Crobat or Pidgeot?

I have started again on my crystal but I cant decide which one I should choose which one is better?

Crobat, because Pidgeot fails in absolutley every way. It has horrible stats in all categories, and it's movepool is so dire that Hyper Beam is standard on it.
Crobat, on the other hand, has excellent speed and a great movepool which allow for a great hit-and-run strategy. Unfortunatly, it's much harder to train than Pidgeot. I trained both on FR and raising Golbat's happiness took alot of effort, plus Golbat's bad stats prior to evolution made battling and training with it stressful. I don't like the looks of it either; to meh, it's just a toxic-colored blob with nasty looking teeth, spikey little ears, and a set of cheesy wings.

Crobat - It is better in every single stat except Special Attack and has excellent speed.

They have similar movepools in GSC though.

I think Crobat would make a better Pokemon. I have one on Lv. 100, and I think it is an awsome, strong Pokemon

Dunno why, but I like Pidgeot. It is pretty! Go Pidgeot!

Crobat definitely. Master chuckle said it all. Pidgeot just doesn't work. If you want a bird from that Generation, Dodrio or Fearow are better. Swellow is the coolest, but you can't get it, obviously.

Crobat's an awesome Pokémon. Outspeeded by next to nothing, and has a decent movepool to match.
