Fairy
Classification: Original Pokémon
Height: 8" (0.2 m)
Weight: 0.01 lbs. (0.004 kg)

Dex Entry 1: This Pokémon is said to have existed since before time itself. Ancient myths referred to it as the “Mother of Arceus.” However, only two of such myths have been found in the entire world.
Dex Entry 2: Despite ancient myths claiming this Pokémon to be Arceus’ “mother,” none such myths exist in Sinnoh. In fact, no one in Sinnoh’s history has ever heard of this Pokémon.

Appearance: A very small white sphere with a small pair of white wings growing out the back. A pair of closed eyes rest on the front of its spherical body. Its entire body glows intensely, with the color of the glow changing periodically.
Etymology: Khulud literally means ‘immortality’ in Arabic.

Ability: Stigmata – Damage done to this Pokémon is also done to the attacker.
- Additional Info: 1/4th of the damage inflicted on a Pokémon with this ability is immediately inflicted on the Pokémon that dealt the attack. Fairy
Classification: Original Pokémon
Height: 61' (18.59 m)
Weight: ??? lbs. (??? kg)
Gender: Genderless

Dex Entry 1: This forme marks the first official recording of this Pokémon. Some are considering it to be its true form. It is far too dangerous to conduct research, however.
Dex Entry 2: The blinding light emitting from this being is causing many to bow in fear! No one can withstand its presence. Perhaps it truly is the Mother of Arceus!

Appearance: In this form, Khulud appears in a massive angel-like form, similar to that of a marble statue. It now has two pairs of large wings protruding from its back, but they are still immobile. It now has a full visible face, though its eyes remain closed. Its glow is now more intense than before, but continues to change color periodically.

Pokedex entry-"The Magma Orb channels the primal power of the Earth's geothermal magma into Heatran. Essentially a living volcano, it gains drastic power at the cost of being rooted to the ground

Given Legendaries/other Pokemon more/better abilities

  • Gastly line: Poison Touch(being they are literally manifestations of poison gas)
  • Kantonian Articuno: Snow Warning(a number of entries have it mentioned to creating blizzards/coldness in the air)
  • Kantonian Zapdos: Electric Surge(oft mentioned that it creates thunderstorms)
  • Kantonian Moltres: Drought(again, Pokedex entry)
  • Mewtwo: Intimidate(it feels more appropriate than Pressure, and Mewtwo is certainly intimidating)
  • Mew: Protean(I think it'd be a great Hidden Ability, and would be a special, rare Mew in rather limited events you can boast having)
  • Mareep line: Fluffy(second ability, and well given its wool it seems appropriate)
  • Misdreavus line: Prankster, Intimidate, and/or a sound-boosting move(given its personality and history)
  • Legendary beasts: Just make their old Hidden Abilities their main abilities
  • Lugia: Basically an ability for the Strong Winds effect I mentioned before
  • Celebi: Grass Surge as a hidden ability, what with their spirit of the forest aesthetic
  • Vibrava and Flygon: Sand Stream (secondary ability. Dex entries mention it being able to kick up a dust storm, being the Desert Spirit, ect)
  • Baltoy line: Own Tempo(secondary ability, but I never got why it has Levitate. Since its a spinning Pokemon, I feel it makes sense it would have some sort of protection against confusion)
  • Registeel: Armored Body(secondary ability, halves the damage taken by Fighting type moves. Reflects dex entries on it having a super tough steel body)
  • Regice: Heatproof(secondary ability, reflects dex entries saying it cannot be melted due to how cold it is)
  • Regirock: Regenerator(secondary ability, reflects dex entries saying how it can heal itself)
  • Eon Duo: Illusion(Hidden Ability. They can disguise themselves as different forms by bending light, after all)
  • Kyogre: Aqua Aura(Hidden Ability. Aura related to boosting Water type attacks)
  • Groudon: Land Aura(Hidden Ability. Aura related to boosting Ground type attacks)
  • Rayquaza: Basically just make Delta Stream its Hidden Ability
  • Cranidos line: Rock Head(Mold Breaker's good, but this makes way more sense as an ability)
  • Shieldon line: Armored Body(it is a walking shield/fortress)
  • Spiritomb: Dark Aura(sure its Yveltal's signature, but who says it has to be consigned to it. Spiritomb is an amalgam of malevolent spirits...sounds pretty dark to me and a good secondary ability)
  • Carnivine: Flycatcher(Bug type moves are directed to the user, who is healed instead of taking damage. Basically a Lightningrod for Bug types)
  • Lake Trio: Clear Spirit(secondary effects will not affect the user or their ally. So if they are on your side, they and their partner in a double/triple battle will be immune to cursing, infatuation and confusion)
  • Regigigas: Brawny(Fighting type moves are boosted in power by 50%)
  • Cresselia: Sweet Dreams(the user and their ally become immune to any damage while asleep, at the cost of not being able to use Snore, Sleep Talk or Rest when a Pokemon with Sweet Dreams is on the field)
  • Phione: Drizzle(just to give the thing something to match up to its parent)
  • Shaymin: Detoxify(Hidden Ability. The user draws Poison type moves/poisoning-afflicting moves to it, but doesn't take damage/get poisoned)
  • Cryogonal: Slush Rush and Snow Cloak(I mean it's living ice)
  • Genesect: Mega Cannon. Hidden ability. Like Mega Launcher, but boosts "beam" moves like Hyper Beam, Ice Beam, and of course its signature of Techno Blast.
  • Honedge and Doublade: Sharpened Blade. Boosts the power of sword and blade-oriented moves
  • Diancie: Sturdy as a Hidden Ability. Ties into its weaker sibling, Carbink
  • Volcanion: Steam Engine. Pretty sure if the ability existed back in Gen V, Volcanion would definitely get this
  • Type: Null and Silvally-Protean as a Hidden Ability
  • Eternatus: Ruination. Drops the dominant defensive stat of whatever Pokemon enters the battle
Other Ideas

Trainer Class: Impressionist. Utilizes Pokemon with copying moves like Mimic and Mirror Move, copying abilities like Trace. Like to use Ditto(Transform), Sudowoodo(pretending to be a tree), Voltorb and Foongus lines(pretending to be Pokeballs), Zorua line(Illusion), Smeargle

Changing Johto Gym Leaders to be inclusive to more, well, Johto Pokemon(what I feel should've been there in Gen II)
  • Falkner: Pidgey, Noctowl
  • Bugsy: Ledyba, Spinarak, Scyther
  • Whitney: Dunsparce, Miltank
  • Morty: Gastly, Misdreavus, Haunter, Gengar(thus all the Ghost types available in Gen II)
  • Chuck: Poliwrath, Heracross
  • Jasmine: Magnemite, Fortress, Steelix
  • Pryce: Sneasel, Dewgong, Piloswine

Changing Kanto Gym Leaders and the Elite 4 for Let's Go, had they included cross-gen Kanto evolutions into the Dex (would increase the available to 185)
  • Brock(rematch): Steelix, Kabutops, Aerodactyl, Omastar, Kantonian Golem
  • Misty(rematch): Golduck, Dewgong, Politoed, Starmie, Gyarados
  • Lt.Surge(rematch): Kantonian Raichu, Alolan Raichu, Magnezone, Electivire, Electrode(his regional variant is to reflect him being the Lightning American, and Alola being based off a U.S state)
  • Erika(first fight): Tangela, Bellossom, Vileplume
  • Erika(rematch): Tangrowth, Bellossom, Vileplume, Exeggutor, Leafeon
  • Koga(first fight): Weezing, Muk, Crobat, Venomoth
  • Koga(rematch): Weezing, Muk, Crobat, Venomoth, Tentacruel
  • Erika(rematch): Mr Mime, Slowbro, Slowking, Jynx, Alakazam
  • Blaine(first fight): Magmortar, Rapidash, Ninetales, Arcanine
  • Blaine(second fight): Magmortar, Rapidash, Ninetales, Arcanine, Rhyperior(consider this a nod to his anime Rhydon)
  • Giovanni(gym battle): Dugtrio, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Rhyperior
  • Lorelei(first fight): Dewgong, Jynx, Glaceon, Slowbro, Lapras
  • Lorelei(rematch): Alolan Sandslash, Glaceon, Jynx, Mega Slowbro, Lapras, Cloyster
  • Bruno(rematch): Mega Steelix, Hitmotop, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Alolan Golem, Machamp
  • Agatha(first fight): Crobat, Arbok, Weezing, 2 Gengar
  • Agatha(rematch): Crobat, Arbok, Weezing, Gengar, Mega Gengar, Alolan Marowak
  • Lance(first fight): Kingdra, Mega Aerodactyl, Gyarados, Charizard, Dragonite
  • Lance(second fight): Kingdra, Gyarados, Dragonite, Alolan Exeggutor, Aerodactyl, Mega Charizard X

Abilities: Bulletproof, Scent Expert (HA) -> negates 2 levels of Evasion

Unovan Roserade
Type- Dark/Ice
Evolves from Regular Roselia in Unova with an Ice Stone.
Abilities- Slush Rush/Poison Heal
Hidden ability- Masquerade

Stats -same as regular Roserade

Moves (not counting those it can learn as Roselia)
- Nasty Plot
- Toxic Snow
- Foul Play
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Fatal Strike
- Teeter Dance
- Sneak
- Mimic
- Sucker Punch

New moves
Toxic Snow-(Ice-Special)- 70BP- 10PP- Accuracy- 90% - Has a 5% chance of poisoning and a 5% chance of badly poisoning (does not stack).
Fatal Strike- (Dark-Physical) OHKO move-1PP (cannot be increased) - Accuracy 50% but if the move misses, the target uses protect (or similar like detect), Is in a semi invulnerable stage(like the first turn of fly) the target has the ability sturdy, or the target is a dark type then the move will fail and then the user's defence and special defence stat lowered by 2 stages and cannot switch out for 3 turns). (PP cannot be restored until battle concluded)

New ability- Masquerade- As long as this Pokemon has maximum HP when it switches in it will appear like a random Pokemon in its trainers party. (fails in the wild) If its HP drops or if it gets a status condition this will fade away.

Dex entry 1- After a mysterious snowstorm that was supposedly caused by Kyurem the Roserade in the Unova region the Roselia in the unova region now evolve into this mysterious form for unknown reasons. It uses its Dark tactics to deceive its enemies and is said to be able to appear as other Pokemon until it is too late.

Dex Entry 2- While they are no longer poison types many still use poison to heal themselves or to cruelly punish their enemies. It is seen however they prefer to freeze their targets and seem to enjoy doing so. For dangerous foes they have a instantly fatal attack.

Appearance- Resemble regular Roserade but the green parts of its body become white except its mask. The roses are now made of Ice and its mask is now blue and resembles Brycen's mask.

Note- This is a new signature Pokemon for Brycen. Brycen's gym battle is now 4 Pokemon instead of 3. (rest of pokemon unchanged )

Pokemon Alternate History

Similar to my prior post, this is my take on if Pokemon went in different directions. Here, I wonder; what if instead of being unique and Black and White only having new Pokemon in its main dex, it didn't introduce as many new Pokemon and instead had old Pokemon filling the role. It also plays on the idea of using regional variants two generations earlier. I also have the idea of OG Black and White having a cool 200 non-mythical Pokemon
  • Patrat line: Replaced by Rattata line(they're generic rats so they would still be at home), but they're Poison/Normal because of pollution and living in sewers
  • Elemental monkeys: Replaced by the Kanto Starters, doing a Gen 6
  • Woobat line: Replaced by the Zubat line, however they become Dark or Ghost/Flying type and take inspiration from vampire bats(Golbat already has mentions of blood drinking)
  • Throh and Sawk: Replaced by the Tyrogue line
  • Klink line: Replaced by the Magnemite line
  • Basculin: Replaced by Magikarp/Gyarados in one version, Feebas/Milotic in another. To make things easier the Prism Scale just needs to be held by a Max Friendship Feebas to evolve it
  • Maractus: Replaced by Cacnea and Cacturne, who become Grass/Water to reflect the water retention and seeking out cacti in the desert for hydration
  • Gothita line: Replaced by a goth Dark type(Dark/Fairy in Gen 6 and beyond) Ralts line
  • Solosis line: Replaced by a more combat-capable Fighting/Psychic type Abra line
  • Pikachu would of course be there along with Emolga
  • Luvdisc would evolve into Alomonola
  • Cubchoo and Beartic would become an Ice/Normal regional variant for the Teddiursa line, filling a similar purpose
  • Bouffalant would be replaced by Miltank and Tauros
I also have an idea of if from the start Pokemon was more willing to have pure or primary type Flying
  • Pidgey and Spearow: Pure Flying(serves as more of an introduction to the type)
  • Hoppip line: Flying/Grass(it's always depicted as super light and floating in the wind)
  • Yanma line: Flying/Bug(Flying as a primary type because it's a dragonfly after all)
  • Swablu: Flying
  • Altaria: Flying/Dragon(it's kind of a living cloud, as is Swablu, so I feel Flying works as a primary typing more)
  • Rayquaza: Flying/Dragon(its basically the embodiment of the sky/atmosphere)
  • Drifloon line: Flying/Ghost(as a balloon it feels more perpetually afloat)
  • Sigilyph: Flying/Psychic(partly distinguishing it from the Woobat combo)
  • Thundurus: Flying/Electric(it and Landorus, this is to reflect its status as a storm elemental of sorts)
  • Landorus: Flying/Ground

Regional Variant

Levaeli Fennekin, Braixen and Foxhaust(the Exothermic Pokemon)
Type-Ground/Fire
Ability-Sand Rush(Fennekin), Snow Cloak(Braixen), Cold Shoulder(Foxhaust), Drought(Hidden). Cold Shoulder is an Ice-type Steelworker; Ice type moves get a 50% boost in power
Evolution: Fennekin-Lv 22-Braixen-Ice Stone-Foxhaust
Basis: This variant of Fennekin for the Levaeli(basically my idea for a region based on the Levant) region reflects both the desert environment the fennec fox tends to live in, and its ability to deal with heat using those big ears. Hence the final form being the "Exothermic" Pokemon. While counter-intuitive, the Ice Stone evolution is based on the lore behind this Pokemon and needing to regulate its temperature. This is also why Levaeli Braixen and Foxhaust are capable of learning a number of Ice type moves. The increased time to evolve a Fennekin here reflects the lore of the Pokemon
Pokedex entry
  • Levaeli Fennekin: "The tough deserts of the Levaeli region have bred an equally tough new variant of Fennekin. To prevent overheating, they vent fire from their ears"
  • Levaeli Braixen: "The external heat and dryness of the Levaeli desert seem to have hindered Braixen's development; they're more active during the cold nights and are fond of ice. To compensate for being weaker than their Kalosian cousins, Levaeli Braixen wield flaming torches made of sticks and twigs"
  • Foxhaust: "The Ice Stone used to get a Foxhaust now acts as a temperature regulator to keep Foxhaust from overheating itself. It's equally celebrated for bringing warmth in the night and relief from the sun during the day"

Wonder Guard

Immorsine and Orbugber, the Indestructible and Astronaut Pokemon
Name basis: Immortality+ursine, Orbital+bug+bear
Type-Bug/Water(Immorsine), Bug/Steel(Orbugber)
Ability-Wonder Guard(Immorsine), Flash Fire(Orbugber)
Gender ratio-50/50
Egg group-Bug/Water 3
Evolution: Lv 40+ Immorsine-Trade holding a Metal Coat-Orbugber
BST
  • Immorsine: 150 HP, 20 Atk, 20 Def, 20 Sp. Atk, 20 Sp.Def, 20 Speed
  • Orbugber: 60 HP, 100 Atk, 60 Def, 100 Sp. Atk, 60 Sp Def, 150 Speed
Pokedex entry:
  • "Immorsine's endurance allows them to survive in virtually any environment, some even observed living in orbit and feeding on meteor dust. Space programs hope that Immorsine can be used to explore other celestial bodies"
  • "The hide of an Orbugber allows them to endure the heat of re-entry without so much of a scorch mark. A colony of Orbugber are currently stationed on the Moon to study it, and a second colony will hopefully reach Mars within the next decade"
Basis: Immorsine is based off the tardigrade, or water bear. Because of their incredible endurance, it has the ability Wonder Guard but to balance it out most of its stats are small. Its evolution trades that off for being able to deal proper hits but also has an Eelektross "no-weakness" (in-universe, it's justified by it being an astronaut/spaceship capable of re-entry and the heat that entails).

Mega Shedinja
Type-Bug/Ghost
Ability-Wonder Shield(the user will only take damage from a direct, super-effective move. Indirect/field damage, regardless of type, will have no effect)
BST: 1 HP, 114 Atk, 1 Def, 90 Sp Atk, 1 Sp Def, 129 Speed
Basis: Basically this is a buffed Wonder Guard where only a physical/special move of one of the user's type weaknesses will take it out

16- Pluck
22- Taunt
24- Body Slam
28- Agility
32- Drill Peck
36- Acrobatics
42- Swagger
50- Brave Bird

New ability- Prime Wing- When this Pokemon uses a damaging move it will only use the targets primary type when calculating damage (for example if an attack used against Rock/Grass type it would be treated as a targeting a pure Rock Type but if used against a Grass/Rock type it would be treated as a Pure Grass type)

Dex Entry 1- When raised in Kanto it has been seen that that they evolve into this form. Scientists speculate this is due to the lack of heavy metals in its diet. They are agile and deadly and would be very dangerous to local species if they were to become wild.

Dex Entry 2- Their lack of Armour seems to have made them more aggressive but they retain their sense of honour. They seem to choose prefer fair combat and avoid giving themselves too much of an advantage

Early Game Reptile Bois

Fauxans and Impostabok, the False Poison and Non-Venomous Pokemon
Name basis: Faux+Ekans, Imposter+Arbok
Type-Normal/Dark
Ability-Intimidate/Shed Skin(normal), Limber(Hidden)
Gender ratio-50/50
Egg group-Field
Evolution: Fauxans-Lv 19-Impostabok
Pokedex entry
  • Fauxans: "To many Pokemon, Fauxans looks like some sort of Ekans variant and that's exactly what it wants to be. In reality its fangs produce a harmless milk to feed its young"
  • Impostabok: "The two-faced Impostabok can pull an excellent impression of the fearsome Arbok, complete with some purple scales and a fake hood. If someone manages to look past this facade, it will retreat like a coward"
Basis: This line is based off the milk snake, which resembles a deadly poisonous snake. In this case, it mimics the Ekans line and is found in regions with Ekans. The Dark typing comes from their deception as something more fearsome. Imposatabok mimics Arbok by wearing a cape. Being a milk snake, it is one of few people to know Milk Drink

Igerarbok, the Serpent Pokemon
Name basis: Cobra+regi backwards
Type-Poison/Dragon
Ability-Intimidate/Shed Skin(normal), Unnerve(Hidden)
Evolution: Ekans-Lv 22-Arbok-Poison Stone-Igerarbok
Basis: The king cobra, and a natural next step for the Ekans line. The Dragon typing comes from its egg group and a sense of royalty

Saphorn, Tearzad and Oculaptile, the Upset, Crying and Tearful Pokemon
Name basis: Sappy+horn, Tear+lizard, Ocular+reptile
Type-Poison/Normal
Ability-Irritant(normal), Hustle(Saphorn, Tearzad), Rough Skin(Oculaptile), Poison Point(Hidden). Irritant lowers the opponent's accuracy by one stage when the user enters the battle
Gender ratio-50/50
Egg group-Field
Evolution: Saphorn-Lv 18-Tearzad-Poison Stone-Oculaptile
Pokedex entry
  • Saphorn: "These weak Saphorn are prone to crying and being overly sensitive. This is mainly used to get predators to pity it and leave them alone"
  • Tearzad: "The tear ducts of the Tearzad are directly connected to its venom sacs. It fires its tears to blind and poison foes"
  • Oculaptile: "Within the blink of an eye the venomous tears of an Oculaptile have already blinded and poisoned their foe. Even bypassing this will have the predator harmed by its thorny skin"
Basis: The Saphorn line are horned lizards who serve as an early game Pokemon, and an introduction to the Poison type(hence the Normal; it's a normal/standard animal). The theme on tears and poison reflects the defense mechanism of many horned lizards; squirting blood from their eyes. To be more child-friendly, this is reflected in tears that grow into a purple poison

Some Pokédex Entries:

#427h-1 - Hisuian Buneary: Sadly, a large number of Buneary are taken out of the world on a tender age, thanks to greedy industries using its fur and skin for making products. Many of them refuse to accept their fate and possess a Buneary doll to try to live its normal life.

#427h-2 - Hisuian Buneary: It is very lonely, since a lot of people are afraid of it for the fact it is a doll-possesing ghost. They wander through the woods trying to find someone who accepts it, which commonly succeeds.

#428h1 - Hisuian Lopunny: During evolution, the soul and the doll it is possesed became linked. It does anything trying to please its trainer, so it doesn't get released into the wild again.

#428h2 - Hisuian Lopunny: Since Hisuian Lopunny is in a state of life and death simultaneously, she is plagued with headaches because of its unstable status. However, when it is powered by the affection of its trainer, those headaches go away instantly.

#M-428h1 - Hisuian M-Lopunny: It remembers all its time as a Buneary when Mega Evolved, and the bigger the fear it feels from those disturbing flashbacks when it Mega Evolves at the first time, the bigger its power.

#M-428h2 - Hisuian M-Lopunny: After some experience with Mega Evolving, this Pokémon loses the fear of the terrifying reminders of its alive time, but focuses on only one goal: make its trainer proud. It has been registered that this Pokémon saved a ship from sinking to and almost died, only to save its beloved trainer.

Regions and Other Ideas

The Yokatochi Region: The Yokatochi Region is another region based off a Japanese region. In its case, the Tohoku Region. It is the very region that the Sinjoh Ruins are located in. Routes follow the 3xx numbering scheme. The Pokemon and region has a heavy youkai/old legends. The name mixes Yokai and Tochi, aka Land

The Miraguya Region: The Miraguya Region is from a different game from the regular core series, more in lines of open exploration like Pokemon Legends: Arceus except set in the more recent past(detailing the story of and how Mew was obtained in order to create Mewtwo). While a spin-off game it has new Pokemon first attainable here, and the main event is finding Mew. The region is meant to represent Guyana, with the name adapting Mirage

The Uscancaje Region: The Region is a U.S region based on the R2 or Rocky Mountains, consisting of Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, and most of Wyoming and South Dakota. We have seen a glimpse of it; the you can go to from a plane in BW2 as the Nature Preserve. This turns out to be part of one of the area's many wild areas. Most trips from town to town in this massive region involve train rides due to the area's size, with the routes being around cities and towards train stops. The name is derived from Cinco, or five, U.S.A, and salvaje, meaning wild, keeping with Unova's own nomenclature.

Team Recon: Team Recon is an evil team which is a business-oriented group that started in Yokatochi. Publicly they're well-known for their corporation with different companies and are important figures in shipping and research. Privately they are involved in many shady affairs, and are interested in Infinite Energy research. They tend to target more mystical Pokemon for research, and utilize Fighting, Psychic and Fairy types as part of good PR instead of your standard Dark and Poison type grunts. Team Recon is a successor company to Recon Enterprises, which funded the trip to the Miraguya Region. However around the same time Mewtwo's creation was funded Recon Enterprises was bought out by the burgeoning Silph Co. It's heavily implied that Team Rocket had a connection in Team Recon's history, but different reports are given(Team Rocket was a criminal splinter group/remnant of the original Recon Enterprises, after Team Rocket disbanded many of its members joined Team Recon, Team Rocket's disbanding gave them the power vacuum needed to form). Team Recon formed between five years after the original Gen I/III games. Recon Enterprises started as a small local company shortly before Professor Oak became a Pokemon trainer, and reached its height 20 years before Gen I, before dissolving shortly after Mewtwo's creation but before it escaped. Unlike most evil teams you cannot cause them to disband, at least in one game, and they do rebound like your classic corrupt corporation, but you do encourage them to behave and give up on their current evil scheme. The current head of Team Recon is Recon CEO Indigo. Her full name is Indigo Oak; he's Blue's father.

Here are my new abilities, along with demonstration of prior abilities I came up with

Counterparts to Intimidate
  • Irritant: The accuracy of the opponent drops by one stage when brought out(ie the irritant makes it hard for the opponent to focus)
  • Weakling: The physical defense of the opponent drops by one stage when brought out(ie the opponent thinks their foe is weak so they lower their defense)
  • Pity Party: The special attack of the opponent drops by one stage when brought out(ie the opponent feels bad for their foe so they lower their special attack)
  • Targeting: The special defense of the opponent drops by one stage when brought out(ie the user targets the harder to find, non-physical nature that is special defense)
  • Molasses: The speed of the opponent drops by one stage when brought out(ie slow as molasses)

Here's a Grass/Fire type idea I've had for a while that I've decided to refine

Stikiber, Pyrimber and Xylorchug, the Flammable Pokemon
Name basis: Stick+ember, Timber+pyro, Xylem+torch+bug
Type-Grass/Bug(Unlit Forme), Grass/Fire(Lit Forme)
Ability-Incendiary. Incendiary allows the user to transform from an Unlit to Lit Forme if hit by a Fire type attack or if they have a burn. The ability cannot be copied by Trace, and it cannot be removed or suppressed by another ability or move
Form change: The Unlit and Lit Forme are "flammable" Pokemon. A Pokemon in their Unlit Forme will not take damage if hit by a Fire type attack, and will transform to their Lit Forme. If a Pokemon in their Unlit Forme gets a burn, they will transform to their Lit Forme. In the Lit Forme the user immediately is cured of a burn if they have one, and cannot be harmed by Fire type attacks. A Lit Forme changes their secondary typing to Fire type, or adds one if they lacked a secondary typing beforehand.
Evolution: Stikiber-Lv 22-Pyrimber-Lv 35-Xylorchug
Signature move: Combust. Combust is a Fire/Status defensive move that functions like Protect, but it also transforms the user into their Lit Forme. If used by a Pokemon without Incendiary, the move will fail.
Pokedex entry
  • Unlit Stikiber: "Stikiber pretend to be an extension of whatever tree or shrub they live in so nobody goes after it. It is deeply fearful of Flying type Pokemon"
  • Lit Stikiber: "The lanky Stikiber has a unique biology among Bug types; it is capable of incorporating fire into its body. This is a handy tool it uses against predators"
  • Unlit Pyrimber: "The body of a Pyrimber looks like multiple Stikiber combined into one cohesive unit. This illusion is so its foes feel a lot more wary going after the Pokemon"
  • Lit Pyrimber: "Pyrimber are friendly to humans and light themselves up as living campfires. Surprisingly they actually enjoy being on fire more than not, thanks to a pleasing chemical they secrete when exposed to intense heat"
  • Unlit Xylorchug: "Xylorchug are like a mighty tree trunk, and are capable of impersonating trees with just a handful of foilage. They have the strength to smash through fortresses with the force of ton of TNT
  • Lit Xylorchug: "Few things are as terrifying to residents of a forest than the walking, breathing, 10 foot torch of a flaming Xylorchug. And nothing is more relieving for a hiker lost at nighttime than a torch that can be seen for miles"
Basis: This Pokemon is a mix between a stick insect and firewood. Stikiber is a stick, Pyrimber becomes a bundle and Xylorchug is a mighty log of wood

Modifying an existing trainer to make them more memorable

Trainer- Glacia
Position- still a member of the Hoenn Elite 4

New Role
Glacia is now confirmed to be the owner of the Weather institute. She turns up at the weather institute shortly after you remove Team Aqua/Team Magma surprised they had been removed as she'd arrived to get rid of them. She gives you the gift Castform.

battlefield change- Her battlefield is now considered to be a Snow battlefield and thus enables transformation into ice type with Camouflage. (wasn't originally possible as it was in gen 3 but there would be a reason to program it into the game if connected to an elite 4.)

New team (ruby/sapphire/emerald)

Glalie- Hail, Ice Beam, Light Screen, Crunch (level 52)
Starmie-Camouflage (if they can program in Snow battlefield and changes to camouflage if this can't be done then move would be Surf). Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Psychic (level 50)
Sealeo- Hail, Blizzard, Surf, Attract (level 51)
Castform- Hail, Blizzard, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt (level 52)
Walrein- Body Slam, Blizzard, Sheer Cold, Surf (level 53)

if a 6th Pokemon needed
Kecleon- Hail, Blizzard, Toxic, Slash (level 50)

New team (ORAS)

Glalie- Hail, Ice Beam, Light Screen, Crunch (level 53)
Froslass Confuse Ray, Blizzard, Hail, Shadow ball (level 52)
Starmie-Camouflage, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Psychic (level 52)
Kecleon (has protean)- Ice Punch, Shadow Sneak, Toxic, Drain punch (level 52)
Castform- Hail, Blizzard, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt (level 52)
Walrein- Body Slam, Blizzard, Sheer Cold, Surf (level 54)

ORAS rematch team- unchanged as her rematch team is pretty good.

Reason for changes.

Decided to make no changes to the Hoenn Dex so this set up gives her better ice type variety while not adding any new pokemon to dex as I wanted to avoid repeats. Felt by the time of ORAS all elite 4 battles should be full battles. Added on Kecleon for gen 3 as a possible 6th Pokemon (as its kinda underused and isn't overly powerful and does know ice moves) works better in ORAS

Castform-Can be an ice type some of the time and would be an interesting challenge with the moveset. Also ties into her being the owner of the Weather institute.

Starmie-Starmie is the only fully evolved pokemon that gets Camouflage in gen 3 and thus could become an ice type which while not possible in gen 3 could potentially be programmed in with this reason to do so. (Even if this couldn't be programmed in I'd rather use a pokemon that knows an ice type move than a repeat). Starmie also is a Psychic type which might be a problem for fighting types

Kecleon- Kecleon can become an ice type with Protean and not used much in ORAS in initial playthrough

Spiritual Successor to Wurmple

Maggifant, Nanaero, Picospryte, Sisfly and Dipsly, the
Name basis: Maggot+infant(Maggifant), Nano(as in nanometer)+aero(Nanaero), Pico(as in picometer)+sprite(Picospryte), SIS(Secret Intelligence Service)+fly(Sisfly), Diptera+sly(Dipsly)
Type-Bug(Maggifant), Bug/Fairy(Nanaero, Picospryte), Bug/Dark(Sisfly, Dipsly)
Ability-Stench(Maggifant), Levitate(its evolved forms)
Evolution
  • Line one: Maggifant-Lv 13 during the day-Nanaero-Max Friendship-Picospryte
  • Line two: Maggifant-Lv 13 during the night-Sisfly-Max Friendship-Dipsly
Pokedex entry
  • Maggifant: "The stinking, unsightly Maggifant is usually found eating garbage. Though difficult, treating them with kindness and compassion is said to give a large reward"
  • Nanaero: "The spritely Nanaero is the smallest known Pokemon. They like to live on the backs of larger Pokemon, and it's said they give luck to their hosts"
  • Picospryte: "To its fellow Bug types, the almost microscopic Picospryte is a terror who steals their eggs and swaps them with an egg-like clutch of hungry Maggifant. To non-Bug types, Picospryte grants great health and fortune through its fey magic"
  • Sisfly: "Sisfly seem harmless, spending their time in dumps, streets and grimy locales. They do this to get the dirt on people and learn their weaknesses:
  • Dipsly: "Dipsly's excellent reaction time makes them useful spies for government agents. They have a visor grip on their tongue and hold a berth of secrets regions have fought over"
Basis: This is an early bug Pokemon based on the fly. The day evolution is based off the fairy fly and its parasitoid qualities, the night off the common house fly and a spy. Like the Wurmple line it is a split evolution. Levitate is because they're flies and thus, well, fly(yes, they can also learn the move Fly and a number of Flying type moves)
