Sick of dealing with idiots.
The episode starts with Ash and co. stoping to eat near a small bridge.

All of the group's Pokemon are out.

Chespin tries to steal some Pokemon food from Pancham's food bowl, but Pancham stops Chespin.

Dedenne then uses Discharge on Chespin.

Goodra picks up Chespin and Dedenne and calmly suggests to the two that they should not fight.

A three wheel car goes along a path, on a hill near Ash and co.

A Bellsprout is in the passenger's seat and sticks its head out the open window.

Bellsprout talks to the man driving it and then the man stops the car and gets out.

Bellsrpout and the man go up to Goodra.

Bellsprout knows Goodra from sometime in the past.

The man says that his name is Kenzo.

Kenzo tells Ash and co. that he and Bellsprout know Goodra from when it used to live together in the wetlands.

They all go to the wetlands, Goodra's old homeland.

Ash remembers when he first met Goodra as a Goomy when it fell out of the sky and onto his head.

Kenzo tells Ash and co. about the day that the Goomy left the wetlands.

There is a flashback to that day and Goomy is happily living with Kenzo and other Pokemon.

In the flashback, an army of Bug and Poison Type Pokemon attack the wetlands.

The group of Pokemon is led by a Blue Flower Florges.

The Florges attacks Goomy and Goomy lands on a Swanna.

That was the same Swanna that Goomy fell from when Goomy first met Ash.

Goodra makes a loud cry out to let the other Pokemon in the wetlands know that it has returned.

The Pokemon from the wetlands include, Wooper, Quagsire, Lotad, Gulpin and Swanna.

Team Rocket are looking at Ash and co. through a pair of binoculars.

The bad army that used to attack the wetlands also hear Goodra's cry.

A Pinsir goes to a cave with a pond, where the same Florges is.

Pinsir informs the Florges that the same Goomy from the past, who is now a Goodra has returned to the wetlands.

Goodra fires a Dragon Pulse into the sky and that impresses the other wetland Pokemon.

Dare Da? Florges.

Goodra and the wetland Pokemon start walking forward seriously.

The army of bad Pokemon arrive in the wetlands and then start to attack the good Pokemon there.

Goodra protects its Pokemon friends with Bide.

Ash and co. arrive to where the two Pokemon groups are battling.

Team Rocket are also watching the Pokemon battle.

Ash tells Goodra that it does not need to worry and he encourages Goodra to battle by itself.

Goodra and Florges keep battling eachother and then eventually Goodra gets hurt.

Ash and Pikachu encourage Goodra to keep on fighting.

Goodra then uses Ice Beam to attack Florges.

It seems like Goodra has won the fight and then Ash and co. start celebrating, along with the other Pokemon from the wetlands.

Then Goodra gets attacked from the side suddenly.

A smoke bomb detonates in front of the bad army of Pokemon.

This allows the army to retreat for the time being.

Ash and co. are now worried about Goodra.

They decide to take Goodra to the cabin in the wetlands to get treat its injuries.

Clemont tells Kenzo that he either saw Goodra getting attacked by a Shadow Ball and another move.

He thinks that it is weird, probably because the army of bad Pokemon don't know those moves.

Back at the cave, Florges is resting in the pond.

Team Rocket is also in the cave and they are talking to the Florges.

At the cabin, Ash, Serena and Bonnie are sleeping in a room with Pikachu, Dedenne, Goodra and a Wooper.

Clemont and Kenzo are in another room looking at two computer screens.

Something then snatches Pikachu, Dedenne and Wooper.

Ash chases after the Pokemon.

To be continued.

Probably one of my all time favorite episodes. It had everything, I couldn't ask for anymore.

And it's a two parter? Jesus

Goodra being big bro to everyone was very nice to see, it's like how Togekiss was the mom of the group and took care of everyone. I especially loved its interactions with the Pokemon back at the swamp. Literally commanding its own army. The flashbacks were great too, but seeing Gulpin being roasted was just so silly.

Team Rocket were also really great, I can actually call them intimidating for once since it's been so long. Don't know the context with the baby Floette but I'm guessing TR are helping to protect it and in exchange the wetlands is their's.

Really great episode 11/10, ready for Goodra to make a great final showing

I'm kinda torn- on the one hand, it annoys me that the writers try to think of a new move Goodra can learn to take on Florges, and they go with Ice Beam over the actually super effective and infinitely more awesome Sludge Wave. On the other hand, with Goodra's release imminent, I'm thinking I'd be more pissed about it than I already am if it meant Ash letting go of something with a Poison move. I know, I know, pretty stupid reasoning. What can I say? I'm weird like that.

This episode was alright, gonna have to see the next episode to decide because it looks a lot better, but I feel like a ton of this episode could've just been cut out and edited down to just make this a single episode.

I get the feeling the next episode is not going to explain why Florges didn't just ask Goomy and co. if they could share the well as opposed to just showing up and bombing them as her first choice. It would've made a lot more sense if there's a couple village jerks among Goomy's friends who rejected her at the border or whatever and that's why she went with the violent route. Otherwise it's just sloppy writing, even for a kid's show.

Also, I guess they're still feeling the pain on the budget from Brobowl. Lots of people/Pokemon standing still, lots of extreme close ups and lots of stock footage (wouldn't it have made more sense to flash back to when Ash was training with Goomy and he said "we'll get strong together" as opposed to flashing back to it KOing Luxray?).

He's pretty much effectivley dead now by all intents and purposes.

Good episode, already crying for the next one.

Frogadier wasn't there too.

So maybe he's in the same situation as the Lion's :p in the trash

Goodra was giving Ice Beam so that he can beat Shota's Sceptile or Salamence when he returns for the league

It was a good episode with a lot of emotion in it. I wish Goodra learned Sludge Bomb over Ice Beam but oh well I guess. I'm dreading next week's episode.

Mr. Reloaded

Cause a pirate is free
Ash's Goodra despite leaving gets a move instead of Hawlucha who is going to be a main stay... well I think it's official who the goat of Ash's team is

And it's a damn shame too. I really liked Hawlucha. :(
