Since Shedinja always should have been easier to use (why are entry hazards and weather also effective?) and has such a weird stat spread (defense stats are useless), here's a buff in the form of a mega.

Mega Shedinja
Shedinja+Shedinjinite
Type: Bug/Ghost
Ability: Wonder Guard
Height: 3'03 (1.0 m)
Weight: 2.2 lbs (1.0 kg)
Stat Spread
HP: 1
Atk: 112
Def: 1
SpA: 112
SpD: 1
Spe: 112
BST: 336

Appearance: Shedinja's halo becomes more pronounced, its "wings" become larger and more complex, its arms lengthen and clasp, its eyes look closed but deep in concentration, and its becomes slightly more angelic in appearance.

Dex Entry #1: The energy of mega evolution has summoned a new force into its hollow body, a fast and ancient power flowing in and out of the hole on its back. Looking inside reveals nothing of interest.
Dex Entry #2: The overwhelming energy of something from another plane threatens to crack its hollow body into a hundred pieces. However, it seems much more peaceful and focused in this form.

Moskoviy Deoxys
Type-Steel/Poison
Ability-Levitate
Pokedex entry(includes regular Deoxys)
  • Normal Hoennian Deoxys: "Deoxys was born from a laser mutating a space-borne virus. It has the capacity to adapt and mold itself to almost any environment"
  • Attack Hoennian Deoxys: "Deoxys communicate and are attracted to auroras. One of their numbers arrived on Earth because they sensed the distress of their Moskoviy variant"
  • Defense Hoennian Deoxys: "Deoxys take a defensive form to withstand the friction and speed that'd normally burn up meteors of their size. So long as their core remains intact, they can regenerate from virtually nothing."
  • Speed Hoennian Deoxys: "Deoxys is capable of superluminal velocities, baffling scientists who thought such a thing was impossible. Though Hoenn astronomers officially identified them, later evidence suggests the species has visited the polar regions over the centuries"
  • Standard Moskoviy Deoxys: "This Deoxys was created by Moskoviy scientists in order to study and harness the power of the extraterrestrial Pokemon. It ended up breaking out of its lab and has been wandering around the region since"
  • Bulk Moskoviy Deoxys: "Though a regional variant, Moskoviy Deoxys only counts by virtue of being mutated from its virus in the region. The metal ore of the meteor their viral form lived on has become embedded into their body"
  • Physical Moskoviy Deoxys: "Moskoviy's own Deoxys appears to have memories of its prior existence as a virus on a meteor. This is believed to be why it is so erratic and confrontational on, to it, an alien world"
  • Special Moskoviy Deoxys: "A sickness of alien origins emanates from Moskoviy Deoxys. In confusion has been attempting to infect and propagate itself through Pokemon and humans"
BST-600
  • Standard Moskoviy Deoxys: Unchanged from Normal Forme Deoxys
  • Bulk Moskoviy Deoxys: 180 HP, 90 Atk, 80 Def, 80 Sp.Atk, 60 Sp.Def 80 Speed
  • Physical Moskoviy Deoxys: 50 HP, 180 Atk, 180 Def, 20 Sp.Atk, 20 Sp.Def, 150 Speed
  • Special Moskoviy Deoxys: 50 HP, 20 Atk, 20 Def, 180 Sp.Atk, 180 Sp.Def, 150 Speed
Basis: This regional variant of Deoxys extrapolates its origin as a virus that mutated via a laser into the mythical. Basically it is the attempt by scientists at creating their own Deoxys. Moskoviy Deoxys is a horror-themed event item released every October. You obtain regular Deoxys in the event who comes to your aid in order to help you...provided you can catch it as well.

That is such an amazing idea! Have you heard the theories that Shedim's name is partially derived from "Shedim" or that its design is based somewhat on a seraph?

I actually like the idea of a variant Deoxys but I'm a little confused as to the origin for this form. Did scientists attempt to modify or study the meteor and accidentally corrupted it? I'd love a Deoxys form or regvar where another one of those meteors was shot down by a laser or something to "save the world" in generic action movie fashion but that made it mutate in something even more alien then its current Psychic-type form.

I never heard the theory, but I knew it was based on a seraph because of its appearance. Seraphim are depicted as "grotesque" because their glory is incomprehensible to the human eye.

We really do need more angel-based Pokémon. (Before you mention portrayal of religion in Pokémon, remember that brief phase in Gens III and IV where biblical references were weirdly common. See Grumpig, Arceus, Unown, Giratina, and the Weather Trio.)

A few ideas:
  • Purrim>Beautiel, Fairy/Electric: Based on angels singing and flightless cockatiels
  • Ibbero and Dibillan, Ghost/Fighting and Ghost/Dark: Counterpart mythicals based on a gundi/ibbur/shoulder angel and grasshopper mouse/dybbuk/shoulder devil respectively
  • Nestargus/UB Watcher, Dark/Fairy: based on an ophanim, ping pong tree sponge, doll's eyes plant, and mokumokuren

Pokémon - and Japanese entertainment in general - has always been big on Christian references.

N was literally referred to by people as their "lord and savior." lol

Some Snek Bois

Snaklectic and Lascopaker, the Laser Pokemon
Name basis: Snake+eclectic, Laser+scope+snake
Type-Light
Ability-Flashing Light(using a Light type move has a 30% chance of causing the opponent's accuracy to drop)/Illuminate, Shed Skin(Hidden Ability)
Evolution: Snaklectic-Lv 22-Lascopaker
Egg group-Field
Gender ratio-50/50
Pokedex entry
  • Snaklectic: "Snaklectic have bright and colorful scales, which they use to distract their foes. Their saliva is farmed to make colorful dye"
  • Lascopaker: "Lascopaker's fangs can bend and shift to fire blinding lasers into their foe's eyes, blinding them long enough so Lascopaker can squeeze the life out of them. Their shed skin is a popular accessory due to its bright, primary colors"
Basis: The Snaklectic line is based on lasers and the spitting cobra. How it fires lasers is like the spitting cobra spitting venom, but also like laser tag. It is meant to be an early game Pokemon, which introduces people to the type

Note: Below is a starter idea I have for a Levant-themed region.

Viparide, Saharice, and Temperpent, the Sidewinder, Refrigerating and Climate Control Pokemon
Name basis: Viper+arid, Sahara+ice, Temperate+serpent
Type-Fire(Viparide), Fire/Ice(Saharice and Temperpent)
Ability-Blaze(normal), Cloud Nine(Hidden)
Evolution: Viparid-Lv 17-Saharice-Lv 34-Temperpent
Gender ratio-1 female/7 male
Egg group-Field
Pokedex entry
  • Viperaide: "Viperaide have heat pouches that keep them safe in the night, but force them to sleep in shade during the day to avoid overheating. These heat pouches also let their dagger-like fangs inflict burns on their prey"
  • Saharice: "Saharice's increased horn size is because they mystically summon snow and frost to keep them from overheating during the day. The delicate balance between fire and ice is why their movements are very cautious and calculated"
  • Temperpent: "Temperpent travel on a trail of ice during the day, and sand turned glass during the night. Until around 2000 years ago, they were often celebrated as divine emissaries for their power"
Basis: The Viparide line is based on the cerastes cerastes, or desert horned viper. Its unorthodox typing is meant to represent the sharp temperature drop between the day and night in deserts. It also references the line being a sidewinder snake, which is careful to keep themselves from overheating

Not really all that original, but freestyle Legendary Fighting / Flying type humanoid Pokemon, inspired by Dragon Ball characters would probably look great animated in a movie.

Spider-Phoenix

#ChespinGang
A proper easter dragon that's a 3-stage line and water/dragon.

Also, a Pegasus pokémon. We are long overdue one. Preferbly, make it a legendary

Rune Knight

A Pokémon based on Lego building blocks that rebuilds itself whenever it gets hit. Similar to Bloxx from Ben 10, with a similar colour scheme.

Pokefan_1987

Avid Pokemon TCG Card collector.
Probably a Grass/Steel 3 stage starter (i know its a uncommon element but green like a Shenron from dragon ball and and not childish like Drampa) so it doesn't have any common weaknesses. Preferrably based on attacking instead of draining moves.

Rotom Drone - Electric Flyer with "Annoy" ability, lowers accuracy. Bring the anime to the game.

I thought about that! Since we already have a Flying Type Rotom, I figured that it could be an Electric Bug type, like an electric spy drone from the Spy-Kids movies. The "annoy" ability would fit it too, as it would "bug" people.

A Dolphin Pokemon
If they do make a dolphin they shouldn't be obvious. Have a lesser known dolphin species. My pick would, if Brazil becomes a region, make a Water/Fairy amazon dolphin that adapts the "fair folk" traits of legends around them. Another idea I have is an elephant seal as a Water/Ice starter. Elephant seals are ugly jerks, so you could make the anti-Primarina; a seal that's a burly jerk jock, using ice as bludgeoning weapons like a stereotypical caveman(a number of Water types incorporate weapons).

For inanimate objects, while we have a blob monster of toxic substances I think we could get one based off oil instead of sludge. I'd make it a Poison/Ghost type because it would incorporate the original of natural oil; being a fossil fuel. Steam Engine seems like an obvious ability. Maybe you could go further and make a Pokemon based off a toxic solid substance like lead to get a solid-liquid-gas trio like Trubbish/Grimer/Koffing (with Gastly being the gas, of course)

A proper easter dragon that's a 3-stage line and water/dragon.
The Chinese water dragon? You just have to spruce it up a bit and you have a Water type starter for a region based on part of China ready to go that also fits how Water type starters are semi-aquatic/amphibious. Though you'd obviously need a Grass/Fairy starter so it can't just get away with being the best starter...though given the Gen 4 starters' type match-ups, they may not even care

Tsukuyomi56

Sky High Knight
A Dolphin Pokemon
We technically have a dolphin based Pokemon in Kyogre who is based off an orca. Despite alternatively being referred to as a killer whale, orcas are actually a species of dolphin. Why Alola has no Pokemon based off bottlenose dolphins is puzzling however.

Edit: Also why don’t we have a Griffin Pokemon yet? Silvally does not count as it is more a chimera from combining aspects of various animals.
