Hopefully Loudbone's presentation and might really matches a fully evolved monster. Since Friede and Lizardon are their idols, this has been a long time coming.

Nah, Kilowattrel has already had 2 battles in a row very recently so I don't think it should be Skeledirge and Kilowattrel if it's a double battle. I would like to see Lucario alongside Skeledirge rather than Kilowattrel. Makes perfect sense since in that case Lucario gets the chance to redeem itself after losing to Nemona.

If it’s a double battle between Roy and Friede where Friede uses Charizard and Captain Pikachu then it would make perfect sense for Roy to use Skeledirge and Kilowattrel as they both look up to Charizard and Captain Pikachu respectively.
And they can always give Lucario a different battle where it wins later.
Although it’s probably just going to wind up being Skeledirge vs Charizard here.

Skeledirge does look up to Charizard for sure but does Kilowattrel look up to Captain Pikachu? I'm not really sure where you got that from.
I wouldn't be too sure about that. Horizons has had a number of double battles since the Mega Voltage arc.
I wonder could this be the episode we see Mega Lucario Z.

The Mega battle to end all Mega battles is coming up. Lucario and Charizard to end 2025 with it looks like. MASSIVE if true.

I honestly do agree with the speculation that this episode could possibly be Mega Lucario Z's debut. Mega Dragonite debuted soon after it was revealed so it's possible that the same will happen with Mega Lucario Z too. It's Friede vs Roy so I definitely expect someting special to happen in the battle.
