Defense-based Team: OU

Yeah, it's been a while since I've made a Thread here. This time, though, I have a Defense oriented Team.

Celebi & Leftovers ** Onion-thing
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP/60 Def/40 Spd/88 SAtk/80 SDef
Nature: Timid
~ Calm Mind
~ Hidden Power [Grass]
~ Psychic
~ Recover

Celebi's only starting because it's the only thing that can actually start on this Team(save for Meta, perhaps). Timid and 40 Speed outpseeds Adamant Heracross, and I'll usually have at least one CM by the time Hera switches in. Been thinking of sticking BP on this thing, but this works just fine for me.

Swampert (M) & Leftovers ** Boggart
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/48 Atk/44 SAtk/176 SDef
Nature: Brave
~ Curse
~ Earthquake
~ Hidden Power [Bug]
~ Ice Beam

Not sure about this. Swampert works for me, but I don't rely on it quite as much as my other Team Members. HP Bug for Celebi, obviously. Been thinking of Rock Slide > Ice Beam for this so I actually have a Rock move on my Team. Accomplishes pretty much the same thing as IB anyway(Mence), and it actually benefits from Curse.

Metagross & Leftovers ** 4 Legged Freak
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 12 HP/252 Atk/16 Def/92 Spd/136 SAtk
Nature: Naughty
~ Agility
~ Earthquake
~ Meteor Mash
~ Thunderpunch

Just switched to this, and I'm pleased with how it's doing. I realized that, since I lacked a proper Celebi counter and Metagross always destroyed my Celebi, I should give this guy a whirl. It also destroys SkarmBliss with T-Punch. BTW, T-Punch because HP Fire leaves me open to things like Gyarados and T-Punch does about the same thing to Skarm. Forretress never bothers me a lot anyway, and T-Punch will just beat it away eventually anyway. Or I can switch =/

Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 196 HP/80 Atk/210 Def/24 Spd
Nature: Impish
~ Hidden Power [Flying]
~ Rest
~ Spikes
~ Whirlwind

lol Skarm. It's kinda cool. Sorta tough to kill, but it really lacks the ability to actually do something when it's out. I've thought of switching back to Forry for SpikeSpin, but I dunno. Skarm is better for CB EQ switch-ins =/

Blissey (F) & Leftovers ** Scrambled Eggz
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 212 HP/252 Def/44 SDef
Nature: Bold
~ Aromatherapy
~ Ice Beam
~ Seismic Toss
~ Softboiled

lol Bliss. Considering sticking Thunder Wave somewhere on this, because it destroys teams, but there's really not a place to put it, especially as this is so effective as is. No Seismic Toss is gg any Water Type at all, and no Ice Beam is gg Dugtrio(stupidest Pokémon ever, but people use it anyway)/Gengar.

Milotic (F) & Leftovers ** Gyarados+
Ability: Marvel Scale
EVs: 212 HP/24 Def/40 Spd/56 SAtk/176 SDef
Nature: Calm
~ Hidden Power [Electric]
~ Ice Beam
~ Recover
~ Surf

Not all that essential, but surprises Gyarados to death as it gets HP Electric'd. Also absorbs Burns pretty well, and can screw over random Pokémon.

Suggestions, criticism, rates, w/e. Any feedback at all is welcome here.

Criticism: Not too defensive for a defense team IMO. Swampert does not have rest, and you should probably stick Leech Seed over something on Celebi, to help heal up your team. I guess Hypnosis > HP Electric on Milotic, although it still packs a nice surprise, but that's just my opinion.

For Metagross, I like Explosion > Agility. I just like blowing up stuff.

Blissey, Skarmory, and Milotic are Walls. Metagross and Swampert have good Defensive Stats, and Base 100 Defenses is rather Wall-like, especially once Celebi starts setting up.

Swampert does not have rest

Swampert is pretty much kill or get killed for me =/ Rest doesn't help it much, and I can OHKO the frequent Celebi switch-ins. However, the entire reason I use Metagross is to own Celebi, so I guess HP Bug isn't that essential anymore.

There's not really any point to that, as everything except Metagross and Swampert has some sort of instant-healing move. Besides, Leech Seed just begs for switches. Recover gives Celebi more health. Together, Leech Seed and Recover would be nice, but I don't have room on mine for both.

I guess Hypnosis > HP Electric on Milotic, although it still packs a nice surprise, but that's just my opinion.

I don't like the Sleep Clause much, it limits the usefulness of Hypnosis.

For Metagross, I like Explosion > Agility. I just like blowing up stuff.

Meh, this Meta is more meant for staying around and screwing potential threats over. Agility on the switch-in to w/e and own it.

No one really uses Gyara anway with Zapdos on almost every team

Still pops up every now and then, though. Now I think of it, though, I suppose Milo doesn't really need HP Elec with Thunderpunch Meta =/

To be more exact, 99%. Medicham still hurts both pretty badly. (Skarm does not like taking CB Focus Punches, and is 3HKO'ed by Brick Break, while Claydol promptly gets Shadow Balled)

For some reason, this is working a lot better for me now. Considering Reflect for it somewhere just for the usefulness of it.

Changed back to Cune, and it owns. Could put Roar>Rest for PHaze, but Skarm already does that.

If I were you I'd leech seed>HP grass for celebi ;/

What are you using HP:Grass on celebi for? Psychic OHKOs Duggy after a CM. There isn't a whole lot resistant to Psychic but weak to HP:grass. TTar, I guess, but I would prefer a different HP type. Fire can be cool.

You're using a stall team and you even thought for a second to replace Rest on Suicune? That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Roar>IB or CM on Suicune NOT REST.
