New category of Pokemon
Enigma Pokemon- (In Scarlet and violet the Paradox Pokemon are called Enigmas of Paldea)

This would be considered the category below Legendary and Mythical but above regular Pokemon.
All be in no eggs group
Most are connected to legendary/Mythical Pokemon
Does not count Baby Pokemon
Would be allowed in most battle unless specifically banned.

The Unown forms
Ultra Beasts (not counting things like Lunala or Solgeleo that are considered legendary)
Paradox Pokemon- (not counting things like Koraidon or Miraidon that are considered legendary)

Captain Jigglypuff

*On Vacation. Go Away!*
Toxic Tentacles
(Paradox Octillery #1)
Water/Poison
Dex Entry: Toxic Tentacles looks similar to the hypothesized form of how Octillery had looked in the past. It uses the brightly colored glowing markings on its body to lure prey to it before capturing them. Toxic Tentacles with then disable its prey by shooting a specialized poison that causes instant paralysis at it.

Description: Toxic Tentacles is a muted orange color with electric blue circular markings all over its body. It is similar to a real life blue ringed octopus only Octillery is bigger and has bumps in the center of the rings on its head.

Iron Tentacles
(Paradox Octillery #2)
Water/Steel
Dex Entry: This Paradox Pokémon seems to resemble a description of an Octillery from the future. It is clad in a very durable suit of armor made from an unknown type of metal that can withstand being hit by a Metang falling from the sky. A single Headbutt from Iron Tentacles can shatter a diamond into pieces.
Description: Iron Tentacles looks like Octillery encased in silver metallic armor. It is something similar to how the Squid Baron from the Shantae games looked when he used armor in a boss battle in one of the games only Iron Tentacles has much longer tentacles that can stretch very far while sill covered in metal. This is what Armored Squid Baron looks like for context:

Finosaur and Palasaur, the Aqualizard and Old Hero Pokemon
Name basis: Fin+ichthyosaur and Paladin+ichthyosaur
Type-Rock/Water(Finisaur), Rock/Dark(Palasaur)
Ability-Water Veil (Finosaur), Guts (Palasaur)
Egg group-Field
Evolution: Finisaur-Lv 38-Palasaur
Pokedex entry
  • Finosaur: "Fossils of Finosaur were first discovered by Finizen. Though they look similar and are equally playfull, they're separated by at least 300 million years of evolution"
  • Palasaur: "Though they appear like frightening beasts Palasaur only play up this facade to intimidate cruel and vicious prehistoric Pokemon. 100 million years ago they protected the weak from the tyranny of Tyrantrum"
Basis: Finosaur and Palasaur are convergent evolutions to the Paladin line, while also having superheroic traits. This time, they are more reminiscent of Batman (also referencing the giant T-Rex). They are also fossil Pokemon, based off the ichthyosaur.

Ancient Guardian-5PP Status (Rock)- Boosts its ally defence and special defence by 1 stage in a double battle- fails in a single battle

Dex Entry 1-In ancient times humans formed a bond with wolf-like creatures and convinced them to be allies. When supported by a modern Lycanroc they can regain this powerful form that resembles it.

Dex entry 2-When forced into combat this Lupine creature can use the cairn like structure on its head as a horn. After using this it takes a while before it can rebuild it.

Appearance- resembles a large domesticated wolf (ancestor of dogs) but skeletal. Has a cairn on its head.
Name- Comes from a cairn (man-made pile of stones often used for a burial mound) and Canine.

I would consider Ultra Beasts and Paradox Pokemon quasi-legendary. They share a lot of traits with legendary and mythical Pokemon (high stats, unknown gender and egg group, are considered extraordinary) but are not so extraordinary or special as to count as legends/myths

Type Buffs and Nerfs

Buff: Ice type. By far the worst type defensively, this would mainly be fixing that
  • Gain: Resistance to Grass and Poison types. Ice already has an advantage with Grass types offensively, and it would go under the same logic that plants have a really hard time growing in the cold. And cold through freezers and refrigeration helps preserve food longer.
  • Pokemon that would lose a weakness or two: Alolan Ninetales, Dewgong, Cloyster, Lapras, Hisuian Avalugg, Arctovish, Iron Bundle, Swinub, Spheal, Snover and Amaura lines
Buff/Nerf: Normal types
  • Gain: Resistance to Fairy type attacks. Both to balance out Fairy types more, but also inspired by the Youtuber Froopy Art's logic in his balancing
  • Gain: Weakness to Poison type attacks. To give them more of a niche, and there is a logic that a normal animal/individual wouldn't have a defense/any protection against being poisoned
  • Pokemon that lose a weakness: Mega Lopunny, Piroutte Form Meloetta, Drampa, Cyclizar, Alolan Rattata, Galarian Zigzagoon and Stufful lines
  • Pokemon that gain a weakness: All pure Normal types, Kantonian Farfetch'd, Chatot, Rufflet, Unovan Braviary, Aria Form Meloetta, Oranguru, Fletchling, Indeedee, Squawkabilly, Pidgey, Spearow, Doduo, Hoothoot, Girafarig, Stantler, Tailow, Starly, Bidoof, Pidove, Litleo, Helioptile and Pikipek lines

Buff/Nerf: Rock types. Kind of schizophrenic tbh
  • Gain: Resistance to Electric type attacks. They're similar in many ways to Ground types and like how Grass resists Electric because it is tied to
  • Lose: Resistance and effectiveness against Bug types. This is to help the Bug types. Also bugs are a smaller target and many live underground (hence their Ground resistance)
  • Pokemon that would lose an Electric type weakness: Aerodactyl, Johtonian Corsola, Relicanth, Minior, Omantye, Kabuto, Archen, Tirtuga, Binacle and Dreadnaw lines
  • Pokemon that would gain a Bug type weakness: Tyranitar, Lunatone and Solrock, Lileep lines
  • Pokemon that would lose a Rock type weakness: All pure Bug types, Shuckle, Surskit, Weedle, Shedinja, Kleavor, Paras, Venonat, Spinarak, Wurmple, Sewaddle, Venipede, Joltick, Grubbin, Wimpod, Cutiefly, Blipbug, Nymble and Rellor lines

Nerf: Steel type. By far the most broken defensively
  • Gain: Weakness to Electric type. Steel is a good conductor of electricity as it is heat, so this would make sense
  • Lose: Resistance to Psychic and Dragon types. Psychics already have a lot more balance than they did when this type was introduced, and there's little in-universe logic behind either resistance
  • Pokemon that would gain an Electric type weakness(factoring in aforementioned changes): All pure Steel types, Forretress, Scizor, Mawile, Jirachi, Trash Cloak Wormadam, Lucario, Heatran, Escavaliar, Durant, Cobalion, Genesect, Klefki, Solgaleo and Dusk Man Necrozma, Crown Form Zacian, Gholdengo, Alolan Sandshrew, Beldum, Bronzor, Pawniard, Honedge, Tinaktuff and Varoom lines
  • Pokemon that would gain a Psychic and/or Dragon type weakness: Lucario, Dialga, Cobalian, Duraludon, Crowned Form Zamazenta, Hisui Sliggoo and Varoom lines

Change Mycelium Might so that status moves that affect an opponent have a -1 speed tier deduction, keep everything else. As it stands, Toedscool/cruel use moves like Growth and Synthesis at a lower priority bracket when they don’t even target other Pokémon. Not cool. I think GF just overlooked this.

Unlockable abilities for Paradox and Ultra Beast Pokémon, via Area Zero’s Time Machine. Things like Magnet Pull for Sandy Shocks, Iron Barbs for Iron Thorns, Tough Claws or Strong Jaw for Howling Moon (broken), Liquid Ooze or Clear Body for Nihilego, etc. Maybe even more move remembrance; Iron Jugulis doesn’t get Roost, Dragon Dance, or Nasty Plot as TMs. It’s kind of underwhelming atm. Zing Zap or Spiky Shield for Iron Thorns. Just some thoughts.

Also, an ability called Vampire or Parasite that lets the user recover (up to) 25% HP with damaging moves. Perfect on Scream Tail and Buzzwhole. All these Pokémon are good, but I feel like they could have more individuality with additional abilities.

Eternatus
Dark Guardian Form
Type- Poison/Dark
Ability-Dragon’s Maw
Transforms into this form using the key item Dynamic device (can be reverted at any time outside of battle)

Stats
HP- 92
Attack-80
Special attack- 120
Defence-115
Special Defence- 115
Speed- 138
Total- 660

Dex Entry 1- Professor Magnolia built a device to enable Eternatus to exist safely in the wild by storing some of its body safely and painlessly until it needs its full strength. In this form it can no longer eternamax but can still freely control Dynamax Energy.

Dex Entry 2- This recently created form enables Eternatus to protect the Galar alongside the legendary heroes. It is unclear if they will ever be true friends or if Eternatus is merely biding its time before it unleashes its true power.

New Moves added-

Foul Play, Dark Pulse, Crunch & Nasty Plot. It can now learn several other Dark moves by TM.

Can use any other move Eternatus knows but Eternabeam and Dynamax cannon always fail when it is in this form. This form can however Dynamax.

Appearance- Resembles a large skeletal Alien Wolf (similar to how regular eternatus is a skeletal alien Dragon) with similar size and structure to the Hero of many battles’ forms of Zacian and Zamazenta. It’s snout is slightly draconic in appearance (to explain its ability)

Note-The purpose of this weakened form is so that Eternatus fits in a bit closer with the Hero Duo. The Dynamic device essentially stores its excess power and allows it to take on this form.

Regis: Overclocked Form

Crown Form is a super form that except for Regigigas, boosts their BST and brings about overwhelming power. They are achieved with "Crown" items and are compared to being overclocked

Crowned Regirock
Type-Rock/Ground
Ability-Self-Made (the user is healed by moves of the same type as it)
BST-660 (80 HP, 220 Def, 130 Atk, 50 Sp.Atk, 130 Sp.Def, 50 Speed)
Item-Stone Crown (unlocks Regirock's Crowned form. If held by another Rock type Pokemon their defense increases by one stage when they enter the field)
Pokedex entry
  • "In ancient times Regirock was given a crown to unlock great power. It is capable of growing giant by absorbing the earth and stone around it"
  • "The now crowned Regirock built mighty fortresses with its control over rock. Those who feared its power took the crown and sealed it at the bottom of a lake"
Basis: According to Pokedex notes Regirock can reconstruct itself with other rocks so I gave it an ability that would compliment it, along with a type where it could really take advantage of the ability

Crowned Regice
Type-Ice
Ability-Permafrost (the user becomes immune to all Fire type attacks, and cannot be burned)
BST-660 (80 HP, 50 Atk, 130 Def, 130 Sp.Atk, 220 Sp.Def, 50 Speed)
Item-Glacial Crown (unlocks Regice's Crowned form. If held by another Ice type Pokemon their special defense increases by one stage when they enter the field)
Pokedex entry
  • "The crowned Regice freezes the very air around it. In ancient times it froze rivers both to cross and to disrupt enemy transport"
  • "With the Glacial Crown not even the surface of the Sun could melt Regice. To control it, the crown was kept in a steel cage"
Basis: Pokedex entries state that Regice cannot be melted or hurt by fire. So when making this form I needed to have it live up to that. I didn't give it a second type because I couldn't think anything else really fit

Crowned Registeel
Type-Steel/Electric
Ability-Heavy Armor (the user takes no damage from Fighting type attacks)
BST-660 (80 HP, 115 Atk, 100 Def, 115 Sp Atk, 100 Sp. Def, 150 Speed)
Item-Iron Crown (unlocks Registeel's Crowned form. If held by another Steel type Pokemon their speed increases by one stage when they enter the field)
Pokedex entry
  • "The crowned Registeel has become lightweight and capable of using electromagnetism. To weaken it, the Iron Crown is kept red-hot through a fireplace"
  • "In ancient times the crowned Registeel was thought to have telekinesis, but in reality it used electromagnetism to move and build up metal structures. Not even the mightiest Fighting type has managed to so much as dent it"
Basis: Registeel's Pokedex entries imply it shouldn't be damaged by the likes of Fighting types. It has a number of electric type attacks so along with the idea of galvanized metal, I thought gaining an Electric type made sense

Crowned Regieleki
Type-Electric
Ability-Transistor
BST-660 (80 HP, 80 Atk, 50 Def, 150 Sp Atk, 100 Sp. Def, 200 Speed)
Item-Lightning Crown (unlocks Regeleki's Crowned form. If held by another Electric type their Electric type attacks are boosted by 30%)
  • "In hopes of enhancing Regieleki's electrical power, a Lightning Crown was developed. However until recently a way to safely regulate it wasn't available"
  • "Prophecies foretold that the Crowned Regieleki would power an entire region on its own. So as not to abuse a then uncontrollable power, ancient men sealed the Lightning Crown underground"
Basis: Basically just a juiced up Regieleki. Since it is one of the most literal Electric types and already had a signature ability I didn't think it needed a secondary type. The more recent part of the lore is a reference to both it and Regidrago being based off more modern eras than the original three, and a meta nod to the two being the most recent members of the legendary golems

Crowned Regidrago
Type-Dragon/Dark
Ability-Dragon's Maw
BST-660 (200 HP, 150 Atk, 100 Def, 100 Sp Atk, 80 Sp Def, 50 Speed)
Item-Wyvern Crown (unlocks Regidrago's Crowned form. If held by another Dragon type their Dragon type attacks are boosted by 30%)
  • "The full potential of Regidrago is unlocked by the Wyvern Crown. However until recently nobody knew a way to keep from going mad from its power"
  • "Crowned Regidrago is a mighty and terrible dragon prophesized to allow whatever region controls it to conquer all others. To prevent this, the Wyvern Crown was frozen at the top of a mountain"
Basis: See Regieleki. Also, Crowned Regidrago takes some inspiration from how in the lore it is thought to have the skull of an unknown bigger dragon. The Dark type refers to both its in-universe ferocity, and a Dark Age reference

Crowned Regigigas
Type-Normal/Fighting
Ability-King's Duty (the user's attacks are boosted by 30% at the cost of losing 10% of their maximum HP each turn)
BST-670 (100 HP, 160 Atk, 80 Def, 110 Sp Atk, 80 Sp Def, 150 Speed)
Key item-Titan Crown (use to change Regigigas' forms)
Pokedex entry
  • "Millions of years ago Infinity Energy was present in the open environment, allowing Regigigas to live up to its full potential. Nowadays unleashing its full power will slowly drain its energy"
  • "The Titan Crown was created so Regigigas could regain its mythic power to move entire landmasses. However the Crowned Regigigas gave this power up and sealed it away so nobody would abuse its power"
Basis: Regigigas already has amazing stats, its just that its ability is awful. So I gave it a great ability that still has a clear drawback, and made it a held item so even without the ability its still an improvement. It builds on Regigigas' lore and gives somewhat of an in-universe explanation for its terrible ability. Like Ultra Necrozma Crowned Regigigas is the Pokemon's original form and its lore references Primal Reversion and Gen 6 as a whole

Ursabejas
Type-Normal/Bug
Ability- Guts/Tinted Lens.
Hidden ability- Honey Gather
Evolves from Ursaring with a Bug Tera Type and using the Tera stone in Paldea. (or using the Tera stone Outside of Paldea using the stone with 5 different bug types in the party while holding Honey.)

HP-100
Attack- 140
Special Attack-30
Defence- 85
Special Defence- 95
Speed- 100
Total-550

Moveset
-Leech Life
-Slash
-X-Scissor
-Fell Stinger
-Headbutt
-Play Rough
-Pounce
- Attack Order
-Defence Order
-Heal Order
-Infestation
-First Impression
-Drill Run
- Helping Hand
- Honey Slick
- Honey Storm
- Dual Wingbeat

Can also learn any move Ursaring knows

Dex Entry 1- This special evolution was discovered after a special stone was discovered in the Paldea Region. This evolution of Ursaring seems to permanently change its form using the power of terastilization. Research is looking into how the temporary form change became a full evolution

Dex Entry 2- This new evolution of Ursaring is curiously friendly with both its evolutionary relatives and the bug types that make honey. Jacq has speculated that Ursapsis defends the bugs from other predators while providing honey for its relatives. Some bugs will even follow its commands

New Item- Tera Stone- item found in Area Zero-allows access to new evolutions.

Ability change

Honey Gather- now also boosts special defence by 1 stage (implied they use honey to boost special defence)

New Moves
Honey Slick- (Bug)(status)- Lowers the speed of any opposing Pokemon that switches in by 1 stage. (Same as Sticky web but exclusively for bees and honey focused Pokemon). Does not stack with Sticky web.

Honeystorm- (Bug) (Special) 130BP-5PP- Deals damage but move will fail unless Pokemon using move is holding Honey or Honey slick is active on the field- will remove either Honey Slick or Held honey depending on which in effect (exclusively for bees and honey focused Pokemon )

Appearance- Looks like a larger Ursaring but with Bee-like traits. It has a pair of wings but non-functional for flight. Its stripes resemble crescent moons. Tail becomes a stinger.

Name- From Ursa (bear) and Abejas ( Spanish for bee according to google)

Note- Honeystorm would not be useful for this Pokemon but would be introduced at same time. This Pokemon would become the signature Pokemon of Katy in DLC rematches.

Expanded Legends And Myths

Iron Genesis, the Paradox Pokemon
Type-Electric/Psychic
Ability-Hadron Drive
BST-670 (70 HP, 70 Atk, 150 Def, 130 Sp Atk, 150 Sp Def, 100 Speed)
Counterparts: Mew (non-Paradox/"past" counterpart), Mewtwo (part of the same family/"present" counterpart)
Pokedex entry
  • "It is theorized that Iron Genesis is a version of Mew from a distant future. Its biomechanical appearance is seen as foreboding and concerning"
  • "It's believed that Iron Genesis was created to store and preserve DNA in case of a mass extinction event. Bionics, rather than genetic engineering made this Pokemon"
Basis: Iron Genesis is the future Paradox version of Mew. It is meant to represent attempts to preserve and study DNA like Norway's "Doomsday" seed vault, and mapping out the human genome. It is effectively Mewthree, without being called as such. Like Miraidon it is more cybernetic than mechanical compared to other Future Paradox Pokemon

Ribonukls, the RNA Pokemon
Name basis: Ribonucleic acid
Type-Poison/Steel
Ability-Infection (this ability is functionally identical to Mummy)
BST-600 (50 HP, 75 Atk, 75 Def, 150 Sp Atk, 150 Sp Def, 100 Speed)
Counterpart: Deoxys
Pokedex entry
  • "Scientists attempted to recreate Deoxys through similar laser processes, only for it to go wrong. Ribonukls is a walking virus with unknown infective qualities"
  • "A failed attempt to create another Deoxys, Ribonukls has the meteorite is was carried from embedded across its body. It is considered a biohazard best kept contained"
Basis: Ribonukls is similar to Genesect and Mewtwo in that it is an attempted recreation of another Pokemon, but botched ala a science experiment gone wrong. It represents the more viral aspect compared to its relative. The Steel type comes from the metal within a meteorite. Due to being an incorrect recreation of Deoxys it lacks the ability to form change (as in a way it is a form change itself)

Dire Myth, the Paradox Pokemon
Type-Bug/Fire
Ability-Orichalcum Pulse
BST-670
Counterpart: Genesect (non-Paradox/modern counterpart)
Pokedex entry
  • "It's thought to have been the same apex predator that Genesect is a modified form of. There's still debate over the tail"
  • "Dire Myth can fire scorching beams of energy from its stinger tail. It is thought to have dominated the ecosystem 300 million years ago"
Basis: Dire Myth is a Paradox version of Genesect that in-universe is thought to be what the Pokemon was like before being modified by Team Plasma. Its "cannon" is a scorpion-like tail that can curl up on its back, playing to the Pokedex entry's ambiguity of if the cannon was added or not.

Tapu: Aether
Type-Steel/Fairy
Ability-Beast Breaker (abilities which increase people's stats under certain circumstances are inverted, Ie: Moxie will not cause you to lose attack after beating an opponent)
BST: 600 (130 HP, 70 Atk, 130 Def, 115 Sp Atk, 70 Sp Def, 85 Speed)
Counterparts: The Guardian Deities (model)
Pokedex entry
  • "Tapu: Aether was an attempt to succeed where the Type: Full project had failed. Its designed to turn the tables against Ultra Beasts..unfortunately, its power doesn't discriminate between friend and foe"
  • "Modeled after the guardian spirits, Tapu: Aether is meant to serve as the guardian of artificial islands. It has a great mislike of said guardian spirits, disregarding their importance due to seeing them as "chaotic" and "illogical""
Basis: Tapu: Aether is another artificial Pokemon created by the Aether Foundation. It's mechanical and meant to represent the artificial island that is the foundation, along with the idea of artificial islands. Appearance-wise it has some resemblance to Lusamine to reflect this (and her ego). It also has a secondary purpose similar to the Type: Full project, but with a caveat in the "it works too well" sense.

Tapu Wahi
Name basis: Tapu+Wahine (Hawaiian for Lady)
Type-Fire/Fairy
Ability-Terrain Master (the user gets the benefits of a terrain regardless of the user's type or the terrain on the field)
BST: 670 (70 HP, 130 Atk, 130 Def, 130 Sp Atk, 130 Sp Def, 80 Speed)
Counterparts: The Guardian Deities (master of)
Pokedex entry
  • "Initially thought to only be part of an old creation myth, Tapu Wahi is thought to have forged the Alolan Region through volcanic activity
  • "According to legend Tapu Wahi charged four guardian spirits to look after Alola. It was discovered in an underwater volcano, trying to create a new island"
Basis: Tapu Wahi is the leader of the Tapus and is roughly based on Pele, hence the Fire typing.

Heikaidon, the Paradox Pokemon
Name basis: Heiko (Parallel)+don
Alias: "Faller Wheels", UB: Variant
Type-Dragon/Fairy
Ability-Regenerator
Gender ratio-50/50
Egg group-Unknown
BST-670 (113 HP, 113 Atk, 87 Def, 113 Sp Atk, 87 Sp Def, 157 Speed)
Counterparts: Koraidon (Past), Cyclizar (Present), Miraidon (Future)
Pokedex entry
  • "A mysterious version of Cyclizar from Ultra Space. The heavier competition from the stronger ecosystem resulted in Heikaidon being an incredibly powerful and aggressive Pokemon"
  • "Heikaidon somehow fell into our universe from an unknown divergent timeline. The Cyclizar of that timeline has grown mighty from the aura of power that seems to permeate Ultra Space"
Basis: Heikaidon is meant to come from/represent alternate history/timelines. The Fairy typing reflects how "fairy tale" it is. It is closer to Cyclizar since it is from the same time period, but alternate history which is why it has the same gender ratio but is still an unknown egg group for gameplay purposes
Mechanics: It is a Mythical Pokemon but instead of distribution it would require a downloadable event item/story to get to (or DLC). However, it is also classified as an Ultra Beast, meaning that Beast Balls have the same effectiveness they do on regular Ultra Beasts

Gloomweaver- (Status)-Dark- 5PP-If Spiderweb/Sticky Web is active and the Pokemon using this move has the ability Unlight all opposing Pokemon's defence and evasion stats will fall by 1 stage . Will fail either spiderweb/sticky web or Unlight Pokemon not present.

Arthropod Assault- (Physical) Bug-5PP- BP150 Accuracy 90%- The target is attacked with force. The user must rest on the next turn to regain its energy (hyper beam variant)

New ability
Unlight- Makes pokemon immune to damage/effects from light based moves (e.g Flash cannon, Solarbeam, Moonblast, Flash etc.). If hit by a light based move will recover 25% health

Dex Entry 1- According to myth this creature is not a true spider but something ancient that took on this form (though exactly what is unclear). Its presence seems to absorb light itself with its "unlight" and apparently it will even attack legendary creatures like Lunala, Solgeleo and even Xerneas if it has the advantage.

Dex Entry-2- This monstrosity resembles a massive spider but in truth is something much more terrifying and ancient. A myth said its unquenchable hunger caused it to eat itself but this was proven untrue when it was recently rediscovered. Many wish it had never been found as its hunger is very real.

Appearance- Looks like a giant dark spider- Has a stinger on its rear (similar to Shelob). Very large Pokemon.
When its on the battle field the brightness will go down slightly

Note- Takes inspiration from Ungoliant (LOTR) which is essentially a parent (iirc) of the Spider Shelob seen in the main books. The sting is similar to the one Shelob has. Name is essentially Ungoliant & the word Goliath combined.
