Where's my fanfare?
Well, in the past few days, there have been a few cases of duplicate threads coming up, and I just wanted to address this for those who post threads, and those who see the threads. I also decided to make a fresh new topic, so people will bother to read the first post and subsequent posts rather than just replying to thet topic title and later posts.

Just be sure to click the submit button only once and wait for the thread to finish loading. If you're not sure if whether or not it went through, open another window to the forum and look to see if your topic is there. If you click the [Submit New Thread] button multiple times, you may wind up making a thread for each time you click on it. The result would be clutter and 'SPAM' of the forums, and most people will react upon it.
I would also like to note, and remind you that its a good idea to explain what your thread is about in the title. It gets quite frustrating to see threads with titles such as "question", "help me", "I'm new at this", "where do I find...", etc. Tell people what your topic is about in the title.
People who see duplicate threads
Just PM an active moderator of that forum, an SMod, or an Admin to alert them of the situation. Usually duplicate threads have the exact same time, and exact same text in the first post. Don't add to the SPAM by saying stuff like "No need to make so many threads" or "This is spam *reports to mod*" In fact, you should never respond to something such as that within the thread. There should be some sort of post/thread coming soon on the difference between negative/disruptive mini-modding and helpful/supportive assitance in the event of SPAM, flaming, or whatever.
Edit:
In case anybody was wondering, the most unintentional duplicate threads I've ever seen personally, was 13.
