Given Legendaries/other Pokemon more/better abilities
- Gastly line: Poison Touch(being they are literally manifestations of poison gas)
- Kantonian Articuno: Snow Warning(a number of entries have it mentioned to creating blizzards/coldness in the air)
- Kantonian Zapdos: Electric Surge(oft mentioned that it creates thunderstorms)
- Kantonian Moltres: Drought(again, Pokedex entry)
- Mewtwo: Intimidate(it feels more appropriate than Pressure, and Mewtwo is certainly intimidating)
- Mew: Protean(I think it'd be a great Hidden Ability, and would be a special, rare Mew in rather limited events you can boast having)
- Mareep line: Fluffy(second ability, and well given its wool it seems appropriate)
- Misdreavus line: Prankster, Intimidate, and/or a sound-boosting move(given its personality and history)
- Legendary beasts: Just make their old Hidden Abilities their main abilities
- Lugia: Basically an ability for the Strong Winds effect I mentioned before
- Celebi: Grass Surge as a hidden ability, what with their spirit of the forest aesthetic
- Vibrava and Flygon: Sand Stream (secondary ability. Dex entries mention it being able to kick up a dust storm, being the Desert Spirit, ect)
- Baltoy line: Own Tempo(secondary ability, but I never got why it has Levitate. Since its a spinning Pokemon, I feel it makes sense it would have some sort of protection against confusion)
- Registeel: Armored Body(secondary ability, halves the damage taken by Fighting type moves. Reflects dex entries on it having a super tough steel body)
- Regice: Heatproof(secondary ability, reflects dex entries saying it cannot be melted due to how cold it is)
- Regirock: Regenerator(secondary ability, reflects dex entries saying how it can heal itself)
- Eon Duo: Illusion(Hidden Ability. They can disguise themselves as different forms by bending light, after all)
- Kyogre: Aqua Aura(Hidden Ability. Aura related to boosting Water type attacks)
- Groudon: Land Aura(Hidden Ability. Aura related to boosting Ground type attacks)
- Rayquaza: Basically just make Delta Stream its Hidden Ability
- Cranidos line: Rock Head(Mold Breaker's good, but this makes way more sense as an ability)
- Shieldon line: Armored Body(it is a walking shield/fortress)
- Spiritomb: Dark Aura(sure its Yveltal's signature, but who says it has to be consigned to it. Spiritomb is an amalgam of malevolent spirits...sounds pretty dark to me and a good secondary ability)
- Carnivine: Flycatcher(Bug type moves are directed to the user, who is healed instead of taking damage. Basically a Lightningrod for Bug types)
- Lake Trio: Clear Spirit(secondary effects will not affect the user or their ally. So if they are on your side, they and their partner in a double/triple battle will be immune to cursing, infatuation and confusion)
- Regigigas: Brawny(Fighting type moves are boosted in power by 50%)
- Cresselia: Sweet Dreams(the user and their ally become immune to any damage while asleep, at the cost of not being able to use Snore, Sleep Talk or Rest when a Pokemon with Sweet Dreams is on the field)
- Phione: Drizzle(just to give the thing something to match up to its parent)
- Shaymin: Detoxify(Hidden Ability. The user draws Poison type moves/poisoning-afflicting moves to it, but doesn't take damage/get poisoned)
- Cryogonal: Slush Rush and Snow Cloak(I mean it's living ice)
- Genesect: Mega Cannon. Hidden ability. Like Mega Launcher, but boosts "beam" moves like Hyper Beam, Ice Beam, and of course its signature of Techno Blast.
- Honedge and Doublade: Sharpened Blade. Boosts the power of sword and blade-oriented moves
- Diancie: Sturdy as a Hidden Ability. Ties into its weaker sibling, Carbink
- Volcanion: Steam Engine. Pretty sure if the ability existed back in Gen V, Volcanion would definitely get this
- Type: Null and Silvally-Protean as a Hidden Ability
- Eternatus: Ruination. Drops the dominant defensive stat of whatever Pokemon enters the battle
Other Ideas
Trainer Class: Impressionist. Utilizes Pokemon with copying moves like Mimic and Mirror Move, copying abilities like Trace. Like to use Ditto(Transform), Sudowoodo(pretending to be a tree), Voltorb and Foongus lines(pretending to be Pokeballs), Zorua line(Illusion), Smeargle
