That's actually an interesting premise...the only way I could see it being done is if it was a Colosseum-type game, where you had to "rescue" the Delta Pokemon from the evil group of scientists who made them and restore them to their normal types. I think it'd be too complex to just throw into a regular game, the entire game would have to be centered around the Delta Pokemon.

That would be cool but it would be like Colosseum...just without the shadow pokemon and maybe cipher. And after you save the pokemon they would probably go back to their normal types. But having a part electric metagross would be cool

It's a concept that's introduced in the card game. Basically, it's just a Pokémon with a type that it normally doesn't have. Like an Electric Rayquaza.

It's very unlikely. Other TCG concepts (Light and Dark evolutions, for example) were not implemented into the games. However, abilities seem like more advanced versions of Poke-Powers/Poke-Bodies, so it could happen.

Off the top of my head, there's Destiny Bond (Base Set Ghastly) and Shadow Pokemon (called Dark in the Japanese Colosseum, if I remember correctly) from the Rocket set.

The TCG introduces concepts to the games every now and then, but the only way we'll see Delta Pokemon is if they're rare like shinies.
It COULD happen, though.

I can see that being a cool idea, though it would have to be limited to a Colosseum-type game. The reason simply being Dark/Ghost or Normal or Electric Shedinja.

well maybe through lots and lots of breeding the pokemon could gain a type off the father.
i really want 3 typed pokemon. 2 typed moves sound pretty cool to.
i mean u could breed with a dragonite and a charizard to get a fire/flying/dragon pokemon.
