So looks like the Fiary Type is confirmed. I actually wanted Light or Cosmic more but w/e.

The Type Change for Marill really surprised me. They didn't even announce Clefairy's type change yet. It's like... wut? Gardevoir and Jigglypuff are okay I guess. I hope it's not weak to bug becuse Gardevoir would have a x4 bug weakness. I think Fairy type will be weak to dark though. So Gardevoir's probably ending up with a x4 one way or another IMO.

I thought Talonflame was a Japanese name, then I realised it was English and I went, wut? Pretty every name except maybe Ditto and Mr. Mime is more creative than Talon + Flame. Looks like it's fire or maybe normal/flying again. Either way, it looks like it'll be SR weak. Sklrep looks a bit... weird but okay. I'm definitely getting the kawaii Clauncher though. Noivern looks pretty screwed up at first glance because of the eye-ear thing, looks better when you separated the eye with the ear, but the ears are pretty messed up. Vivillon looks cool. Inb4 Quiver Dance.

I'm gonna hope for horde of Chinchous XD

One thing I would like to see is a Jynx evo. Tbh, I don't see the problem with her, she is based off a Nordic princess or the norse goddess of the underworld, which explains her ice typing. I would like to see her evolve into either a gipsy, an ice queen, or even an ice viking

wow we have been spoiled this month with so much info.

first of all my beloved swellow has now a competitor for a spot of my fav pokemon. Talonflame looks absolutly AMAZING. and its fire too unlike rest of regional birds. it looks a little bit like that pheonix from 2nd harry potter film. i hope it is special attack focused because we didnt have a s.att focused regional bird since Noctowl. and i think this is 3rd stage of fletchling and theres something in between them-it seems like too big of a jump from tiny little robin into mighty phoenix...

seahorse is ugly don't really like its design. it looks like rotten horsea
Crab thing is nice very appealing colour scheme hopefully it will elvolve in something badass

and overall i find it really weird that unlike every single generation before, the starters are so horrid compare to the rest of the bunch revealed so far IMO pretty much every pokemon revealed so far has better design than the starters.

If the rumors on pokebeach are true It's weak to Poison and Steel, immune to Dragon, super effective against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting, and Fire and Psychic-type Pokemon take half damage from it.

Fairy Takes 2x Damage from Steel and Poison. Immune to dragon, Fairy does 2x damage Dragon, Dark, and fighting. Fire and psychic take only half damage from Fairy Type.

Clefairy isn't called Clefairy in japanese, according to rumours Fairy is strong against Dark not weak.

I guess but thats not what I meant anyway, they have us 4 examples, they didn't need to give us Clefairy even though it migth be the most obvious one sure, they didn't put all the Fairy pokemon there.

If you told me there was going to be a new type a few months ago, I would have been so mad. However, I have slowly eased into it and accept it wholeheartedly. I like the idea of a new type now and it makes it feel like I'm going to be playing Pokemon for the first time. I'm glad the new type introduced is a Fairy-type and not a Light-type. I really never liked the idea of a Light-type.

As for the Fairy-type advantages and disadvantages, I think it's going to look a little like this:
Advantages: Dragon, Ghost, and maybe Dark
Disadvantage: Ghost, Poison, and maybe Rock
Resistance: I actually don't know

Those are just thoughts, but anything is possible.

Talonflame is AWESOMEE! Didn't expected more pokemon, what a surprise! Clauncher is the first 6th gen poke i don't really like. And beside that i'm very curious in what kind of beach skrelp can turn to. But we can assume that fletchling is 2 staged right?

My reaction to all the new pokemon
I love them all!, gen6 hasn't brought one pokemon I don't like
Talonflame: wow, a fire typed regional bird, looks really cool
Vivillon: I'm loving its blocky pixle kind of design, its unique
Noivern: badass beast, amazing design and movement
Clauncher: I'm loving its coloring! Very interested in what it will evolve into
Skrelp: so cute, and I can see its evolution been a leafy dragon based design, love this one

I can be wrong but I think it's weak to Ghost/Dark/Bug. Of course, the fairy rumors were proven to be true. But w/e. I can't really see Fairy having no relations to Ghost/Dark/Bug or Psychic.

Well, I might as well give my review on the pokes.

Talonflame: Agreeably a bit lazy on the name.. But anyways, it's a favorite of mine so far, and I'll definitely be using it on my team (if my starter choice isn't Fenniken) . Great design and detail overall. Just awesome.

Vivillon: Pretty neat design on the wings. I wasn't surprised at the typing, although I did think it was fairy judging by the color.

Noivern: I'm gonna have to be honest with this one.. When I first saw it, the ears threw me off for obvious reasons, and it looked pretty odd until I noticed the eyes. It still is kind of odd IMO. Everytime I look at it I always notice the ears before anything else. A possibility of being on my team. Depends on if Fenniken is my starter choice. And stats of course. New Psuedo Legend?

Clauncher: I really like the colors on this guy. Not really sure if I'll be using him yet since I don't have my starter picked yet... But a pretty cool little guy, and hoping his evolution will be pretty neat.

Skrelp: The name is kinda... well, crappy. But he seems like he would do pretty well on a team if he has a reasonable evolution. But the design just doesn't do it for me...

It's been mentioned (i assume it's the same as the "fire lion cub" that others have mentioned. I only really see pokebeach mentioning it, and maybe one twitter account that went to the roundtable. But I assume we're not going to see any pictures of him tonight.

Something that would make me like Fairy type a lot more, is if it not only was Super-Effective on Dragons, but immune to them as well. Because as it stands, only a Steel type can stand up to boosted Dragon Types in battle, it'd make for some interesting teams in the metagame.
