Defense team!

I am making a team based on defense as I am in a double battle with 3 of my mates.

lvl 100 Steelix
Adamant@Leftovers
Trait:Rock Head
Iron Tail
Double Edge
EQ
Protect
I picked this because it has amazing plus it can take down other pokemon because you dont want a 2v2 team that doesn't have an attacker.

lvl 100 Shuckle
Bold@Focus band
Trait:Sturdy
Dig
Rest
Attract
Encore
This moveset is perfect for a annoyer/tank for a team.Because of the attact,encore and rest method you can outwit almost any pokemon.

lvl 100 Weezing
Lax@Focus band
Trait:Levitate
Explosion
Sludge bomb
Protect
Thief

All these are paired up with my mates pokemon which I don't have an idea of what it could be.Any suggestions on making this Defense team better?

replace shuckle with blissey unless you like starmie beating you effortlessly

if you're going to have Blissey on there, you should also have Skarmory replace Steelix (sure, it has the highest defense, but what good is it when the rest of your stats blow chunks?)

Playing defensively in 2 vs 2 does not work.

I am playing a 4 player link battle so one person will be on my side,and I have just found out the pokemon paired with my pokemon that my mate has: Lvl 100 Typhlosion

This team is paired like this:

Attack Defense
Typhlosion> <Steelix
Venusaur> <Weezing
Walrein> <Blissey

Note:This team is mainly Attack so it will be a Defense and attack team.

why did you take out weezing for blissey, when it should have been shuckle that went

shuckle has a hard enough time doing ANYTHING in 1v1 let alone 2v2

Oh damn my bad,I actually meant that blissey would over shuckle not weezing.
