Darkrai and Sheimi Glitch Discovered

For those that dont feel like reading the 473294792 some odd pages...

• Guy named Kabigon found the Darkrai glitch through the E4 glitch.
• Is it possible to access Sheimi using a method as well
• Yes it actually does work, many people have tried it.
• There are now a few guides on how to perform this glitch
• Theres a good potential of your data being erased if you get stuck or dont follow the directions
• Start counting steps/clear the counter to 0 after you go through the door/get off the surf pokemon/land in glitch land
  

Sheimi Guide

This is so simple, i'd recommend getting this lil guy first!

Make sure you have a surfing pokemon, one that knows fly (just in case) and also a pokemon for battling, plus tons of ultraballs!

First use the E4 glitch (First E4 room, go to door and surf)
Land back on solid ground just south.
Reset your step counter!
Now go 200 steps east from the bottom door
Then go 363 steps south (563 steps total)
Then go 722 steps east (1285 steps total)
THEN go 19 steps west (1304 steps total) - This was originally 18, but this may hopefully make it a bit more secure for people getting stuck in water!!

CHECK YOUR MAP! You should be -map wise- on water, however, it should be about 2 tiles north of Route 224 exactly!

Use underground kit.
You should appear underground, so just resurface!
You'll now be on some glitchy land

GO NORTH A BIT UNTIL SONG CHANGES

Check you map key item and cancel out of it!
Everything should be fine now, just go straight north and eventually you'll spot Sheimi!
Remember to save before battling it, it's level 30 but it's stubborn!
Once captured, you can just Fly away

Darkrai Guide

How to get to Darkrai in less than 1000 steps!
Stand just at the E4 door, use Surf, go around either side hogging to the walls untill you get to the other door.
Walk North until you have collected a step count of 225, also make sure you are on the 5th route (You should see 5 text boxes at the top left)
Go underground. you'll have an error, the game should reload the area!
Go south till you hit a wall, thi should be 422 steps in total now.
Go North 1 step.
Go west until you get to 435 steps total.
Go South until 601 steps total, you should check your map and see if your in the top left now.
Keep on going south until 662 steps total, refresh the map (the key item one), Full Moon Island's ocean should be to the right.
Walk just two steps away from the water (for me that's 664 steps total).
Go underground, should go down successfully, return to surface.
Run through water, eastwards until 701 steps total.
Go south till 757 steps total(Full Moon Island very south area).
Go east till 872 Steps total (Darkrai Isle, below the stairs)
Go up north 877 steps total (onto the stairs)
East 878 steps total (from here think about going north just above the dock)
Save, welcome to the island!
Soft rest/ turn off and turn on the DS.
You will probably be in shadows again (If you just saved at 878 steps total, you could find yourself on the sailor, which although i got off from him, you could get stuck!)
Open up your map (ket item)
Map should be corrected!
Walk around, and go to the forest.
Stand face to face with Darkrai, 917 steps in grand total!!

Meh, interesting stuff.

That's some crazy cool glitch right there. I can't believe he was able to just stumble upon that.

EDIT: I hope to god that Nintendo doesn't find out about this and edit it out of the North American version. After all, this could be the Mew glitch of the 4th generation.

Surfing glitch? What the hell is the surfing glitch? And what the hell is the E4 glitch?

And why must Nintendo always make glitchy games? I thought glitches were over with the beginning of the Advance gen, but seeing that cloning is possible in Emerald, and this crap in DP, wtf.

these games seem to be full of glitches... personaly ill be glad if nintendo gets rid of them, i mean.. surfing through doors?? That makes nintendo seem like a kid who made this game. and i certainly dont want to accidentally stumble across a glitch that deletes my game by accident.
