If you approach the evo line as you would chess, than the Bishop can't be the final (top) evolution. It may not happen this generation or gen 7, but some point down the line, this evo family will get an addition via a stage 2 evo and/or a branching evo.

I hope we get a counterpart for Ninfia but I don't think it will be this time. I think it'll most likely be next month. But I bet we get Ninfia's english name. What if they surprise us with 3 eeveelutions this generation?

I know I have said it before, but I would love a split evo for Bisharp. Obviously the way it would work is to have the Queen specialising in Attack and Sp. Attack, with the King Dominant in Defence and Sp. Defence. And that these would be part of a Dark type Gym Leaders team along with an Absol evo and A Dark/Electric Wolf type.
However, I think that they could expand further on the evolution line of Pawniard and Bisharp. Make it so that Pawniard can evolve into Bisharp (at Level 52), A Knight pokemon (Level 52 + item), and a Rook Pokemon (Level 52 + item), and then all Male Bisharp, Knight, and Rook Pokemon can optionally evolve into the King (Trade with item or Level 60 with item, whichever works best) and all Female Bisharp, Knight, and Rook Pokemon can optionally evolve into the Queen (Trade with item or Level 60 with item, whichever works best). The difference being that each of the second stage in the evolution line would focus on a specific stat. e.g. Bisharp = Attack or Defence , Rook = HP or Speed, Knight = Sp. Attack or Sp. Defence. So that each king and queen would be different according to the evolutionary path that they had taken.
Would those evolutionary methods be okay?

You see i don't think they'll get one, it would be interesting, but the thing is the whole chess theme is just the english names, i'm fairly certain they were based off of kamen rider/ultraman etc.
And its probably one of the most relistic social structures pokemon has ever attempted to flesh out

Personally I liked that idea or something very similar. However, it seems a bit complicated compared to other 'traditional' methods of evolution. Save maybe the hitmon- clan coming close I suppose.

I doubt it, but I guess we don't know for sure. I think if they make more than one it would only be two, but who knows.
And yes, Ninfia does need a pair. It doesn't seem right without a partner.

They won't do the rest at once. It give a bunch of pokefans something to look forward to every other generation. The max I can see them doing this time is three to suprise us. More than likely we will only get one or two. Only getting one would also, sadly, shock us.

If they do 2 every other generation it will be generation 14 or so (assuming we get two this generation) before we have one eeveelution for each [current] type.
