I hope this means another production coup happened like the one at the end of XY so it can restore the anime to the glory of XY.
I understand santiagus' pov. I also want Team Rocket to be treated better because so far this has been a disgrace. However, having Goh or not shouldn't have any connection to that. If Goh stays, you should just ignore him. That's what I do. As I always say, he's a good character in the wrong anime that was artificially shoved in. You should complain about Team Rocket's treatment no matter what happens with Goh. That's what I would do.
Glory? What glory LMAO? It is not DPI hope this means another production coup happened like the one at the end of XY so it can restore the anime to the glory of XY.

I'm not trying to tell you what you have to do or how to think, it's just a recommendation for you to not be as frustrated with Goh as you are.Let's say that... This is not my way of doing things, you have yours I have mine. I don't like Goh on how the writters wrote him and how some people act like it's some kind of choosen one.
No sorry his writting is unforgibable, The Grookey episode was the last straw, and as a Team Rocket fan that hurt, A LOT.
However I hope that we Team Rocket fans can stay happy whatever Income is left for Goh.
Though I do wonder why the vast majority of the old writers left after XY nglThere was no coup. Yajima decided not to be series director of Sun & Moon either because he wanted to take over the films or because he was exhausted from overseeing a weekly series for three years.
The production of the cartoon has weakened due to issues with the industry and OLM itself. Tomiyasu is not the reason the cartoon franchise has less good animation now.

I used to be very bothered with the character too. He obviously clashes with many things 20+ years of episodes established and he was shoved in like a second protagonist and even the ones like UnovaMaster (even if they would never admit it) know that he was never going to be a real equal to Ash. Nobody in the big picture ever cared if Goh caught Mew or not. Meanwhile, casuals made the internet explode with Ash's victory. The truth is that Goh would need many years to even be a bit relevant for the wider audience. And I'm not even sure if the "Galar starters guy" would even get there. It's so random. Maybe if they had turned him into the Eevee trainer... If they wanted to keep him around for more than one generation, that would've been the logical thing to do. It's going to be very weird, if he sticks around, to see him with the old gen starters.
I just accepted Goh as one of the many flaws this anime as a whole has. Maybe he can improve if they somehow decide for once what they want to do with the character. Maybe it's good that for once they don't throw away 3 years like it's nothing and we get a smoother transition.
Source? In episode 2, Goh returns to Kanto and becomes a member of Project Mew.
It's official that Goh will leave
The he writing department is just as messy as the animation department right now given the the series keep changing like how goh goal got changed mid series due to the last one not working and how there been 3 different series director in one series.
Source?
Option 3) Something else? So, to summarize our options:
Option 1) Goh and Ash actually separate in this episode, and Goh is crying in 135 because he will be saying goodbye to Ash.
or
Option 2) 135 crying stuff is a fake out, and Goh and Ash end up traveling together again, and this episode is them leaving for Paldea together
I love how confusing this is.
There was a short moment with Dawn and Chloe after the match, but it was way too short.no reunion moments with Hikari/Koharu,
