It was a pleasent e-day in Pokerealm, and mild mannered CTrainer was just walking in the front gate. As soon as he walked inside he was greeted by many adoring fans, such as Pressure the Great, Nicoli and WootyMcWoot, who announced in PM, 'Way to cut it close this time CT'
'Well you know me, I'm always right on time,' Said CTrainer, 'when are they posting the pairings?'
Right then and there, Zero, also known as zeroality, posted the round one pairings. CTrainer didn't listen, he was focused intensely on the man he wanted to battle - NZ-1337. Then, Zero announced;

NZ exclaims a call of distress, and runs to comfort his Tyranitar, but is reminded by the official that if he gets onto the Battle Arena, he will be disqualified. CTrainer, thinking nothing of this like the cool collected young man he is, expected a switch to a Skarmory or something else of that sort, switches to Milotic, and lo and behold, a Skarmory switches in. CTrainer orders his trusty Milotic to Surf, and it hits the incoming Zapdos for roughly a third of it's health. However, not willing to risk Snorlax in to wall Zapdos just yet with Sandstorm out, CTrainer brings in his Celebi who is hit by a critical hit Thunderbolt. Celebi Leech Seeds Regice on the switch, and Regice's Thunder misses Snorlax.

CTrainers secret weapon is revealed, and doesn't think that Skarmory will stay in, so Focus Punches on the switch to Venusaur, doing practically no damage. CTrainer is in a sticky situation, since Venusaurs always carry Sleep Powder which has the ability to incapacitate any pokemon hit by it! He switches to Donphan who normally is of no use to him besides spinning spikes, and NZ's Skarmory is practically dead anyways! Venusaur connects with Sleep Powder and Donphan falls into a deep slumber. CTrainer switches in Celebi whom Venusaur can barely hurt, while NZ switches in his Skarmory, looking for a chance to Rest. At the sight of CTrainer's fearsome creature, NZ switches to Regice who takes the Psychic with no sign of damage. CTrainer is afraid of STAB Ice Beam however, so;

CTrainer frowns, as a big wrinkle has been thrown in his strategy, but shrugs it off as NZ exclaims 'YES!'. Snorlax stays frozen as NZ switches to his towering Tyranitar, but CTrainer does not yet know if it is the Dragon Dance or Subpunch variety. CTrainer switches to Milotic, who counters both kinds quite well, and eats a Earthquake which does barely nothing to it, but confirms CTrainers suspiscions that it is a Dragon Dance Tyranitar. Milotic, after last episode, predicts a Zapdos switch and uses Ice Beam, hitting Zapdos for a little less than 50%. NZ's bird of myth uses Rest and replenishes it's HP on the switch to Celebi, who Leech Seeds the incoming Regice. NZ predicts a switch to Snorlax, and goes to Tyranitar who is recovering with Leftovers at a frightening rate. NZ switches to Swampert on the switch to Milotic, and then to Zapdos while Milotic Surfs. CTrainer, hoping to take a risk, switches to Salamence as Zapdos Sleep Talk Thunderbolts and does a hefty amount of damage.

CTrainer decides to be rash, and uses Rock Slide again as NZ switches to Swampert. Tyranitar keeps regaining health, and CTrainer is worried by this. Celebi switches in on a Swampert Curse and then Leech Seeds it while being hit with an Ice Beam. Celebi's Leech Seed PP is running out, as the PP Ups rule is not being enforced! CTrainer then Leech Seeds again to get the Regice who is switching in, and then uses Recover as Regice Rests. Celebi Calm Minds on the switch to Tyranitar, and then Leech Seeds a switch to Venusaur, being outpredicted on all counts, and begins to feel the heat. Celebi Calm Minds again on the switch to Tyranitar, and then Leech Seeds it while Tyranitar Dragon Dances. Tyranitar Rock Slides and flinches Celebi, and then Rock Slides CTrainers switch to a (sleeping) Donphan, for minimal damage. They then both switch, to Swampert and Celebi respectively. Celebi Calm Minds while Swampert Ice Beams, and Recovers on the switch to Tyranitar. CTrainer switches in Salamence onto a Dragon Dance, but Salamence who has barely any life won't be able to do much damage in this game. Tyranitar Rock Slides for the KO.
5-5 Tie
CTrainer brings in Regirock, who Earthquakes the incoming Venusaur. Celebi comes in on a Hidden Power Fire, and then Regirock comes in on another one. Venusaur Leech Seeds as Regirock explodes, hoping to get rid of this menace.
4-4 Tie
CTrainer and NZ bring in Milotic and Tyranitar, and Milotic sweeps a Surf at Regice, doing minimal damage. Milotic Surfs again, then Recovers, Surfs and takes a Thunder, then Hypnosis's a resting Zapdos. CTrainer switches in Celebi on the Zapdos while Zapdos slumbers, and Calm Minds on the switch to Regice, then uses Psychic, coming just 11% short of a KO while Regice Rests. Celebi Calm Minds on a switch to Tyranitar, and Leech Seeds it while it Dragon Dances. Celebi Recovers on a Dragon Dance, and then switches to Donphan on another Dragon Dance. Tyranitar Earthquakes for 45%~ damage, and does it again as Donphan uses Rock Slide, bringing Tyranitar down to 10%, because he is still taking Leech Seed damage. CTrainer switches to Celebi on a Rock Slide, and then switches back to Donphan who takes it, and Tyranitar faints.
4-3 CTrainer
CTrainer sighs to himself, as Tyranitar is taken care of, but it was a major thorn in his side, when it should've been taken care of on the first turn. However, it didn't really hurt that much, killing a weakened Salamence and weakening a Donphan who serves no purpose. Swampert comes out and Ice Beams a switch to Celebi, who CTrainer thought would survive, but it dies to Sand Stream.
3-3 CTrainer
CTrainer brings in Milotic, who expects a switch to Zapdos who is going to wake up on it's next attack, and Ice Beams the Regice who came in. CTrainer then switches to Snorlax who is still frozen, and Regice slumbers on.
