Got banned from Smogon in May, so I decided I'd check if the forums were as bad as the rumors say. Well, it's not terrible, and this has the only slightly-active PMD forum I know of (Pokécheck apparently doesn't want PMD discussion in their chatbox, either), so that's a reason in itself to stay. I'm very familiar with vBulletin-based forums, and the only question I have is: About avatars here, is it possible to use offsite images, or am I limited to the default ones? Thanks in advance.

Hi all. We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.
However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.
We always recommend using unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication if possible. Make sure you are secure. -
