If you haven't seen the game show on NBC, here's how it works on the show:

  • A contest is chosen from the audience.
  • The contest choses one case. There are 26 different cases, held by 26 beautiful models. The cases are filled with 26 different amounts of money, with a top prize of $1,000,000 all the way down to 1 penny.
  • One the case is chosen by the contestant, it is theirs for the entire game, they cannot switch it once its been chosen .
  • The amounts of money in the cases are chosen by a third-party. (possibly a sponser of the show) The host (Howie Mandell), the models, the banker (which we'll get to in a second), and the audience DO NOT know which amount is in what case.
  • The contestant starts chosing cases, whatever is in the other cases is not in his/her case. The game starts by the contest chosing 6 cases.
  • And then we get a phone call from the banker. He wants to buy the case back from the contestant for as little money as possible.
  • Howie Mandell, after hearing the offer from the banker, tells the contestant the offer and asks, "Deal, or No Deal".
  • If the contest says "DEAL", they press the "big red button", and whatever amount the offer was is theirs guaranteed. The money in the case is gone but the deal is theirs.
  • If the contestant says "NO DEAL", they push the cover over the switch and the game continues. The case remains theirs, and they must open ather 5 cases.
  • If the contestant accepts or deciles the deal, the descision is final. Also, the contestant may ask chosen family or friends and the audience for help, but only their answer is considered.
  • As the game progresses, the number of cases the contestant must open before the next bank offer goes down to just one case.
  • As long as the contestants keep the larger amounts of money in play, the bank offer will increase. If the contestant opens the larger numbers (i.e. $200,000), the bank offer wlll go down.

For this game I will need a banker. I'll be playing the host.

To sign up for the game, fill out the form listed below.

Every day around 2:30pm, (or I'll post the deadline for that day if it's different) I'll pick a name at random. That person will be the contestant. As for the third-party thing, I'll either PM a mod to randomize the cases for me or I'll do it myself.

The game will go much like the original. The person choses their case. It remains thiers for the entire show, unless they decide to sell it. They start choseing cases. Whatever is in the other cases is not in theirs. The the banker will Pm me with the offer. I will announce the offer promtly. the contentant will chose "Deal or No Deal".

First I need the banker before we get started. The banker must be someone that is on the forums frequently. Just post if you want to be the banker.

Your age. (even tho the real show probably requires you ythe be 18 and above, this show is open to all ages)
Your 3 or 4 "friends". They must me members at SPPf.

Well, that depends. Your friends can sumbit applications as well, and hope they get picked. But the "friends" are they to give you advice. And remember, even tho they are giving you advice only your answer is final.

EDIT: Oh do you mean they have to be active in the thread?

In this case, well, it would make sense that your friend is there to help and support you similar to how it is on the show.

I would highly recommend that when choosing your friend, that you choose someone you know will help you and that will be available at the time of the game.

Remember that you can post even if you don't want to be a contastant, or if you aren't one of the "friends" of a contastant. The people who post during the game are members of the audience.

Friends can communicate with the contestant by posting in the thread or PMing them.

I still need someone to be the banker so we can get started. Remember the banker must be present at the forums often so they can be contacted during the game.

Todays's deadline for contestant entries is 3:30. The game will promtly start then, so long as we have a banker before then.

Response to i don't know 2's question: You don't nessasaily need to list friends in order to play the game, but it would be helpful if you did. Your friends can give you advice as to when to take the offer or which case to choose next. 3-4 friends/family is usual on the real show, but for our game, there is no limit. That number is only a suggestion.

Deal or No Deal is on tonight at 8 on NBC for those of you who havent seen it. You can get an idea as to how it's played for real. There's also a home-version of the game online at the website I posted earlier. There's also a place where you can play to win $10,000.

Ok, case 22 is your case. As said earlier the case remains yours. Unless you decide to sell it, but that comes later.

Now, what is left in the other 25 cases is not in your case. Let's start by opening 6 cases. (one per post)
