cut skipping

ok you know that "mew under the truck thing trick" in the old games, is the truck still in lg or fr. i was just wondering if anyone tried this. as far as i know here is what you gotta do:
1) never get the cut from the captain in ss anne
2) go to any pokemon center and trade a pokemon from fr or lg that knows cut
and transfer it to ur fr or lg
3)battle ur way through ur game and until u get surf, go back to vermillion
4) go to where ss anne is
5) surf to right until you reach land
6)find the truck
well thats all i know how bout u guys, have u tried this?

no there isnt a way to get mew that i know of check the main site but im sure theres no trick

No, the only way to get Mew is from a Nintendo event or from Emerald if you get a Nintendo item, forgot the exact name Deep Sea Chart or something.

The truck is still there. There's a hidden Lava Cookie by it! ^o^ There isn't, nor was there ever a Mew present there.

(I was the first in my family to play past Vermilion, so I never got to see the truck. )

The truck is still there, but no Mew. It is only available through Emerald and them Nintendo Events. You find a Lava Cookie though !

The truck is still there, but it doesn't hold Mew. You can get a Lava Cookie if you press A on the truck, though. But there is no Mew. And the Trainer Glitch has been fixed as well, so there's no way you can get Mew LEGALLY unless you pre-ordered some sort of ticket.

In the new games the codeing was totally redone, so no mew trick, and to the best of my knowlage the truck isnt there either.

Yeah, the truck is still there, but Mew isn't under it, same as the old rumor before. All there is is just a Lava Cookie near it.
