Dark and Metal energy. Too rare?

I believe that now we have the EX DELTA etc. released and a quarter of the pokemon need Metal or Dark energys, those energys are too darned rare.

I expect they'll be more common in EX: Holon Phantoms and EX: Crystal Guardians. But don't forget, Darkness- and Metal-type Pokémon are normally very powerful.

nah, its easy to get dark and metal energy its been reprinted way too many times i know i have at least 40 dark and high 20's metal i've accumulated over the years, if you can't seem to find any on booster packs, trade for them, many people (specially older players) should have plenty and would gladly trade 4 of them for a uncommon trainer.

I bought a box of Holon Phantoms and have no Dark/few Metal energies. The only ones I have are from two Championship decks with the people's signatures on them. Which means that I can't use them.

All the ones that I have are from the old sets, which means that I can't use them in tournaments, which is where I mainly play. So yes indeed, I find the two energies rare.

But I don't use them anyways... XD

You can use any copy of Metal/Darkness energy, but you must also know that you will be playing them as if they have the most recent text on them. So you can play with the Neo Genesis Darkness/Metal Energies if you wish.

i have bought 11 boosters and i got 3 dark.metal energies.

I don't think they're that rare. Especially if you can buy the pre-made decks that have them (Steeplechase, Breakthrough, etc.). I've got one each of the Darkness, Metal, and Dark Metal Energy cards from booster packs.

I'll give you some if you really want them, I give away a lot of cards, ask the kidas at my league who have a blaziken ex and 2 rayquaza ex from me. sometimes being a good friend/character is more important than cards.

I do have the most recent copies of the Dark/Metal energies. It's just that they are banned from tournament play. The packaging on the decks I go them from say "Not for tournament play." The backs are marked differently, the fronts have the people's signatures on them. I'm not about to lose my chances to play in the tournies because of that.
