You probably don't see me much, but oh well, I've seen you a fair few times..

Okay, on topic...
The revamps... Absolutely incredible, maybe even the best I've ever seen. No, I'm serious. You editted more than just colours, perfected any errors from the old sprites to make them look far more up-to-date. I'd say you pulled off croconaw the best of all of them; and cyndaquil's flame is a nice touch. Perhaps, IMO, the outlines could be a little darker. Not black. But darker. Also, perhaps you could edit croconaw a little because the red bit on its head looks a little like.. well, a fringe.

Your sprites... Nice work on just about all of them once again. The D/P girl is a little out of proportion imo, I dunno, her head seems a little small to me. Pikachu's head is a little weird too. I also think butterfree's colours need to be a bit stronger. Apart from that, they're all awesome. I do really like the one of you, but the darkness of the outline doesn't fit in with that of your other sprites.

TC Backgrounds are cool. Dunno what to suggest, never done em before.

And the D/P Screenshot is great apart from the fact it's hard to see who's attacking who, it's just the fact that leaves wouldn't come out of pochama that makes it obvious.

Oh well... Hope I've helped. :)

You're leaving?!?! But I enjoy good spriter's sprites... and you're leaving for a dumb reason o_O... well, since this is your last thread, I'll find some crit

Your outlines on Charmander, Metapod, and Pikachu make them look too skinny. Your poses are okay, but your Mew's pose could be a lot more creative. Your revamps are great and I like how you edited Croconaw's eyes.

I think the scratch of you needs more shading, and the outline could be fixed around the arms and hands... I wouldnt worry too much though, as scratching trainers is hard. HOwever, Hikari's head is oddly shaped. I think the hat should be wider (fatter whatever) and her arms should be fatter. No comment on the trainer card backgrounds, since you know, trainer cards are pretty basic.

Is that a pear on the DP battle scene... o_O I think it needs shading under its eyes, but the battle scene itself is okay.

Well thats all from me... overall good sprites. Not great, but good sprites.

Don't Leave D-Man your a great spriter. I feel your leaving for Foolish reasons. I think the reason that they post in new peoples sprite threads is to turn them into spriters like you.

Okay now on topic..
The sprite of you looks odd. If you were trying to make it look like the games it needs work. If not it's awsome, Perfectly shaded. I also love the screen shot.

I urge you to stay D-Man. But if you choose to leave I wish you the best.

All the cool people and good spriters are leaving - WHY?

Your revamps are loads better than most - Instead of just recolouring you re-shaded the sprites or where the shading was you moved it!
Scratches-
Your scratches are amazing - it must be the shading and positions... The only 1/2 bad ones are the you and pikachu. The you because alot of the outline is black or a dark colour. Pikachu because the eyes are the wrong shape and they don't feel pokemonish... also, the left arm is far too deep into the body...

I like your TC backgrounds - they are very unique, simple yet somehow very eyecatching. Even the last one is good because it feels like it is ment for devamped pokemon, yet again very original.

The screen and fakemon is very good - They just are...




PLEASE DON'T GO!!!!

I understand what you mean. I'm nowhere as good as you, but I hardly get ANY replies and I get alot of looks. xP Anyways, your sprites are amazing. Your trainers are a little small though.

Becuase Serebii has fallen into the hands of a younger and... Less serious(?) generation. It's my opinion that all the posts go to new spriter's threads becuase these "noobs" want as many posts added to their count as humanly possible. They see that they've posted "cool. i like it. keep it up." in your thread once and they never come back. Not many like to take the time to actually look at the work, either. Post'n'go.

Im not too keen on the revamps... The colours are rather light (Try FG/FR) but Croconaw looks pretty good. Some of your scratch sprites are really good too. I like the Charmander,Weepinbell and Butterfree especialy, though the Gastly's only flaw is that it looks a bit large.

Why are u leaving? just ignore what the begginers spriters say. your talented so i hope to see your sprite work in a game in the future. The revamps are exellent and the scratches are a little faint but as you said, your not a pro so i don't excpect them 2 be perfect. i give your sprites a 97/100. sad to see that your leaving since there are tons of noobs on the forums nowadays.

Basically, your revamps are very good, but Croconaw's head needs editing a little.

D/P Girl has really weird proportians, as do some of the scratches, they look like pixel overs/ eye traces of Ken Sugimori's art, there's nothing wrong with that, but I'd prefer to see some original poses, as your shading is quite good.

Your proportioning is pretty weird on many of the scratches. Charmander's eyes are different sizes, Pikachu's head is way too small, Hikari's skirt is too wide and her hea too small, and Horsea's too fat. The shading is also really flat on Charmander, Butterfree, and some of the others. Btw, Oddish has too many leaves.

Also, the Vaporeon is not scratch, it's edit. -_-
