Can someone give me a quick summary of the strategy behind a delta dragonite deck?

I've never heard of a pure DS Dragonite deck, but I have heard of decks that use it.

For instance, there is Zappy ex and DS Dragonite. When ever Zappy discards to attack DS draggy can get it back.

There's also DS Metagross and DS Dragonite. Or even DS Meta/nite and Amphy. Meta/Nite, use nite to get back any lightning energy discarded from crash and burn.

Nite/Meta + Amphy, same strat as meta/nite only once you get the energy back you can then move them back up to Meta for another crash and burn.
