It's not going to be Obsidian or Amethyst, as they're a bit too hard to pronounce for the young'uns. I'm guessing either Ivory, Marble, or Opal, as all are easy to pronounce and fairly well known.

Let's see. Ivory, Opal, and Quartz all sound good to me. o.o But it seems a bit early to be predicting things. We need to wait and see what the legendary setup is, for one thing. They named it Emerald because of Rayquaza and Crystal because of Suicune, so there ya go. I mean, if Rayquaza had been purplish-red, they'd have probably named it Pokemon Garnet. >.o

Technically, zirconium refers to the metal. The material used in fake diamonds, cubic zirconium, would be a bit too much of a mouthful, says I.

I know it's going to be a mineral of some sort, but I would effervesce with mirth should they ever name this game or any subsequent games Pokemon Tungsten. <3

But otherwise, I would vouch for something sexy like Obsidian or Topaz.
