Kamotz
God of Monsters
Let's make some 5/5 Haste Satyr Tokens on Turn 4.
That's what really is drawing me to this deck, the ability to pump out game-ending threats with your Planeswalkers...very quickly, while committing no additional resources to the board. The fact that the deck has access to so much incidental lifegain makes the RW Burn matchup much more stable.
All in all, the deck is essentially Justin Crandall's winning list from SCG Indianapolis but with some changes he himself wrote about and a few of my own. It seems crazy not to play Voice of Resurgence. But with Anger of the Gods, Lifebane Zombie, and Magma Spray in the format it just doesn't seem well positioned at all.
