So here's my initial overall thoughts on the 'new' meta. At least as far as PvP goes.
Hand Cannons:
Awful weapons now. They may have 'buffed' ADS accuracy, but I feel it's actually worse. Only notable Hand Cannons in the Meta are Hawkmoon and The First Curse. The Last Word is only good for up close, which rarely happens now.
Auto Rifles:
Good weapons. Finally do what they were intended to do, be lethal at mid-close range. Notable Auto Rifles are: Hard Light, SUROS, and Monte Carlo. However, Hard Light and Monte Carlo are seeing little use compared to SUROS.
Scout Rifle:
Deadly weapons from Mid-Long range. However get up close and it's harder to hit your target. Notable Scout Rifle are: MIDA Multi-Tool and Hung Jury.
Pulse Rifles:
Still on top of all the others. They still 3 burst and potentially 2 burst. All Pulse Rifles are still extremely viable and with the adjustments to other weapons, probably make them feel stronger than before.
Sidearms:
They still are oddball weapons that aren't very viable. Ironwreath may be the only decent Sidearm.
Fusion Rifles:
They are still garbage. They buffed them slightly, and nerfed them as well, which left them feeling the same as before, even slightly worse. Plan C is the only one that'll get you anywhere.
Shotgun:
Finally we have no need to worry about these guys anymore. They may still be viable, however, they are less lethal than before and act as up close and personal tools. The Chaperone is the only one you must worry about though.
Snipers:
Top of the Special meta. Nearly all of the year 2 snipers have insane Target Acquisition and can be used up close as well. Lucky Round may have been removed, but these weapons are getting less and less skill involved each patch.
So how do you guys feel about the new Pulse Rifles/Snipers meta?
I hate it.
The new tier list shouldn't take long to update. Only thing that has changed is really hand cannons and shotguns, what will take the longest for me is the armor pieces since we got new ones (Tarantella and Twilight Garrison).
