Day/night sprites for Pokemon?

Look at some of the screenshots that we have. Notice how in many of them, Pokemon that are actually the same are in different poses. For instance, Munchlax walking/Munchlax sleeping, Cherimu (or whatever its called) in and out of its flower, Weavile standing and Weavile leaping, etc. Maybe Pokemon have different poses depending on whether its day or night. Hell, maybe stats could even be affected slightly (ex., nocturnal Pokemon such as Noctowl being more powerful during the night), or maybe even moves like Sing having a higher hit percentage during the night.

i think the day/ night will just add some different shadow patterns for the pokemon, i think the different sprites are for different versions. As for the Cherimu wrapping itself i think its just an attack or proly some ability or an opening animation???(I dunno, just my theory)

Ummm... Wasn't the walking Munchlax fan-made? Either way, I think it could happen. I'm hoping to see A LOT more new features from D/P since it's on a new console, so why not day/night avatars? Cool idea, I hope you're right.

Cherimu changes it's sprite depending on whether or not sunny day is in effect. If you look at the name of the pic on serebii, it's Cherimu before sunny day is in effect.

One of the munchlax was seemingly and evolution sprite, one of the Weavile was and older spreit and it is comfirmed that cherimu remains in it's flower until sunny day is in effect but maybe there will be day/night sprite or changes in stats when in the different times of the day

Hm...I could've sworn that I saw a Munchlax walking sprite somewhere in a screenshot...
