Oalright, i needed to ask this, since my FR is my best game in my opinion. i once heard my friend that after a year, the game will reset and u gotta start over. I'm freaked cause my yellow did that once.

In older copies of Ruby and Sapphire, the internal battery would eventually die, thus preventing the time fron changing and time-based events from happening. I think the glitch got fixed in newer copies and emerald, but there have been reports of it happening even in new games.

And yeah, your game will NOT delete itself when it turns a year old. My leaf Green and Fire Red are over a year old and have never gotten deleted by themselves. Second generation games would delete themselves, but only when their internal batteries died, not neccessairily when they were a year old. (Not too sure about RBY, your yellow could've deleted because it got corrupted somehow, same thing happened to mine once.)

Munchlax3000's friend may not be lying, though he most likely is.
It is possible that he could've false information on this somewhere, or someone could've lied to him, and he passed the info. on to Munchlax3000.

dude DS Games use the DS internal clock not a clock in them!

I'd be devistated, cause i have Ho-oh and lugia, from a promotion, they ain't havin another 1. Well my Yellow erased caused i used mew litch, but I was going to trade it o my Crystal so my Yelow can be of use, but it don work.

have you got emerald if so put it on there and clone it then put it back on there that way even if one does die the other should still have one,right?
