Cry Analyzer?

I didn't know there was one until I looked in an XD guidebook. How does it work? Give me an example.

It is used to free Pokémon from Kaminko's defective Pokémon Translators. When you speak to a Pokémon that is muted by a Translator while you have the Analyzer in your inventory, a quiz will appear based on the selected Pokémon. Answer it correctly and the Pokémon is freed from the defective Translator.

Example: Castform in Phenac City:
"What type of Pokémon is this?"
-Weather Pokémon
-Shadow Pokémon
-Evolution Pokémon

If you chose "Weather Pokémon," Castform would be freed from the Translator.

What does freeing from defective translators do?

You have to free all the Pokemon from the defective translators to get the Lucky Egg.

It enables all the pokemon you answered quizes for to do their cry again.

You anwser the questions right and the pokemon get their cry back. I heard some people call this the Lucky egg quest

Yes. Kaminko's defective translators are meant to translate Pokémon cries into human speech, but they instead muted the Pokémon they were put on. When freed, a Pokémon can once again cry like normal.
