Dark and Disturbing Cartoon Theories

I'm new so my first post will be in the dark and disturbing cartoon theory thread, perfectly normal.

I've been throwing around this theory in my mind that the My Life as a Teenage Robot series was based on Wakeman making the failed XJ bots based on dead children of hers or those of relatives or friends. XJ-9 was made in memory of a daughter named Jennifer who died of a terminal illness at 15 and always wanted to be a superhero.

That's my theory, not really disturbing or making sense.

Spongebob has seen all of his friends naked. Does that tickle your fancy?

.... Provide proof please, because you said porn wasn't allowed in children's TV shows. Just because you see someone naked doesn't mean you lust for them. Get over your stupid idea that Spongebob is based of the seven sins.

I heard the strange theory that the entire series of Digimon Savers/Data Squad was all a simulation on Izzy's laptop.

And speaking of computers, there's the disturbing theory that the world of Mega Man Battle Network is a dystopian future with no internet freedoms, with the mere mention of downloading a simple file (whether it's illegal software or not) is met not necessarily with outright deletion, but incredibly heavy and imposing restrictions or fines, since everyday life has become so ingrained to the internet that even the stove is connected to the internet. The Undernet, while being the home to the most dangerous criminals on the internet, is the only remaining place in the entire internet that still shares information freely and without limits or fear of persecution, and the users of the Undernet are the only people who make a stand for the freedoms the internet is supposed to represent (despite most of them being terrorists). Now imagine if the real life internet was like that...

Interesting theories, but The 7 Horrifying Moments from Classic Kid Movies is more disturbing because of how canonized it is in that universe.

In fact, the scene in Mickey Mouse and the Beanstalk where Donald Duck lost it may be the most disturbing because there is some realism in that when it comes to famine, same with the Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Though of course, I wonder if drunk/tripped-out people have seen some form of pink elephants before...

I was talking to a friend once and she mentioned that, in one of the old cartoon movies with donald duck, mickey mouse, etc. (I'm thinking it was 3 Amigos or something), the cacti in the movie are supposed to be phallic symbols. Never seen the movie so I have no idea if this is true.

Another one I've heard is that Spongebob is gay, assumably with Patrick. Don't know that I believe it, but I guess it would tie into Spongebob supposedly representing lust.

I've also heard it mentioned that Scooby and Shaggy are always high, which is why they're always looking for food.
The seven deadly sins of Spongebob are not a theory. The creators purposely designed them that way.
Where did you hear this?

When was Sandy? I can believe he's seen the others.

I remember following a link through TV Tropes about the personality disorders of the characters of Winnie the Pooh, but I couldn't find it. So I Google'd it and I believe I found it, but it downloads as a .pdf onto your computer. So... here's the link to it.

It's an interesting read.

Can't believe that no-one's posted 'The Simpsons predicted 9/11 theory'

[img139]http://splitsider.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/simpsons911.jpg[/img139]

This image was featured in the episode 'The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson'. First broadcast in September '97, this was the episode where Homer has to go to the Twin Towers to retrieve his clamped car. A crackpot theory, however that image is undoubtedly uncanny.

Ive heard a Rugrats one that says Tommy was a stillborn and his dad became a toy inventor to make toys for his non-existent son and the whole thing was a figment of Angelicas imagination as a way of coping with her negligent parents.

I remember hearing of this one ...

So creepy and I can actually imagine it ... *shudders*

I haven't found another theory, but I just remembered I didn't explain what makes Donald's insane moment disturbingly realistic.

Well, everyone should know the horrendous experiments Nazi scientists have done. One of them dealt with the brain and the effects it has on the person. Everyone also should know a person can survive for about a month without food as long as they have plenty of water to drink. Well, the body stores fat in case there is a shortage of nutrients being consumed for a small period of time. Two-thirds of your brain is made of fat.

Guess which of the organs your body goes for first in consumption of fat?

So the reason behind Donald's insanity may be because he's getting holes in his brain. It's not known how long they were starving for, though, so it's hard to make this assumption without a time period.

You don't think with fat. Fat is energy storage and padding/insulation.

The Rugrats thing is nonsense. Tommy Pickles is not stillborn, he's a Time Lord. Google it. In fact, Ash is too.

Has nobody mentioned Bert and Ernie yet?

I don't really believe in dark theories/conspiracies in, you know, entertainment that is meant for younger audiences. But I still love reading some of them! XD Anyway, here are some video game ones:

I'm sure you all herd of this one, but I'll mention it anyway. In Earthbound, Giygas' lair, the devil machine could resemble female reproductive systems. And when you finally fight Giygas (the final boss) one of its forms it takes on resembles a fetus. And now the popular theory that Ness and co. travels back in time to when Giygas was a fetus, his weakest form, and basically kill him resembles an abortion, comes up. Seriously, when I saw his(?) fetus form I nearly shat bricks.

I've read one about Gary and his Raticate in Red/Blue. http://*******.com/view.php?pic=vovcyp&s=5

This one might not be dark but I still think it is interesting anyway. Basically, all of the Legend of Zelda games are the same story being told but with different variations because of it being passed down from each generation with the events that happened in Hyrule. With this in mind, there won’t be a chronological order for each of the games or a timeline. Hence why it is called the Legend of Zelda; real life legends have altered stories when passed down from generation to generation. Or the series is just the same story but told by different people, resulting in different stories or different games. I actually want to believe the theory, but since it’s official that there is a timeline, it kind of throws me off. ^^"

I’ll try to find some cartoon/anime ones later.

I've never played Earthbound, but I recall reading that some of Giygas' lines during the fight were inspired by a rape scene from a movie one of the developers walked into on as a kid.

I know you don't think with fat, but the brain is made up of mostly fat. If the body eats away at the fat for nutrition, that'll mean eating holes through it. When the brain loses mass and parts of its anatomy, your subconscious goes wonky as functions start failing. And you say it's padding, so that would mean the brain is losing its protection when the fat thins out.
