If you saw the trailer you can tell that it isn't other than having 5 of the girls from DoA:Tina, Christie, Helena, Ayane, and Kasumi.

Actually most fighting games don't work well as movies other than the first mortal kombat movie. I'll still watch it for cheesy and fun factor.

I know, that old Super Mario Bros. movie sucks! It's nothing like the games. Mario's moustache is the wrong shape, Luigi is clean shaven, and Bowser is a guy in a costume for pete's sake!

Yeah... I might see it. Game movies are becoming more and more common.
Doom, Resident Evil, Dungeon Siege, and... they're making one of the controversial game Postal. I would want to see Postal, to see how it relates to the game.

What the hell are they gonna do in a Pac-Man movie? I'd hate to see the DDR and Crazy Taxi movies. I think the last two will be rip-offs of You Got Served and Taxi.

Can't say I'm looking forward to this in the slightest..
The only new videogame movie worth mentioning is Halo, as it's being done right. Follows the first games plot almost flawlessly, you never see Master Cheifs face, and of course, Peter Jackson is producing it. I really hope the movie ends up being very succesful, it could start a complete turn around for video game movies.

I watched that trailer too, all the characters looked VERY different from the games. Why don't they make a 3d movie insted of making it a drama?

Indeed. The girls in the game range in age from their teens to the mid-20s. The girls in the movies look..way too old. o_O; Ayane's face looks rather wrinkly in the movie. Hell, most of the girls look nothing like the ones in the games.

They tried to hard to follow the girls exactly, and failed miserably.
Honestly, you cannot mimic the girls no matter how f*cking hard you try.
Because if I remember correctly, Kasumi has a 90 inch bust line.

Other than that, it just looks corny, not to mention the fact that I remember at least two of the girls are sword enemies of each other. Besides, what happened to Ryu, Ein, blah blah and blah?

Because if I recall, the DoA world champion uses a guy, so therefore DoA is not only about the girls.

the actor for kasumi is horrible in terms of looks but she is japanese.

the person int e cowboy hat is suppose to be Tina
