I was done with him since early days I never liked him I'm not even going to lie. I liked his design but well. I always liked Ash to have a close friend, but we got this... Maybe is he wasn't in Journeys it could have been more bearable but...

My bad, apparently I had yu-gi-oh on my mind lol. But Tracey is who I meant.

Anyways so pumped Goh is probably leaving though. I want the main companion to be a super awesome girl again instead of another guy. I did think Ash and Goh made a super cute couple and the shipping was fun, but I want a strong girl WITH AN ACTUAL GOAL

Oh you want reaons Ok I was going to wait but now I want to show you why.

1. Wasted potential, catching all Pokemon is impossible, specially if we have some Pokemon that cannot appear in the anime, in the end of the day those Pokemon just are recurrent characters like Snubull in GS, Aerodactyl nothing, Cubone nothing, Flygon just a transport, Suicune what the h*ck come on. And a large list. This 2022 have become a little more bearable but the damage was already done.

2. Galar starters down the drain, the moment Cinderace evolved his development was over, Inteleon same, Grookey what is he even doing appart from reviving plants and being an accesory, they had their episodes but what is their point?

3. His reason to want Mew is sellfish. Why does he want it? Caue he watched it how strong it was, enough. It's poor writting at is finnest.

4. His relationship to Ash is so superficial, friends fight, friends do not agree on everything, Dawn and Ash friendship was 100 times better, Clemont and Ash sufffer the same thing but however they were 4 on that group so it made sense to have a different dinamic for each friend.

5. I don't like Ash, I'm a Team Rocket fan and the interactions between Go and TR have been pathetic. Also the whole treatment of Team Rocket does not help

6. His personality is so simplistic... He did not know how to talk with people.... OH MY and it was solved thanks to Jesus Ash. Come on. Little Einstens had more personality than him.

7.It does not help that he is in Journeys, if this was a better series probably I would have liked him more.

8.Writters pet project and subsequent failure to reach the fans. Fanbase is divided.

9.PM is nonsensical an bad written.

10. If Goh was a part of a 3-4 group of protagonists probably would not have been that much hated.

11.Searching for Mew in 2022....


See now you cannot say I do not have any reasons, you will think I'm wrong probably but I don't care this is my opinion.

And by the way since my Goh Goodbye song November have been such a failure I have a new one. Ha ha ha .

I have problems with the way gohs social issues were handled, but saying it was automatically solved by Ash isn't accurate at all

How the hell is Goh selfish for wanting to catch Mew because it's strong? Trainers literally want to catch strong mons all the time???? That's literally the most dumb take I've ever heard
It's not like Goh is trying to force Mew to be it's partner. Goh was fascinated by Mew ever since he was a kid, by its lore, by its powers, wanted to catch it someday like a normal trainer does, battling and trying to catch it
He's too simplistic? Lmao, the fact you felt it got solved in the first place so you literally have zero comprehension when it comes to his arcs or epsidoes, probably because you don't even watch em or stay mad at Goh while watching him
How the hell is his friendship to Ash superficial when it's literally written better than most other companions. Goh and Ash literally have fought and disagreed and were different and remained friends inspite of it, again, poor comprehension

Like literally most of these complaints boil down to miscontruing his character, nitpicks, some personal opinions about his goal
None of which justifies acting like a lunatic over him to the point you'll hate someone so much and make lame Simpson memes about them leaving
Like you don't need to be a 3 year old to dislike Goh, and so many reasons I see paraded around are the same old dumb or miscontruing ones, it's annoying

Well, if this episode turns out to be some possible recap, overall, Pokemon Journey's was an intriguing arc, at least at the very beginning and later points leading up to the Masters 8 finals.

One of the reason's I liked Ash as a character was because he was very flawed, especially towards the begining of his journey in the original series. He truly behaved like a typical 10 year old boy, at least in my opinion, which alot of kids my own age could related to who had this over fantasized view of the world before starting his quest, but soon came to realized things were not all what he expected, which is undeertsandble for anyone partaking on a career.


As for Goh, part of what I didn't like about his character was that he seemed less flawed and often times succeed in what he wanted to do just because he was passionate. Even the project mew plot, I felt wasn't too good of a character development arc for him. My biggest grip with his character is the fact that Goh is somehow able to develop great connection with pokemon, especially those that are notoriously distrustful or harmful towards humans (Areodacylt and Suicune) even though he rarely trains or uses his own in battles.

I do like that the boy (Goh) is ambitious and very knowledgeable, but this should not eclipse the fact that he lacks experience as a trainer, seeing how he hardly ever trains his pokemon.

Goh doesn't force animals to fight, so the animals in turn are grateful that Goh cares about them for something besides fighting

Honestly, I don't care about Goh anyway; I'd rather he take a COTD Role along with Chloe and they can become forgotten characters
and Ash isn't a saint either nor do Team Rocket. Aside from that, Kanto favoritism is too much. I hope Paldea will not be neglected either with Florian as main character.

I wouldn't say that. I'd say you were wasting time if you dedicated so much time posting about how JN Ash is the worst thing to ever happen and comparing him to a psychopath. Generally I don't care what people like or dislike. I just find it odd to want to spend your time talking about things you don't like.
