The show was more interesting when L was still alive. D:
I think they gave Near too much credit; Mello actually deserved it. He really did something and gave Near an opening. All Near did was sit and play with his toys. :/Lies~ (so true)
What burst my bubble was that after his death, there was hardly any mention of him practically solving the case beforehand. They gave Near and Mello too much credit. >;O <//3
That's what I'm saying. I love Mello. Honestly, he's my favorite character. Out of all of them, he actually got up and took actual action to try and trap Kira.Mello went to unmeasurable limits, if that's the opinion you have of him. Near did just sit around. I preferred L over Near.

No, you can see in both the anime and the manga that he has a little regret scene where he tells Matt that he's sorry. ; _ ;Mello was a bit rash though with some of the things he did. I mean, he didn't mean for Matt to get killed, did he?

Naw, that's sad :'( Even though Matt didn't get shown much in the anime, I still see him as my favourite character.No, you can see in both the anime and the manga that he has a little regret scene where he tells Matt that he's sorry. ; _ ;
Death Note is one of the best animes that 've seen =). Mello Ftw! Haha the plot and story were complex and deep, and I loved it. I remember watching it when Adult Swim started showing it, from the begining... That was a couple years ago XP... However, despite my love for Death Note, it is now Tied with Code Geass for my favorite anime. =)
