WEll, it appears that the evidence of this being a fully approved club is there, so, could I join please?

I'm a fan of the original/proper C:S:I:Crime Scene Investigation series, plus I have my own Maglite torch (other torches are available) so I can search for clues more effectivley.

How would this club work? Would cases be assigned to the club as a whole or would it be a place to talk about C:S:I:?

That depends.

What responsibilities does that entail?

Also, I found this picture on www.pvponline.com . I hope it works.

And the explanation from the pvp site.

The CSI thing
Posted on Sunday, December 12, 2004

PvP reader Creag wrote in with an explanation as to why CSI team members search for evidence in a dark room with flashlights, rather than just turning on the light.
" They use flashlights to concentrate their attention as much as shedding light on the subject. The beam limits their field of view, increasing their chances of spotting the hairs or chunk of skin etc. It's a proven technique. It's part psychology and part physiology, but it works."

Interesting. I would never have guessed.

Now can you explain why their labs and offices are so dark??? Same reason?

As co-owner, you have the power to choose which members can join, creating topics, etc.

Possibly. In "CSI:" the team works the graveyard (nighttime) shift, so maybe the lab in darkened so they won't get blinded. Or because the special machines require a certain light setting. I can't say for sure. ^^;

Yeah, why not? I mean, being Co-Owner is a responsibility.

While we're waiting for new members, here's a topic:

Out of the three supervisors (Grissom, Horatio & Mac), which is your favorite?
I'd have to say...Horatio. I've never seen that guy break down.

Grissom. Obviousley. How can you say otherwise?

Horitio and :Miami-doesn't strike me as being as good.
"Mac" and :NY-to use the theme from C:S:I:Crime Scene Investigation; Who are you?

Have you seen the Tarrintino double C:S:I: episode yet?

And for the position of co-owner, as long as "leet speak" and "txt spk" isn't used (As I can't understand them),
Then I graciousley accept the position.

(Will "cases" be dealt with "in character", as the "me" that is on the forums is a centaur, but, if wer'e keeping it human-centric, then that's fine.)

Brock Phillips.

BTW, If owner equals supervisor, what does co-owner equal please? (In Grissom, as that's the show I watch.)

Twice! I'm still waiting for it to come back around here.

(Most used tv channels:-terrestrial.)

Grissom vs. horatio.
*Shrugs.*
Everyone's entitled to a difference of opinion.
It's probably best not to get into an argument incase things get heated/get spamming.

BTW, the owner=supervisor, co-owner=???? rank. What's the answer please? (As in Grissom/horatio/mac's ranks.)

Well, in "CSI:", Catherine seems to be second-in-command. But her specialty is blood-splatter analysis. Or Jim Brass, the Police Captain. Take your pick.

I was about to say that I'll take the Catherine role, but where would the Grissom/horatio/mac role/rank go? Would that be yours?
(Do I take the club-rank of "Captain" by the way?)

Oh. And sorry to nit-pick, but it's blood spatter. Fluids are spattered, bodies and solid matter are splattered. It's best to get the words right.

Yeah, as I asked PsiUmbreon for permission to start this, and made the thread, I guess I have the Grissom/Horatio/Mac role. If you get the "Captian" role, you'd recuit new members if they post and I'm not online. The Catherine role is the same thing, basically.

And sorry about the spelling. I guess I wasn't really thinking. ^^;

*Smiles Grissom/"oh well"-like.*

The "typo". I only know that because I watched a "the real csi" program a while ago.

*Thought.* Would it be amiss to create a csi spin-off, but in the style of our personal favourite versions of csi? A sort of C:S:I:Serebii, if you would?

Notes/ideas:-

1) "Location" in the profile. "(In) the C:S:I:Serebii lab." ?

2) Can I change my (under forum name) (which is my real name, by the way) title/rank to "Crime lab club Captain" or something similar? (Assuming that it fits.)

Captain Brock PHillips.

Thanks.

If I think of one, is it o.k. to write a personal C:S:I:Crime Scene Investigation fic and post it in the fic section?

Captain Brock Phillips.

BTW, What country is the Serebii Crime Lab in? Great Britain, America, other?

Brock Phillips

Plain Trainer
How about, C:S:I:Serebii, then (rank, then author.)?

Lab's location? The US it is then.

Captain Brock PHillips.

BTW, taking the Captain Brass role.

You mean for the fiction?

Next topic:
What was your feeling about the "CSI:" Season Finale where Nick Stokes was buried alive?
I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. And cryed, too. At least that didn't happen the second time around. :)

Brock Phillips

Plain Trainer
Yes. For instance, a fic from me would be as:-

C:S:I:Serebii (fic name) by Captain Brock PHillips.
Then the thread would start with a reference to the club, (first published fic only,) then the fic.

Slightly off topic, I was thinking about C:S:I and this club last night whilst playing pokemon/watching Jack Dee, and, if it's o.k., could I change my rank (in the profile, not here) back to the default one please?

Also, insead of the Captain Brass rank/role, could I change it to the CSI:3 Willows rank, as I know more about her character than Jim Brass's.

Captain Brock Phillips.
