Astonish, Gyro Ball and Ice Ball clearly show physical movement from the attacker's perspective, therefore there's no question that the moves themselves are physical (Sacred Fire is ambiguous for obvious reasons). That's not what I said at all. If you look at Double-Edge closely...Pikachu never moves from its position to the extent that you and Yveltal are arguing that Sylveon does, all it does, is tackle the opponent.

How can you even say that...? Look at the four pictures closely please...there's no indication that Sylveon travels with the energy nor strikes Hariyama.

You've got a point there, there's no orb of energy in those Double-Edge animations. The indication that Sylveon travels with the energy isn't when the attack hits, but rather when the orb leaves Sylveon position.
In the end, I believe that it's much more probable that they changed Double-Edge charging and moving animation for the sake of move variation with these new graphics. It's so much alike with the 5th Gen animation and it's a move that Eevee already has.

I didn't think I'd be able to get this image either, but look.

It's shrinking into the energy, not firing it.

Following on from that image, you also see that Sylveon is not still in its battle circle when the attack is released, yet when using trump card and swift, Sylveon can still be clearly seen in its battle circle.

I feel like miltank and tauros are too different in shape and color to have a common prevolution. I'd rather see miltank with a more masculine evolution as I think it looks a bit too benign.
And I feel like a prevolution of kenghaskan would be out of line as well. There's already been a christmas special featuring a baby kenghaskan. Somehow instantly changing the species of a visible already existing pokemon seems stupid.

well miltank is a female exclusive pokemon and tauros is exclusively male
and there is lots of evidence that they are counterparts
for one a cow is just a female bull

But actually, if you look at Double-Edge closely, you see that it does move from it's position, at about 6:17 for a fraction of a second. If you don't want to look for it in the video, I have a picture here. Pikachu's ear is at the bottom left, when it would normally not appear at all. It's better to see in the video, but it unfortunately doesn't last for that long.

I didn't think I'd be able to get this image either, but look.

As for Double-Edge, the user stays in their area while circling around, even when tackling the opponent, they never disappear anyway so there's no need for a return animation. I remember seeing certain sprites staying on their zone whenever I'm using Double-Edge. From a defender/player's perspective, Audinos don't disappear into the energy when hitting with Double-Edge. As for Sylveon, well no wonder there's some confusion about Special vs. Physical. I'd have to wonder why GameFreak didn't at least add some indication in the energy itself to show the Pokemon making contact with the Hariyama.

in case you have played red and blue, you should know that this isn't true
and once again no physical move shows the pokemon in the blast

and once again u-turn shows it because they are returning back to thee pokeball
your argument is innvalid

Not if you look at the attack itself. The same way that Fusion Bolt shows Zekrom travelling with the Energy towards the opponent. Just because you don't like the example doesn't make it any less valid.

if anything you just proved me more correct with that statement...
and it isn't that i don't like the example it is just an invalid argument the return animation that you think must be included in every single physical attack, is in u-turn because the pokemon is returning to the pokeball

They never do... U-turn is an exception because of its effect.

And relax Yveltal96, you're becoming intolerant.

All you're doing is disregarding the fact that U-Turn had an indicator that showed the Pokemon is moving within the energy and hitting the opponent, in favour of your own belief that it's only because U-Turn returns the Pokemon to the Pokeball (which couldn't be any more wrong, thus my inclusion of Fusion Bolt example). Putting words in my statement...I never even came as close as to imply that it has to be in all physical attacks, I said that it would've been an indicator towards proving that the attack is physical (along with other criteria that I've stated earlier). If not for Skippio's clarification and convincing evidence which you didn't even provide, people would still assume that the attack is special.

I'm gonna stop there, it's pointless to continue this discussion any further.

First of all, I should state that I don't mind discussing, but both of you are very hot-headed lol

Saber-tooth tiger could be a very good guess actually, it's different yet very possible. I don't have many ideas for fossils, I can only think of giant bugs, fishes and dinosaurs...

Between that and the saber-tooth tiger, I believe they would stick with the tiger as the first mammal fossil. Unless they want to make 2 mammal fossils like they did 2 dinosaur fossils on the 4th gen, then it's also a good idea.

well yeah i meant them to be a duo
i like the idea of a giant sloth a lot
i think it could give slakoth a run for its money

That would be a boner softener. Like, anti-Viagra. Why would they create a normal Eeveelution? That's so boring.

Plus, they're keeping the typing a secret. Are we all supposed to get excited when they reveal that this thing is a *drum roll* ...Normal type? Point being, if it was normal, they would have just said it was normal instead of hiding it.

Eeveelutions are full embodiments of their types. You can TELL Flareon is fire. You can TELL Espeon is Psychic. You can TELL Glaceon is ice, Vaporeon is water, Leafeon is grass. That's the point of Eeveelutions; they have nothing defining them other than they're types. But when we all see this new Eeveelution, we have no idea what we're looking at. It looks as though it may have a little flying influence, but it doesn't fully embody flying like the other Eeveelutions embody their types. There is no strong indication by its artwork that screams "I CAN &%$#ING FLY." And Game Freak knows we can't tell what it is, or else they would have listed its type as "Flying" instead of "???". They're keeping a secret.

But why? Why would they show us an Eeveelution, but keep ambiguous the feature that DEFINES it? Why would they make an Eeveelution that does not seem to fully embody any of the types we know and love?

My guess is that its because its NOT a type we know. It's a new type. That's why we can't recognize its typing by looking at it. That's why they're keeping its typing a secret. Because the unveiling of this new type is an unveiling for another day.

So what could this type be? Well, I hate to revisit what has been falsely speculated in generations past, but this seems to be a Light type. Or in Japan, "Pure" or something along those lines, since the Dark type translates to "Evil" type in Japan. This Eeveelution fully embodies "Pure" in that it looks friendly and welcoming; its bows give it a feminine, almost childish feel of innocence. Its colors are limited to mild, calm colors rather than brighter, more violent colors, which extend to a spectrum at the tips of the ribbons flowing from its bows. The spectrum may be a nod toward the concept of light.

If this is true, and a light type is brought to existence, then it is likely that Xerneas is a Light type as well, as an opposition to Yveltal's likely Dark type. Light and Dark; Good and Evil. Note that "Evil" is already hinted at in Yveltal's name, so this is likely a theme. And of course, Xerneas looks very heroic and bodes well the appearence of "Good", and also embodies light (look at its antlers).

If a light type is created, its likely that some Pokémon from past generations will adopt the type as well. I'm looking at you, Chansey.

You bring up this particular scenario because YOU want this to happen. My Normal-type theory might be incorrect, but it's got more weight than your theory. In fact, I'm even thinking of saying that Nympheon will be a pure Flying-type (one of its moves being Aeroblast, as we can probably assume from the battle vids of Nympheon, unless that's Hyper Beam, but that could really look like Hyper Beam...)

I dont know about you guys but I think the new eevee eeveelution is a normal type. I dont have concrete proof or a valid arguement why I think so I'm just going by its appearance. Reminds me of other normal types like Skitty, clefairy, jigglypuff, snubbull,...PINKKKK
