Co-GM: Flame Mistress and ______

Story

Ever wonder what happens to you after you die? Any chance says that a lot of people wonder. There could be many possibilities, but the most two common one are; are you sent to heaven? What about Hell? But you know what, nobody will never really know until you actually die. But the catch is, nobody really wants to die, the human will is just sometimes too strong, and the will to live is sometimes underestimated. When faced with the possibility of death most people cringe and shy away, others hide their fear by explaining that death doesn't scare them. But sometimes death comes suddenly, and you have to accept that in the end, and you can't avoid death. However, what if death was the start of something new, something that you'd never even dream of. Could it be possible to start your life over again, getting the chance to relive your life the right way. The way you wanted it to go with no problems or mistakes that burdened you before you died. Just, are you able to learn to adapt to the fact that you had actually died and will never see those you cared for and loved ever again?

Plot

Nobody really expects to die, it comes as a complete surprise to the human race, one second you're alive, and the next minute it's brutally ripped away from you all in a split second. Did you want to die? Even after you think about it, it dawns on you that nobody really wants to die regardless of what you were thinking. With your life ripped away from you so early, you never really got to live the life you wanted because your parents refused to let you become a Pokemon trainer because they thought that you'd make a brilliant scholar, or you joined some sort of evil organization and messed up so bad that there was no chance to right your wrongs. Well, ever thought of changing your identity? Did you ever want a second chance at life? Well here's your chance to live your life the way you wanted. For some freak reason, you awake in a brightly lit room that, upon closer inspection, seems to be a hospital room. There's many foreign sounds around you, as well as smells, and while most people think they're in the hospital, others will realize that something is evidently wrong, they should be dead. Not living and breathing! They just died didn't they? Well yes you did just die, for whatever reason you're dead and now you've woken up in a strange place.

Okay now what? Why are you here hooked up to machines, living and breathing? Well the truth was as your spirit was making it's way to the other world, it was snatched up by people from an alternate dimension. When in this dimension, your body will be like it was back on earth, just with some slight flaws. Weather it be ears or a tail or even both, you now have Pokemon features on some point of your body. Hey they had to give you a second chance somehow, and what's better then giving you Pokemon genes and experimenting on you. The experiments do have their benefits, you're stronger and faster and you have more acute senses then before. You even have elemental powers that rival a Pokemon's. Sounds good right? Sure, but there's one flaw. You have to attend a school, Dark Bliss Academy that is, where you learn to channel your new powers and you don't get too freaked out about the drastic changes that came upon your life, and even your death. At first glance the Academy seems nice, but even Dark Bliss has it's own dirty, dark secrets that are better left alone.......

Location/ some info

Located in this world's equivalent to Goldenrod city, Dark Bliss academy, or DBA for short, is located where the wifi tower is located in the HG/SS games. It is a vast building with both male and female dorm rooms where the students reside. It is considered a haven for the most part, with many game rooms, a library, a huge computer lab, a cafeteria, and many other places. The students are allowed to roam the town and the routes surrounding the town. They are allowed to capture Pokemon that surround the areas (Pokemon that reside there are from every region so they're all free game). The only requirement is that the students return to the academy at 10PM otherwise they will be tracked down, equipped with a tracking device for a month, and won't be able to leave school grounds for one week. School days are only four hours a day, from 11AM to 3Pm, during those hours the students participate in classes where they learn how to control their powers and participate in a gym class to keep in shape. After about three years the students are allowed to leave the campus and start their own Pokemon journey, but many don't live long enough to see the day.

Zack Stone || Burned Tower

The Burned Tower seemed like the perfect place to explore. Maybe some new Pokemon were there, after all, there was a rumour that three legendary Pokemon were in a slumber in the tower's basement. Zack Stone was curious about the rumours going around so he decided on checking it out. His sneaker tapped the old wood floor, causing the sound to echo throughout the tower. It was dimly lit, with charred parts scattering what was left of the tower. Blue eyes lazily scanned the area, a few Golbats were eyeing him from afar, hanging from a wooden support beam, their wings wrapped around their bodies, and sharp eyes, developed for the darkness eyed him every step of the way. A few Zubats were hanging beside their evolution, though they lacked eyes, Zack could see their ears twitching at every sound he made. They were quite the interesting Pokemon in truth. But they weren't the ones that Zack was looking for.

The male pulled a piece of paper from his left pocket, it was stolen from a loud-mouthed traveller who was boasting about how he was going to capture the sleeping legendaries that resided in the Burnt Tower. He had pulled out a paper and had showed it to a small crowd, unlucky for him, Zack just so happened to be part of the crowd, and when he wasn't looking he stole the paper and casually walked away. Now here he was exploring the tower for the legendaries. He came to a set of stairs leading down to a lower level of the tower, he went down with extreme caution, after all the who knows how unstable the stairs could be. He had reached the last few steps when he had tripped and landed on his face onto the wood. The action stirred up a lot of dust, and started some sleeping Koffing. In a panicked state, the purple gas Pokemon's body lit up and one by one they started exploding.

The mass explosion set the tower ablaze once more, and the fire spread fast. Zack stood up and tried to escape when a burning support beam fell on top of him, striking him in the middle of the back. Ngh, can't....feel...my legs... He thought meekly as smoke quickly filled the room. Zack was having trouble staying awake in this situation, his lungs were screaming for oxygen in a matter of minutes, and the fire blazed around him. A loud crack sounded from above him and burning rubble crashed down upon the trapped Pokemon Trainer.

Zack Stone || Dark Bliss Academy

Beep, beep, beep... A beeping sound rose Zack from a slumber. His mind felt all fuzzy and he was having problems remembering how he had fallen asleep. He opened his eyes a crack, to get used to the light, then all the way. To his amazement, he was in a well lit white room. He sat up in the bed and started to look around in confusion. It seemed like he had somehow landed himself in a hospital room - though he had no clue how he ended up in there. He frowned in confusion and then something hit him like a ton of bricks. That was right, he was trapped in the Burned Tower! Or, at least he was. Who rescued him? He crossed his arms as he tried to think about this situation. Hmmm.... He made the thinking sound just as a pretty pink haired woman was passing by his room.

She stopped what she was going to do and entered Zack's room, Hey you're awake! I never expcted to see you awake so soon. She seemed thrilled to see him awake.

Ah um, Nurse Joy, can you please tell me how I got here and if you have any clue what happened prior to me getting here?

A grim look crossed Joy's face and she sighed. Well to tell the truth you are no longer on earth, you died in a fire, and we decided on giving you a second chance. Now you're here. He flashed Zack a weak smile.

W-wait, so I actually died? He was dumbfounded.

Joy nodded, Yes, we did everything we could to save you. She gestured to his body before pulling out a mirror and showing him what happened. It looked he now had dark marks around his eyes, and a fluffy tail has sprouted from his rear. It was black and was swaying back and forth. Zack couldn't help but whimper.

If Nurse Joy heard the whimper she choose to ignore it. Here, this will explain everything. She handed him a piece of paper and left before he had the chance to ask any questions. Zack sighed and read the paper.

Located in Goldenrod city, Dark Bliss academy, or DBA for short, is located in the western part of the town. It is a vast building with both male and female dorm rooms where the students reside. It is a haven for the most part, with many game rooms, a library, a huge computer lab, a cafeteria, and many other places. You students are allowed to roam the town and the routes surrounding the town. After about three years you are allowed to leave the campus and start your own Pokemon journey.

It is now time to find your dorm room, on the bottom of this paper is your dorm number. All your stuff and your Pokemon will be waiting for you when you get there.

Dorm Number for Zack Stone: 34

Zack was bewildered, it had his name on it. How did Joy know... never mind, she would have to know she was a nurse and they more or less had his record on file. Okay, so now he had to find dorm room 34. To his right he noticed a set of clothing, it was a black T-shirt, socks, sneakers, underwear, a hat and a pair of slacks. Zack quickly changed into the said items and began to explore the place, and hopefully he would be able to find his dorm without too much of a hassle.

It was supposed to be a routine mission. Use his styler to calm some angry Pokemon near the mountains before they did serious damage. He had done similar tasks before with success, his superiors even let him go off on his own figuring this was easy. but this would turn out to be anything but.

While capturing some Pokemon with his styler to help on this mission, a few enraged Golems appeared. "GOOOOOLEM!!!" They shouted while stamping their feet. Suddenly, the earth shook, and huge boulders slid down from the mountain nearby. The ranger ran as fast as he could to escape them, but to no avail. Soon he was buried under many huge boulders. He tried screaming for help, but no one could hear him, suddenly, things went black.

DBA Dorm Room

The green haired, red eyed, young man sat straight up in his bed. He was wearing nothing but a pair of red boxers. He was derenched in sweat and he was breathing hard. He had awoke from a nightmare.

His Pokemon, Karla the Gardevoir seemed to sense this, and went over to him. "It's ok, everything's going to be fine." she telepathically said to her trainer. She was trying her best to console him.

"I failed my misson. Because of me, a whole town was destroyed. Because of my failure several people were hurt, even killed. While even more were left homeless. Now my family is left in tears because I'm "dead" and I'll never be able to see them again. Yeah, everything's going to be great." Leo responded with a hint of anger in his voice that was noticeably out of character for him.

"It's not your fault, and I'm sure they forgive you. Besides, you're not dead, you're here at DBA with me."

Leo smiled at the thought. While the fact he was "dead" gave him chills, he did come to like the new powers he gained by being given Gallade genes. Especially being able to communicate with his best friend Karla, though it was strange at first. He was also glad she could still be here with him to talk.

"Now come on, get dressed and let's start the day." The Psychic type Pokemon then used Telekinesis to pull some clothes out of the boy's closet. A white tank top, a pair of jeans, a belt to hold up those jeans, a pair of sneakers, and a pair of goggles that the boy always wore on top of his head. Leo got dressed, brushed his teeth, combed his hair (One strand on the back of his head always stood up.) and put deodorant under his armpits. Then, he grabbed an apple and chomped into it before he and Karla walked out of the room together.

Rory Stewart
Jubilife City/Dream

“Hey we’re gonna head over to the TV station, they’re doing some special thing” came the voice of a soothing and sweet female voice. Rory Stewart lifted his emerald green eyes off his coffee and looked to the source of the voice. Opposite of him sat his good friend Alice, her long dark brown wavy hair cascading over her shoulders, and her piercing blue eyes stared into his.
“Sounds fun” Rory said, turning to look at his other two friends. A large muscular teen with long black hair sat diagonal from Rory as he tapped his fingers in a four beat rhythm on the table. His name was Brian. Next to Rory sat Rachael, an opinionated girl with shorter blond hair.
“So you are coming?” Brian asked, clearly wanting to get out of the café they were in.
“Nah, I’ll think I’ll pass. You know how I’m not a big fan of that stuff. Besides, I wanted to check the library out and I know how that just bores you.” Rory said.
“Typical” Rachael muttered as she finished her drink.
“Well we better get going then” Alice announced as she stood up.
Rory stood up as well just as Brian and Rachael did. The group moved for the door, and Rory quickly opened it with the ring of a bell.
“Alright, I guess we’ll see ya later then. Meet us here in about an hour?” Brian said, patting Rory on the back as he moved to cross the street at the crosswalk.
“Yeah I’ll catch up to you in an hour.” Rory said. Rory watched as Brian, Alice and Rachael darted across the street and ran into the Jubilife TV building. Rory smiled slightly and turned to walk with the crowd towards the library.

Once at the library, Rory shuffled his blue and silver running shoes on the mat and quietly made his way over to the mythology section. He scanned through the numerous books, picking some out every now and then. One such book caught his attention enough that he walked over to a table and set the brown book down. He sat down on the wooden chair and rolled up the sleeves on his red shirt up to his elbows. He carefully opened the old book and began to read about the myths of the creation of the universe.

Before he knew it, Rory was lost in the book and an hour had long past. When he finished reading a section, he realized he was supposed to meet his friends nearly thirty minutes ago. He quickly put the book away and made his way out of the library. If only he could have spent some more time reading that book. He put his hands above his head as he quickly walked along the sidewalk back to the café for it had started to rain. His pace turned to a quick jog. Oh how he wished he had more time. He neared the café and soon saw his friends across the street looking impatient. He waved to them as he quickly looked down the street. It wasn’t that busy, he could jaywalk. He made sure nothing was coming and stepped off the curb to go meet his friends.

Apparently he hadn’t looked well enough, as as soon as Rory stepped out from behind a parked car he could hear a loud screeching. The next thing he knew he was thrown through the air and landed with a loud thud on the wet pavement as screams filled the air. Soon he could barely make out the sounds of sirens as the world started to fade from view. The last thing he remembered was the sight of Alice’s face crying as she ran her fingers through his short brown hair, trying to tell him that everything would be alright.

Rory Stewart
Dark Bliss Academy

Rory woke up from his dream gasping for air, with a pain in his chest. This was the sixth time this week that he had dreamed about of his death. Though this was no dream at all. Reliving his death was more like it, and it seemed to happen every time a new person arrived at the academy. Dark Bliss Academy it was called, located in Goldenrod City. The brochure called it a haven, but Rory knew what it truly was. It was a prison where they kept the lab rats.

He pushed the covers off him and stepped out of bed in his blue and black pajama pants. He walked over to the mirror above his head and stared at his face with cold steely blue eyes. He raised his hands and touched a silver tattoo like streak on his face. He turned his hands around and stared at the same pattern on his knuckles. Running his hands through his mop of dark blue hair with the occasional streak of light blue, he walked over to his personal bathroom attached to his dorm room.

As he showered, Rory thought of the incident that brought him here a year ago. He simply had died that day in Jubilife City when he was struck by the car. He remembered thinking if he only had more time, and Alice leaning over top of him. The next thing he knew he had woken up in a bright white room filled with doctors and machines whizzing about. The world seemed fuzzy and the doctors were screaming something. Apparently he had woken up too early during the procedure. After that, Rory found himself changed. They told him that he had in fact died, but they had managed to revive him through genetic testing experiments. Rory was quite smart but some of the stuff the doctors told him went in one ear and out the other. Basically the way Rory saw it was that he had died, these people had revived him by infusing him with the DNA of a Pokémon and in return he had to attend an academy for which they could monitor him. They told him that after several years that he would be free to go, but Rory doubted this. Rory tossed his towel to the side, and then quickly looked it with an intense gaze. His eye illuminated slightly and the towel froze in midair. Rory shot a look at the clock sitting on his dresser and saw that the seconds hand had stopped moving. Suddenly the clock started working again and the towel fell to the floor. Rory had been infused with the DNA of Dialga, and with it had come some special abilities.

Rory quickly got dressed, picking out a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt with a silver silhouette of a Braviary printed on it. He walked over to his bed stand and picked up the two Poké Balls on it that contained a Luxray and an Absol. He rubbed his eyes and opened his dorm room, number 33. He started across the room at number 34. A new kid was supposed to move in today.

Loke ~ Castelia City
Loke hurried down the stairs of the apartment where he and his parents lived. He was already late, but with a bit of luck, those bullies who always waited for him before the apartment building had left already. While he was sunken in though, he almost tripped, but he could catch the banisters just in time before he would fell down the stairs. That was close, he thought, though it didn’t matter much if he died here. It didn’t matter much, but when he caught his breath again, he raced further downstairs. When he was at the glass doors, he looked through them. Luckily, the bullies already left. Then he grabbed his bicycle and started cycling as fast as he could towards school. He didn’t want to get late for his presentation and his big surprise afterwards.

Loke ~ Castelia City High School
The presentation went rather well, he thought. ‘Good job Loke, it was very interesting’, Mrs. Goldkarp said. In the back of the class, Jonno, the leader of the bullies was awakened by his friends. ‘The brat appearantly did a good job Jonno’, one of them whispered, trying to prevent Mrs. Goldkarp from hearing him. ‘Did the brat not listen then?’, Jonno asked out loud. ‘I made it very clear that he should spoil this presentation. I guess that he didn’t attach much worth to his left arm after all. He just wants me to break it. Of course, I will. I won’t let anyone question my authority’. Loke was pretty sure that Mrs. Goldkarp could hear everything of what Jonno said, because Jonno didn’t whisper or anything. But still, Mrs. Goldkarp pretended not to hear it. ‘I have one surprise left’, Loke said to the class. ‘I wanted to thank you for the great life you gave me here, and especially you Jonno’. ‘Well, your welcome’, Jonno said puzzled, not noticing the sarcasm in the voice of Loke. ‘It’s funny, the thing a normal person would say in my position would be farewell’, Loke said while he drew his knife. ‘Wait Loke, what are you doing?!’, Mrs. Goldkarp called a bit desperate. ‘I however, am not that dramatic’, Loke continued, ignoring Mrs. Goldkarp. ‘I hope that you will soon join me rotting in hell!’, he shouted, and then he stabbed himself in the heart. It only hurt for a blink of the eye, just a quick feeling of pain in his heart, then he died. However, that moment was enough for Loke to see the stunned face of Jonno.

Loke ~ DBA
When he awoke, he was laying in a bed. There was a new weird feeling in his heart. When he looked at it though, there was nothing, not even a scar. Yet… there was a feeling in his heart that was spreading through his body. The feeling was weird, it felt like… power? Loke balled his fist, and when he closed his fist, the television on the back side of the room exploded. ‘AAARGH!’, Loke yelled. While the television, or what was left of it, a guy ran into Loke’s room and quickly created water out of nothing and shot it at the fire. There was something weird about this guy though, Loke noticed while the guy turned at him. ‘So you’re awake now?’, the guy said. ‘Good, I was getting bored already waiting for you’. Then Loke knew what was wrong, the guy didn’t have any ears and he didn’t have a nose, nor hair. His head was as polished like that of a Squirtle. ‘Here, take this’, the Squirtle-guy said, and he gave Loke a note. ‘Uhm… where am I?’, Loke asked the Squirtle-guy. ‘In DBA, the note will explain it’. ‘Who are you then?’, Loke asked. ‘I’m Kon, I’m a member of the staff here’, Kon said. After that he turned around and left. Loke looked through the room and studied it. It was completely white, like in a hospital. Well, not completely white, the television that exploded had burned away a bit of the wall, and that was black. Except for the bed and the television there was nothing in the room but a mirror. Wait… there was something, a security camera in one corner of the room. This didn’t surprise Loke, in a hospital it wasn’t weird to have security camera’s to make sure nothing went wrong with the patients. Then Loke turned his attention to the note Kon gave him. He opened it and it said:

Located in Goldenrod city, Dark Bliss academy, or DBA for short, is located in the western part of the town. It is a vast building with both male and female dorm rooms where the students reside. Dorm Number for Loke Areon: 77

An academy?, Loke thought, while he climbed out of his bed. He walked toward the mirror and looked in it. Nothing weird with me at least, Loke thought a bit more eased. Except for the fact that I’m in my underwear. Wait… my eyes! They are purple now… and bigger then the used to be. What’s happening with me? First I let a television explode, then my eyes have become purple. Is this a dream?, Loke’s mind raced. On that moment, Kon came back, but he said nothing, he just dropped some clothes on the bed. When Loke was about to ask some questions, Kon already had left. Loke changed into the items that Kon had left, and looked in the mirror again. He looked like someone who was about to go to a very, very expensive party.
‘Well, let’s try to find my room’, Loke sighed and he walked out of the hospital room. When he turned left, he saw a guy coming out of the room next to the hospital room where Loke awakened. It looked like he didn’t notice Loke yet, so he hurried the other way. He didn’t want to chat with the guy. He didn’t like it here, and he didn’t trusted the area and everything of this so-called academy.

It's so shiny!
Corina Malibu
Somewhere near Undella town

Rina's eyes fluttered open. A large amount of thick, gray smoke was making it's way through the car. Rina struggled to remember what happened moments ago. She felt around for her seatbelt and unclipped it, using only the dim light of the street lamp. Her brother's head was slumped against the partially broken window. Rina slided towards him a little and shook him. "Matthew?" she asked, shaking him again. "Matthew!" she repeated, after getting no answer. She muttered something under her breath and poked her head in between the middle of the two front seats. Neither of her parents were moving or breathing. Corina sighed and shed a tear. She moved towards her door and tried rattling the handle. Unfortunately, something jammed it on the other side. Rina began to cough. The smoke was getting thicker and she began to worry that if she inhaled anymore of it she might pass out. She pushed herself towards her broken window. The gap was fairly large so she might be able to slip through. Rina heaved herself up and then proceeded to push herself out of the window. She judged the size of the gap incorrectly and caused a large gash to appear down her right leg. Rina landed on the hard grass and clutched her right leg. She stood up weakly almost falling back down in the process. Blood was beginning to appear on the grass. Rina cursed again and slowly made her way forward. She was limping heavily and was in extreme pain. She needed to try and get the pain behind her so that she could attempt to find help. She moved a few steps forwards before her vision became blurry. Rina clutched the side of her head and let a painful groan. Suddenly, her kness gave way. She hit the floor with a loud thud. She tried to sream but all that came out was a 'Ughh' sound. Her whole body gave way a limply fell to the floor.

Rina's eyes snapped open and she jolted upright. When she awoke, she was in a white bed. She stared around the room. It was brilliant white in colour and smelt like medicine. Is this a hospital ward? Rina thought to herself. A sharp pain ran through her chest and she clenched the white bedsheets. "Ah I see your awake." A melodious voice said, from the left of Corina. Rina turned her head to the left and saw a very tall woman stood next to her. The woman had wavy red hair with two flowers on either side. She wore a long white gown and elbow high gloves. It was then that Rina noticed she had a faint green tone to her skin. "Where am I?" Rina asked. The woman smiled and handed her a piece of paper. "Your in DBA. This note should explain it." the woman said opening it for her. "I'm Flora a member of the staff." she added. Rina was about to reply herself when the woman left. This gave Rina a chance to read the note.

Thoughts began to whizz around Rina's mind. She pulled the sheets off of her and stood up. Her clothes were in the cupboard next to her. They were neatly folded and smelt like Lavender. She put her clothes on and dumped the white nightgown on the bed. She went to tug at the hat on her head but knocked her left eyebrow. She clenched her fist as a quick surge of pain ran through her body. "Well I better find my dorm then." she said making her way towards the door.

"Rainbow, quickly, use DragonBreath! Fluttershy, twist 'em round!" Jessica commanded her Flygon and Espeon. With a battle cry, Rainbow fired a beam of mystical light at the opponent's Garchomp and Flareon, and Fluttershy, using her psychic powers, miraculously split the DragonBreath into two separate beams, and twisted them so that they were flying in a spiral shape. It would've reached the opponent's Garchomp if his Flareon hadn't spun around with an Iron Tail and struck the intertwined beams, producing a small yet colourful explosion, and the colours reflected off Flareon's now steely tail to create beams of light and colours. This managed to knock off a little less than a quarter of Jessica's points - however, this was a big loss to her, especially since it was the Finals Match of the Kanto Grand Festival... Jessica gritted her teeth in frustration as she watched her points decrease on the scoreboard. She couldn't lose just now, especially not to that smug, arrogant brat, after having come such a long way!

"Change of plan, guys," Jessica yelled furiously. "Now Fluttershy, fire a Psybeam, maxi -"

Jessica was cut off by a loud bang which echoed through the stadium. All of a sudden, the whole arena was filled with screams, shouts, bangs, and crashes. Horrified, Jessica realised with a sudden weight in her heart what on earth was happening. She had managed to be caught up in a mass shooting spree.*

Bullets were flying everywhere, alarm bells were ringing in the air, and people were flying to the ground one by one. Jessica hurriedly returned her Pokémon to their Pokéballs, stuffed them in her pocket, and made a dash for the exit. However, just as she was about to burst through the door, she found herself face to face with a masked assassin, with a pistol in his hand.*

"Prepare to die," he hissed, venom dripping off each word that he said.*

"But why -" Jessica squeaked, a look of terror in her eyes, but she was cut off once again by a loud shot. Jessica didn't even have time to scream as a bullet seared straight through her heart, and with a thud, she fell to the ground, dead.*

Jessica Winton
Hospital Room?

To her surprise, Jessica was able to open her eyes again.*

"What...?" she asked herself, jolting upright in shock. Frantically, she looked around the room, and found herself in a crisp, white, hospital bed, inside a shining white room, to the point of being almost eye-blinding. The pain in her chest wasn't there anymore - it was as if she had never been shot in the chest at all - and she found that she could move around like a perfectly normal person.*

"But aren't I supposed to be dead?" Jessica muttered to herself. "Am I a ghost or something like that?"

She then saw a note by the bedside table, and her curiosity got the better of her as she reached down to read it.*

"Dear Jessica," she read out aloud, "If you're reading this, it means that you are now awake and free to go. You've probably noticed some changes, haven't you? Like a tail and a new set of ears?" Jessica gasped and felt around for her butt, and indeed, there was a finned tail growing out of it. "Anyway, you're probably wondering where you are, aren't you? Well, to put it simply, you're in Dark Bliss Academy."

"Dark Bliss Academy...?" Jessica thought to herself curiously, and continued on reading the note.*

"Located in Goldenrod city, Dark Bliss academy, or DBA for short, is located in the western part of the town. It is a vast building with both male and female dorm rooms where the students reside. It is a haven for the most part, with many game rooms, a library, a huge computer lab, a cafeteria, and many other places. You students are allowed to roam the town and the routes surrounding the town. You are allowed to capture Pokemon that surround the areas (Pokemon that reside there are from every region so they're all free game). The only requirement is that you return to the academy at 10PM otherwise you will be tracked down, equipped with a tracking device for a month, and won't be able to leave school grounds for one week. School days are only four hours a day, from 11AM to 3PM; during those hours you participate in classes where they learn how to control your new-found powers and participate in a gym class to keep in shape. After about three years you are allowed to leave the campus and start your own Pokemon journey."

"New powers..." Jessica gasped. "That's so cool! But that still doesn't explain whether I'm a ghost or not..."

"It is now time to find your dorm room, on the bottom of this paper is your dorm number. All your stuff and your Pokemon will be waiting for you when you get there."

And on the bottom of the note, there was an extra sentence written on it, and it said "Dorm Number for Jessica Winton: 16"

"Well, this sure is interesting," Jessica muttered under her breath, as she slowly rose from her bed, quickly changed into the clothes on the bedside table (she recognised them to be the ones she was wearing at the time of the, um, shooting), and decided to head to her dorm room - wherever the heck it was...

Night Triumphant
Caroline "Carly" McNamara
Mt. Chimney

Carly flicked away her used cigarette as she descended the rocky slope of Mt. Chimney. The sun was setting and she was heading for Lavaridge's Pokemon Center for the night. Carefully, she stepped down another ledge, reaching for another cigarette as well as her lighter from her bag's pocket as she walked on.

"SPOINK! SPOINKSPOINKSPOINK!"

"What the-..." Carly mumbled as she dropped her cigarette in shock, looking back. A bunch of scary, rampaging Spoink, running down in her direction. Carly started to run, keeping her eyes on the Spoink behind her, not wanting them to catch up. Unfortunately, she had forgotten to look forward. Her foot missed the next ledge, making her tumble down the volcano's face.

"Gah!" She exclaimed as she hurtled down. The terrain was rough, and her body was in no shape for this. She felt her body bruise and cut as she tumbled. The pain was unbearable, and she tried to close her eyes, telling herself it was a dream. But the pain...it was real. Very real.

Eventually, Carly landed violently at the foot of the volcano, several of her bones cracking at the impact, in addition to the possible fractures she incurred while falling. Her body suddenly felt colder, and very weak. Her vision started to cloud. Struggling to keep her head up, Carly tried to see what had happened to her, but her strength was sapping away. She felt wet blood flow all over her body, its scent making her head hurt even more. She tried to move her arm, but it only seemed to make her pain even worse.

"Damn...those Spoink became the death of me..." She thought as her body gave in to the pain and weakness, and became motionless as her eyes closed, death overtaking her.

Caroline "Carly" McNamara
Dark Bliss Academy

Carly's eyes fluttered open as she woke up to bright light. Sitting up slowly, she looked around and found herself in a bright white room.

Wait...so it was just another nightmare?

Carly was no stranger to nightmares. Ever since she was eight, she always had them, and they weren't normal nightmares either. They always seemed so real to her. Maybe this was another one? But she did feel herself die...so why was she awake now? She looked down at her arms and legs. No scars, no bruises. She touched her ribcage and found it intact.

If I'm supposed to be dead....then what the hell am I doing here?

Carly looked at the table next to the bed she was on, before taking notice of something odd behind her shoulder. A wing. Dark, shadowy and sinister-looking.

What the-...

She knew that she didn't have that throughout her twenty years of life, and she knew that it was impossible. But why did she have it? She looked at her other side and saw a second wing, similarly dark. She knew of only one Pokemon that had wings that looked like her own.

Darkrai. The Pitch-Black Pokemon of nightmares. Was this some cruel joke? She had frequent nightmares, and now she had parts of the nightmare Pokemon on herself? Shaking it off as perhaps, a side-effect of whatever medicinal drug they injected into her, Carly looked back at the table, discovering a note on top of it.

"Oh, you're awake..." A voice said. Carly looked up and saw that a man approached her. He looked seemingly normal, though he had long, thick red hair tied in an unruly bundle down to his knees, as well as a mass of black fur over his chest. Looking at him made Carly think of a Zoroark.

"Where am I? I swear, I'm supposed to be...dead or something...unless I slipped into some coma..." She asked, looking around. The Zoroark-man looked at her, concerned.

"You're in Dark Bliss Academy...that note will explain everything." He said, pointing at the piece of paper, which Carly then started to read.

Dorm number for Caroline McNamara: 66

Carly looked up, only to see that the Zoroark-man was gone. What powers? Were they connected to the wings she found on herself? It wasn't a hallucination after all? Maybe it was real. She noticed her own clothes on the bedside table, even her leather vest, presumably left by the Zoroark-man, as well as her Pokeballs. Putting on her clothes, slipping on her boots and strapping on her Pokeball belt, she then headed for the door and opened it, walking out to the hallway.

Well...I hope Room 66 is a ground-floor room...

Philosopher Knight
Diego Vendrix
Bell Tower

Diego had sent out Reaper during the intense Pokemon fight. There was a serious storm. Diego looked at his foe. There in front of him was a very dangerous man. He looked angry and upset. Pikachu was on Diego's shoulder as they were staring. Lightning danced across the sky. It was the last battle. Dusknoir had combined an Ice Punch and a Brick Break and finished off the last pokemon of the guy.

A fist fight occurred, but Diego managed to hold him for the police to get him. The rain got worse. Diego was breathing heavily and he was staring at the man. The man popped out and head-butted Diego. Diego slipped from the rain and from the impact, began to fall. He managed to toss Pikachu from his shoulder so he wouldn't get hurt with him.

Diego saw his life flash before his eyes. A thought passed through his mind... He was alone.

He hit the ground and passed out. He woke time later. There was no visitations. Besides his moms, no one came... All he had his Pokemon... Right before his moment of death, he let out one last cry.

He died 3 days after his fall. It was said on his deathday, a Ho-Oh was spotted in the sky and at night, the nurses claim the shadow of a Darkrai loomed over him.

Diego Vendrix
Dark Bliss Academy

Diego Vendrix woke up with a shock. He was not dead. He was alive. He could move his limbs. He wasn't dead. And yet, he felt... resurrected. But not the way he felted. He then rolled off and noticed something.

He was floating. Freaking out, he saw a nearby mirror. He was not human. He was a Pokemon. No, a hybrid. Not a Pokemorph, but a meld of human and Pokemon. He recognized it immediately. He looked like Dusknoir, specifically his, Reaper.

He heard a voice:

"Ah Mr. Diego. We are grateful you are alive and well. You had been brought back to life. However, we may have gone... overboard with the DNA of the Dusknoir. This explains your... more drastic change than the others," a voice said through a speaker. Interestedly enough, the voice was genuine.

He then noticed a piece of paper slipped under the door. He grabbed and began reading it.

Located in Goldenrod city, Dark Bliss Academy, or DBA for short, is located in the western part of the town. It is a vast building with both male and female dorm rooms where the students reside. Diego digested this. Well, he was going back to school. Well, joy. However, he wondered what kind of school this was. He wondered if he can learn some art or stuff. However, he had 3 years. Endure 3 years and he could go back and see his moms.

Beyond that, it was a chance for a new beginning. Then he realized. His pokemon... they were waiting for him.

He ran to his room, 13. Diego opened the door and saw his current team and saw their elated surprise, most of all Pikachu. There was much rejoicing as they all hugged one another. Diego was crying in joy. His friends were here. All was well for this moment.

Cryptic thoughts
Zack Stone || Dark Bliss Academy

Okay so it seemed that there wan't much of a hassle to find his room, there was a map on the back of the paper so that he wouldn't have much of a problem finding it. Zack's footsteps made little noise as he walked to his room; though the slight tap, tap, tap, of his feet could still be heard if one listened closely. He set a brisk pace to arrive at his destination, though he was slightly anxious about actually finding it and entering it however. He walked through what to him seemed like a never ending hallway maze before approaching a room with the big, steel number '34' fastened to the front. He placed the hand holding the paper close to his chest before crumpling the item slightly. He took in a deep breath before using his left hand to grasp the door knob.

It felt cool to the touch, and Zack felt the urge to pull back from the sheer shock of the cold item against his warm skin, but he fought against it and opened up the door. It opened with the slightest of creaks and he pushed the door open, his mouth gaping open upon seeing the room. It was dark blue in colour, with a bed in the right hand corner of the room. A window was directly across from him, and there was a dresser of some sort under it. Another dresser was to his left, and he assumed that was where he kept his clothing from now on. Upon closer inspection of the room Zack noticed that the bedding on his bed was black with red trim, and three pillows were placed at the head of the bed. Resting on the made bed was six select Pokeballs, a worn red and black Pokedex, a backpack, and a worn trainer cap.

Zack's hearbeat began to race upon seeing these items, they were the items that were dear to him. The Pokeballs contained his trusted Pokemon partners, he was given the Pokedex from Professor Elm when he had chosen that pesky little Totodile and started his Pokemon Journey, the backpack and hat were given to him by his mother, the backpack managed to carry many items at once, and the hat was a keep sake of his father's. He ran over to the items, placed the hat on top his crimson red hair, and let out his Pokemon. Cortex, Crono, Flower, Terror, Spook, and Zo were there to greet him. Zack was trying his best to hold back tears but it proved to be nearly impossible. I-I can't believe that you guys are here! He stumbled forward and dropped to his knees, he was greeted by the brush of soft fur, he assumed that it was Zo.

'We missed you too Zack.' Chimed the Zorua in Pokespeak, the other Pokemon cried something out in Pokespeak as well, but it was Zo's voice that startled Zack mainly because he could hear her as clear as a bell.

Z-Zo, h-how c-an I-I understand you...? He asked, dumbfounded. Zo blinked in confusion, her mouth hung open slightly, the tricky fox Pokemon had no clue why her trainer could understand her.

Wanna hug?
Loke ~ DBA
Loke sneaked down the hallway, looking across his shoulder to make sure that he wasn’t followed. He spotted a Pokemon a few times, one time a Rattata who ran past Loke and a Pichu who was sitting before a door and watched curiously to the guy who came sneaking by. Loke didn’t pay any attention to the Pokemon.

Loke still didn’t trust anything of this, and before every door he waited if he could hear anyone breathing of walking. Where the hell was room 77? he wondered while he was waiting in front of another door in the hallway. When he didn’t hear anything, he opened the door and walked inside. It was just a classroom, nothing special about it. There was a black board in the back and tables for the lessons. About twenty people could have a class here during a lesson, Loke thought. So this place is an academy. But where was his room then? Then he noticed that there was something sitting on the chair where the teacher normally sat. It was a Politoed. What is a Politoed doing in an schoolbuilding? Loke wondered. Then something weird happened, the Politoed changed in appearance. After Loke blinked with his eye, there wasn’t a Politoed anymore, but a Zoroark. Loke, who had heard some stories of hungry Zoroark eating people quickly dashed out of the classroom, leaving an astonished Wigglytuff behind.

Loke ran straight back for the room where he came from. When he was exhausted he looked back, but the Zoroark didn’t follow him. He was in that hallway again, but he had no idea where. Then he heard some voices coming his way. He looked around swiftly, but he couldn’t find any place to hide. Wait, there was a door over there. Without even looking what kind of room it was, Loke dashed inside and slammed the door close behind him. Then he looked into the room to find about six people looking at him. Then he recognized Kon. Apparently, he ran straight into the staffroom. ‘Loke, perhaps you should go to your room…’, Kon said. How did he know his name? Loke wondered. ‘He’s one of the new ones?’, a person who looked like the Zoroark asked. Not another Zoroark, Loke though frightened. ‘The poor child’, a woman who looked like Nurse Joy said. ‘There is a map on the note you got, dear. Just look at the backside, you can find your room with that’, she told him with a sweet smile’. ‘Uhm… okay’, Loke said, not knowing what to do. ‘Do you still have the note?’, she asked. ‘Yeah, I’ve it still’. ‘Good, you’re know in the staffroom, so you should head left when you’ve left this room’, she said. Without saying thanks, Loke quickly walked out of the room filled with Pokemon-like looking people. Then he took out the note of his pocket, and indeed, there was a map on it. With it, he walked quickly towards the room that should be his. It was on the third floor at the far end of the corridor.

When he entered his room he found that it was clean and filled with light. Loke quickly walked towards the window and closed the curtains. It quickly became dark in his room, and he looked around. There was a bed and a few dressers, and a desk with a chair. That was about everything in the room. Then he had the feeling that someone was staring at his back. Loke turned around and yelled startled: “AAAAH”. There was a Ghastly levitating behind him. Ghastly were wicked Pokemon, Loke was told. They would drink all of your blood when you’re asleep! This one however didn’t use Hypnosis as Loke thought, but instead, he licked Loke with his giant tongue and looked happily at him.

Rory Stewart
Dark Bliss Academy

Rory stood in the doorway of his dorm room, staring across the hall at Number 34. He wondered if he should go over and knock on the door, to introduce himself to the newcomer. It would be the polite thing to do. After a bit he decided against it, they would probably run into each other eventually. Rory turned around and closed his door. He pulled out a pair of keys from his pockets and locked the door behind him as he set off to the cafeteria.

As Rory walked down to get some breakfast, his mind was distracted by what had happened to him when he had died. This always happened when newbies arrived. In a way Rory felt sad for these people, in a perfect world this academy would not even have to exist for the kids that came here. But death was one of those unavoidable things in life and unfortunately it happened to kids and young adults all the time. He pushed open the door to the cafeteria and quickly got himself in the short line up. Rory had always wondered what was after death, some believed there was an afterlife and you would be judged others like Rory, believed that once you die that was that. He never in a million years would have suspected this. Even after a year since coming here Rory wasn’t quite sure of what to make of it all. Sometimes he wished that these scientists hadn’t done anything to him and had just let him die.

Rory took his seat at a table, a bowl of oatmeal in hand, and began to eat. It was a Saturday so Rory was free to do pretty much whatever he wanted, except leave the academy for good. He wondered if he should maybe wander around town for a bit and kill some time, or try and meet some of the new people instead. Perhaps even he could make some friends. Rory wasn’t the most social person when he was a live the first time around, but he did have some friends. However, he had found it was much harder to make friends in this life. He knew some people, but he didn’t really consider any of them his ‘friends’. He always thought it was because how much he had stood out from the crowd. Being rather antisocial didn’t help the fact that Rory had received the genes of a legendary Pokémon. For some reason amongst several of the students in his year that was reason enough to exclude Rory out of things. Some people didn’t say anything or seemed to care, but it was obvious that others did care. Rory always thought that they were jealous, but he wasn’t so sure anymore. Finishing his bowl of oatmeal, he stood up from his table and placed his dishes where all the other dirty dishes were. Who knows, perhaps this year would be better. Even if it was his second year, a year most students seemed to start dropping like flies. Rory sighed and slowly walked out of the cafeteria, making sure he didn’t leave anything at his table. He checked his watch; the face positioned on the underside of his left wrist, and decided it may be best to head back to his dorm room for now.

Corin Thurman
Lilycove City

Corin Thurman walked along the sidewalk of Lilycove City with a bounce. He stopped for a brief second to stare at his reflection in a store window. He instinctively smoothed down his already smooth and straight blonde hair and smiled. Corin was headed to the Lilycove Department store, and had just come from a restraunt where he had managed to get the number of a cute waitress. Nothing was going wrong for Corin this lovely Tuesday evening. He rubbed is dark brown eyes and continued on his way to the department store.

It was just planned as a quick side stop on his way back to the Pokémon Center where he would be staying the night. All he needed from the department store was a few potions and some Poke balls. Nothing big. Corin continued his walk with a slight bounce in his step and stared up at the night sky. It was getting rather cold out, so the darkness came sooner than usual. The streetlights had already turned on an hour or two ago. Corin looked behind him quickly due to a weird sudden feeling, but there was nothing behind him. In fact the streets were quite bare. Corin approached a cross walk and was about to cross when something grabbed his arm in a deathly grip.
“Hey! Le-“Corin started to shout, but was soon silenced by a large black leather glove.
“Shut yer mouth” a warm breath whispered in Corin’s ear.

Corin struggled to break the grasp of the person, but it was to no avail. Corin was dragged down the alley to the end, where five other figures stood, all covered in black and up against a brick wall. As Corin was dragged closer to them, they moved to form a circle around him. Several of them pounding fists into their palms. Their leader, a red headed woman who stood at about the same height as Corin, and about a head shorter than everyone else, ordered her men to let him go. Corin was thrown into the brick wall, and quickly shuffled to stand up.
“What do you want” he demanded as the leader approached him. His question was answered with a punch to the face.
“Don’t you remember us? Back in Slateport?” the leader snarled in his face.
“Should I?” Corin answered with rage.
“We tried to mug you, but you fought back and publically humiliated us”. Corin was punched in the face again, this time spitting up blood. He started to talk but was met with another punch, this time in the ribs.
“From now on we do the talking” the leader spat, she turned to some of her men, “Grab him”.
The two closest men walked over and grabbed Corin by his arms. Corin tried to resist, so one of the men broke his arms.
“You see,” the leader started, “We didn’t like that one bit. No one humiliates us. No one”
Corin’s head hung low from his neck, his rage ever increasing. He spat blood in the leaders face out of defiance.
The leader swore and ordered her men to shut him up for good. Corin clung to life as he was met by punch after punch. Eventually they stopped and his bloody hair was grabbed so that he looked face to face with the red headed woman.
“I hope you’ve learned you’re lesson” she said calmly as she brandished a knife. Corin let out his first and final scream as the knife was constantly plunged into his already beaten body.

Corin Thurman
Dark Bliss Academy

Corin slowly opened his eyes, the world a blur. He could barely make out some fuzzy shapes that looked like people standing next to him. The world slowly started to become more clear and Corin found himself in what looked like a hospital room. They looked at him and walked out of the room, whispering something to each other. Corin could barely hear them so he adjusted his ears to listen better.
“Looks like he’s finally awake. You deal with him” what looked like a middle aged man said to his partner. It was only after Corin had heard what the man had whispered that it had registered him. He had moved his ears to ear better. Last time he checked that wasn’t quite possible for humans. His hands shot to his ears as a woman walked into the room.
“Yes, you might find that you have changed a little” she said with a sweet voice. Corin ran his hands down his longer and furry ears amazed. He looked at the woman and noticed that she didn’t look entirely human. She looked like a mix between a human being and a Togekiss.
“Wha, what happened?” Corin asked confused. He started to sit up and noticed that laying on the hospital bed between his two legs was a tail. He jumped off the bed and looked behind him, moving the tail around.
“I have a tail!” he shouted, not letting the woman answer his first question, “What have you done to me!”
“Slow down Corin” the woman said in that sweet voice, “ Sit down. Okay, I’m Alice and as I said you may notice that you’ve expirenced some physical changes.” Alice reached over to a table and grabbed a note which she handed to Corin.
“This note should explain all you need to know for now.” Alice stood up and left the room. Corin, confused, opened the note and read what was inside:

Dorm number for Corin Thurman: 7

If Corin thought he was confused before, he was certainly twice as confused now. What did it mean by powers? And it also appeared that he was being forced to go back to school. Corin was most confused by the part that said this place was a haven for the most part. A thousand thoughts entered his mind, but Corin decided to think about them later. For now he better do as the note said, go to his dorm room. He looked over at the table where Alice had grabbed the note and saw that there were a clean set of clothes neatly folded on the table. Corin quickly got changed and made his way to the door. Seeing that there was no one in the hall, Corin started to walk in the direction that had indicated where the dorm rooms where. He lashed his tail back and forth, not used to having it.

Cell Shaded
Zachary Cole
Nimbasa City

Zach was excited. He had just finished last period in school which was that wretched English class and was going over to the local radio station for his shift as dj. However since he was feeling a little thirsty he walked over to the local coffee shop as soon as he entered the door he felt at home with the kind woman at the counter greeting him, the strong scent of coffee beans wafting through the air, and the poetry on the walls; this was his favorite place in the world. Zachary nonchalantly walked to the counter and made small talk with the woman at the counter hardly listening like usual. The woman asked “What would you like today Zach?”

“Mocha latte; no foam.”

“Alright Zach that’ll be four dollars fifty cents.” The woman said. Zach then customarily left eight dollars and walked to his favorite table. The woman walked to the table gave him his coffee and walked back to the counter to attend to other customers. After he got his coffee Zach left and started sipping it on the way to the steel gray radio station. He was excited today would be his fiftieth radio broadcast and was determined not to be late.

When Zach finally reached the grey building he walked in and said hello to the receptionist then clocked in right on time just as he had planned. He came on and said “Hey, hey, hey I am Zachary Cole and this is my fiftieth broadcast here on Nimbasa City’s hit radio station so let’s play fifty nonstop minutes of all your favorite hits. Zachary then put his coffee down on the soundboard unwary of the danger. Though he shouldn’t have been surprised when his partner burst in late as usual, but he was. So he accidentally spilt his coffee on the soundboard. It then erupted in a flurry of blue sparks and Zach couldn’t even mutter out the obligatory curse before an arc of electricity shot out of the soundboard and hit Zachary in the heart he fell to the floor and then everything went black.

Zach opened his eyes his chest was pounding, he felt like his heart was going to explode he thought he heard voices and he felt like the world was going one hundred miles per hour around him. He muttered to himself “Ugggh, what happened?”

“Ah, Zachary you are awake.” A woman that looked like a Nurse Joy said. “Don’t worry the feelings of change right now are normal."

“Why? What did you do to me? Where are my Pokémon? What are you going to do to me?”

“In order we inserted Pokémon genes into you, in your dorm, and nothing” The woman said in a condescending tone.

“Wait, what?! Are you crazy!?” Zachary exclaimed. Before the Nurse Joy could say anything else Zachary said “You know what I don’t even care I just want to get out of this place!” the Nurse Joy at this point was extremely irritated and said “I give up, just read this to find out everything.” She then handed Zach a piece of paper and left. He quickly read it.

You are allowed to capture Pokémon that surround the areas (Pokémon that reside there are from every region so they're all free game). The only requirement is that you return to the academy at 10PM otherwise you will be tracked down, equipped with a tracking device for a month, and won't be able to leave school grounds for one week. School days are only four hours a day, from 11AM to 3Pm, during those hours you participate in classes where they learn how to control your powers and participate in a gym class to keep in shape. After about three years you are allowed to leave the campus and start your own Pokémon journey.

It is now time to find your dorm room; on the bottom of this paper is your dorm number. All your stuff and your Pokémon will be waiting for you when you get there.

Dorm number for Zachary Cole: 32

Note: If you haven’t look in the mirror or changed into your new set of clothes do so now.

He was extremely irritated that he would have to take three more years of school at this place. Zachary then looked in the mirror and saw that, he had two large tails that of an Exploud, along with two leg growths where his knees are along with the seven face growths of an Exploud. Zachary naturally was in shock from this and just stammered. Zach then changed into his clothes and found that they fit comfortably. He then found his way to Dorm 32 without too much trouble in controlling his tails and when he opened the door, Scoopy the Vanilluxe came running, well floating straight to the door and hugged Zachary. Next Blitzkrieg came trotting at Scoopy’s heels Zach pet Blitzkrieg several times a scratched under her chin as well. Mordecai then walked in the scene with the calculated elegance and majesty. Zachary then pet Mordecai as well. Then Zachary asked the Pokémon “Where is Crescendo?” Crescendo then revealed himself and looked astonished at Zachary’s transformation. Zach then said “Well we are here together. Let’s enjoy ourselves for now.”

Loke ~ DBA
The Ghastly flew around Loke with a happy smile on his face, while Loke was shaking of fear. At a certain moment, the Ghastly flew straight through Loke, and that was the moment that Loke fainted. A little while later he awakened, and just when Loke thought that everything was just a dream, he was licked by a giant tongue. Loke yelled out of surprise, and then he opened his eyes, he saw the Ghastly levitating above him, but this time, it’s face was worried. You okay? Please! Please say you’re okay! Please! Please! You’re okay right? You’re breathing, so you’re alive! But what if you’re in a coma? Please say something! PLEASE! a voice raced through Loke’s head. What was happening to him? First he waked up in a bed with a Squirtle-guy, then he had purple eyes, and now he was hearing voices. Then something occurred to him, perhaps... the voice was from the Ghastly!
YES YOU’RE ALIVE! Yippie!, the voice went through his head, and after that, the Ghastly licked him again, this time his face happy again. Uhm... Can you hear me? Loke thought. Loud and clear! Sgt. Ghastly ready for combat Sir!, the voice shout through his head. Loke assumed that the Ghastly was joking and he asked: How can you talk to me with your mind?. It isn’t my mind, but yours Captain!. What?! How was that possible? How do you know it isn’t you?. Cause you’re the first of my superiors that is able to talk with me Sir!. I’m turning mad, Loke thought. But apparently, the Ghastly heard that. No Sir, you’re not mad, you’re at DBA Sir! Sgt. Ghastly signing of for the day! I’ll get some sleep, the Ghastly replied to Loke's unspoken thought, and then it just vanished in thin air.

Yes! Dorm 66!

Much to Carly's relief, Dorm 66 was on the ground floor. She did not want to think of climbing up stairs...any kind of thing that reminded her of heights. She remembered falling, blood, fractures and pain. Somehow, she had the feeling that she was supposed to be dead. Something wasn't right, and she wasn't sure whether her new features had anything to do with it. She didn't want to be so high up anymore though...not if it was just going to kill her.

Pushing the door open, she stepped into her new dorm, which was surprisingly nice and spacious enough not to make her queasy and uncomfortable. She always hated small spaces as she often had nightmares of walls closing in on her. Thankfully for her, she had nothing to worry about.

Damn...better than I expected. Definitely not your average run o' the mill dorm...

Carly sat down on her bed, checking out the six Balls lying in a row on her nightstand, all of them Dusk Balls. Definitely hers, but she had to make sure. Pressing their buttons, she released the Pokemon inside them.

A Houndoom, a Weavile, a Garchomp, an Absol, an Umbreon and a Honchkrow materialized in front of her. The exact team she remembered after looking closely at them, the Houndoom having green eyes, the Honchkrow being overweight and the Garchomp having a rather small cut on its fin.

Marchosias...Crocell...Malphas...Berith...Haures...Marbas...I'm so glad you're all safe!

She went over to her Pokemon and embraced them, the six of them hugging her back. Somehow, they made her feel good to be alive, even if she had strange features on her body.
