Electric, Fairy, Fire, Flying, Ghost, Grass, Ground, Ice, Normal, Rock, Water
1x: Psychic
0x: Dark

Isn't that move way too strong? It's a buffed Geomancy with no charge turn.

Well, it's a signature move, so the only other Pokémon that could ever use it would be Smeargle. Also, look at Kyosha's stats. The total base stat is 380, and it has terrible Defense, Sp. Defense and Speed stats; enough that it would most likely be OHKOd before even getting to use Sparrow Dance.

Dragon Pokemon fan
Erase fairy type from existence as it is a utterly pointless type. Xerneas and the others who were pure fairy would be normal.
The end of mythical pokemon - they can give out shiny versions or special moves as events.
Erase ORAS games and replace with Delta Emerald.
Platinum remake which is called Distorted Platinum. Arceus features in postgame.
Yellow remake which is named Shocking Yellow. Mew is in the post game. You can choose Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and Pikachu as starters.

Britonoir, Arthragon and Avalord, the Guardian Dragon Pokemon
Type-Dragon/Steel
Ability-Justified
Egg group-Dragon
BST-600
Evolution: Britonoir-Lv 38-Arthragon-Lv Up with Sacred Sword-Avalord
Basis-This Pokemon is based on the idea of a knight, however with a twist. It is a dragon and knight merged into one. It is the Southern Kalos' psuedo-legendary

Cofagrigus(Restored Forme)
Type-Ghost/Normal
Ability-Phantom Curse(has a chance of changing the Pokemon's type into a Ghost, much like Forest' Curse)
BST-Unchanged, however stat distribution is different. Restored Cofagrigus is fast and lithe instead of bulky and slow
Basis-Cofagrgius is based more off the mummy in its Restored Forme. It's Normal type comes from having formerly been human

Kalos Keldeo-In order to increase the number of legendaries available, Keldeo is available in-game for once in Z. However, it requires, much like Regigigas, the three other musketeers to obtain it

Mythical Events: For one week a year, surrounding holidays, an event Pokemon is released
* Halloween Darkrai: This Darkrai has the OT of Samhain, and is released on the week of Halloween. It has the moves Nightmare, Dark Void, Crunch and Dream Eater
* Earth Day Shaymin: Released on Earth Day, this Shaymin has the OT of Terra
* Indepedence Victini: On July 4 and the week invovled in it, get yourself a Victini to celebrate the birth of the American nation! There is a special, shiny Victini released to anyone who happens to be in New York(aka Unova)

Restored Forme: Restored Forme is similar to a Primal Evolution, however doesn't boost power. Instead, it requires a key item-the Primal Key. This Primal Key can restore Pokemon to their original, ancient forms. It is regarded as the predessecor to Primal Reversion. Pokemon with a Restored Forme include all fossils(and uniquely, Mega Aerodactyl is the only mega with a form difference), the Regi family, Porygon-Z(instead of returning to an ancient form, it becomes the original plan since the Dubious Disc is a glitched evo), Claydol, Bronzong, Darmanitan, Sigilyph, Golurk and Genesect

Mega Avalugg
Type-Ice/Steel
Ability-Sturdy
Item-Avaluggite

Items:

Counter Robe
Effect: Makes user immune to a foe's attack provided he chooses an attack that is "Super effective" on foe's attack. (regardless of speed/priority) [consumable]
example: If Gengar selects Focus Blast while Bisharp uses Sucker Punch, the Counter Robe makes Gengar immune to Sucker Punch.

Shift Key
Effect: Removes STAB bonus, but gives 50% boost to all other moves.

Abilities

Double-Edged: Will always attack foe's weaker defense regardless of the attack, but in return the foe always attacks your weaker defense too.

Escapologist: Gives +1 priority to moves that make the user switch (U-turn, Volt Switch, Baton Pass..etc)

Vaccine: Status conditions and certain other moves give you immunity;
Burned: Immunity to fire-typed moves.
Frozen: Immunity to ice-typed moves.
Paralyzed: Immunity to electric-typed moves
Poisoned: Immunity to poison-typed moves.
Cursed: Immunity to ghost-typed moves.
Leech Seed: Immunity to grass-typed attacks while still seeded.
Whirlpool/Fire Spin..etc: Immunity to the respective type while still being trapped.

I do realize vaccines work differently, but I thought it would be more interesting if it gave you an immunity only when you're afflicted with something. Perhaps a name change could be suitable, but can't think of anything outside vaccine.
