In hindsight, since this is one of the few SM episodes to feature Maamane as the star and his Denjimushi as well, I'm surprised that Denjimushi didn't evolve here. Given the focus on the species, this was the perfect chance.

Why? Wouldn't Sophocles (and his teammates) be disqualified if that happened? I don't see how Vikavolt would work in a Charjabug race.

I meant after the race was finished, but then again I'm biased since Kuwagannon is one of my favorite Gen VII Pokemon, and I've been very impatient to see its debut.

Wow. How convenient. The jerk team with the cliche snobby rich guy picks on these random 3 challengers talking about winning. Not like they could pick the team with the little scientist with the nasal voice.

Oookay, what was up with that third obstacle course? The whole city looked too much real. In fact, what technology do they use to change the sky's atmosphere in every course?

Shouldn't Sophocles' team be disqualified? Ash clearly did physically interfere when he launched himself to protect his car from being involuntarily rammed in the ice. Also, it was never explained you could use moves to win. Oh well. Ash(?) won his pitty tourney of the region.

Bewear was amusing this time, though. Ha ha.
