They did N, Colress and Ghetchis so dirty...

BW was bad from the start. The TP vs TR wouldn't have changed anything and the problems started right from the beginning.

The pacing was bad, they clearly rushed through the gyms without any Plasma plot inbetween them and everything was half baked.

BW and Journeys are on the same level. An unwatchable mess.

It's as easy as going to watch the BW episodes comentaries that are in this forum ,and you will see that people had faith and liked BW in the begining, and then all went downhill after the Team Rokcet fake goodbye episode.

No party or celebratory feeling but an episode with Koharu (who barely was invested in the PWC) and Go (who didn't even see the triumphant final fight) PM really has a very unpredictable vibe of a newer age anime I'm kind of glad to see as god knows the previous style of anipoke was getting stale just little things like this leave you wondering.

The lack of celebration drives more speculation of if the Paldea region will simply seeminglessly be added to the PM2019 labeling and why focus more on Go at the end of the victory versus SM''s feeling like a finale victory for Satoshi with everyone cheering for him and his mom witnessing it in person. They at least want to keep you guessing it seems.

We don't know about this. But a celebration is undoubtedly expected by all. Everyone will be greatly disappointed if there is nothing to show other than a camping trip.

There 100% won't be any celebration. Ash will be visiting Professor Oak's lab in today's episode, holding the trophy in front of him. In addition, we'll see at least some of Ash's reserves there.

So basically JN132 cameos were just cheap fanservice. At least Goh might seem like he will be coming...

I mean Lucario was also fanfiction-tier. A celebration party would be much more realistic than all of them showing up for the PWC Masters 8, as that thing lasted for one week or so in pokemon time, and for about 17 episodes iirc, compared to Ash's friends being in Pallet Town for one or two days.

Either way, looks like nothing will happen but its still really disappointing, especially compared to Alola where all of his classmates, as well as even Oak and his mom, were there to support Ash, meanwhile in Journeys we were afraid for a brief period that NO ONE would be in Ash's corner in the biggest battle of his life

Ah and that's where you lost him you see. Some highly intelligent people think it's funny to keep criticising the anime on every single thing in every single series since DP on things they don't even know but barely heard from someone or read from a disingenious post as they don't actually watch the anime but look at screencaps, all the while with the same energy defending everything GF does (and this is coming from someone who has USUM, ORAS, LA and SV in their top 5.)
