D/P Graphics

Ok, I was a little disappointed in the fact that D/P isn't 3-D, but the new sprites look great. Another thing I was disappointed in was the male trainer. He has that stupid hat and scarf. I was hoping for a more masculine trainer with cooler clothes, or at least a create-your-own-character feature. If you look really closely here:http://www.serebii.net/diamondpearl/pics.shtmlat the town pictures, it looks like they did manage to use some 3-D graphics in the region, i.e. the houses. I also want to point out the battles. The Pokemon level/HP box looks great and so does the background. This is my opinion. Discuss.

And i dunno the trainer does look odd from a distance but who knows. i wont care none the less.

Uh, who is "Ezzet", exactly? If you're talking about Eszett, he's not even a mod.

And I think you are refering to a general screen thread, this is a graphic thread. Really I am not disappointed about the graphics.

Yes, its both 2d and 3d.
And thats how I wanted the game to look like.

yes, this game looks just like Dragon Warrior/Quest 7 for playstation, which is great!
the only thing i'm dissapointed in is the battle screens looks straight out of ru/sa ;/ hopefully its just the screens and the battles are great as well.

as for the male trainer, he's not that bad, he just looks too much like a french ash.

Those graphics are definitely 3D. Just because it is in a bird's eye view doesn't make it not 3D.

If you want to get technical, the graphics were 3D ever since Red and Blue, because it had three dimensions. X, Y, and Z. (Floor, Walls, Roofs).

I must admit that I was dissapointed when I first saw the screens.. But for me that only means that I'm a *******.. I always said that I would like 2d just as well as 3d... I do still think they could have done some more work on the battle scenes though..

yeah, the male trainer should look like a hip-hop gangsta, with scars and gold chains everywhere, and tattoos....-.-

damn, just because he has a scarf he is a sissy? I think it looks awesome. It´s the first time I like a male trainer more than the female one. Scarfs a neat, the hat is cool as well, get over your stereotypes.

I think the graphics look great. This is just what I was expecting. I also like how both the trainers look,there is nothing wrong with them.

If so there is a problem with your eyes

I am so pleased with the graphics. When I first heard about D/P being on the DS, I was terrified it was going to be in full 3D because I like the more traditional look. And now to see a mix of the 2D with the 3D it's awsome.
