I kind of agrre, but Froakie should have Sceptiles Speed, while Fennekin should have Blazikens.

I think Fennekin should have 95-100 speed, with Froakie having anything between 100-120.

Well, in my opinion, everything about Fennkin shouts, "FAST AND DEFENSIVE!", so I think it would be as fast as Sceptile, if not more and utilize many support Moves. Alternatively, it could be a Lightning Bruiser like Infernape.

I think Froakie would not be that fast... unless it is like the Poison Dart Frog or something. Beware, then. We have a mighty revenge killer in our arsenal.

Personally i wouldn't mind if both would be Fast as long as Fennekin focuses on Special Attack and Froakie focuses on Attack

I dunno I think Froakie will be the Bulky one out of the 3 of them and then Chespin will be the low/average speed Physical Attacker and Fennekin the speedy Special Attacker

If I were to put the starters to other starters, stats wise I think it would go:
Sceptile - Froakie
Torterra/meganium - Chespin
Thyplosion - Fennekin

Froakie and Chespin should be physically bulky.
Fennekin and Froakie should be bulky.
Fennekin should be Specially defensive.
Chespin and Froakie should by physically offensive.
Froakie and Fennekin should be mixed attackers.

Anything else?

Froakie– Infernape (+Spd -Def)
Fennekin– Empoleon (prob +SpA -Atk)
Chespin– ? (Definitely not like Torterra!)

just based off of the names and the designs of the first stage, here's what i predict they'll be like:

Chespin: Feraligatr; high atk and def with moderate SpDef and HP and an acceptable speed with access to moves such as Agility and Swords Dance. Will most likely be a top-of-the-line UU poke or a bottom-of-the-barrel OU poke. (DD Gatr is the shizzle, I hope Chespin winds up being just as badass) DW will most likely be Shell Armor.

Fenneken: Infernape; good offensive stats, subpar defensive stats and a movepool full of moves that allow it to fill several different positions on a team if you really want to have it. Will most likely be OU. DW Will most likely be Flash Fire.

Froakie: Samurott; (will most likely have a higher speed) decent bulk and high atk stats. Move pool will be open ended to allow a choice of what sort of attacker you want on your team. Same competetive potential as Chespin. DW will probably be either Speed Boost or Justified.

Yeah I think they will both be fast
But froakie will be faster than fennekin

I could see that. I vote torterra for chespin.

I'm glad he does learn aerial ace-if he's dark, and least he'll have something to protect against bug. And I don't think its a sign he'll be a knight-aggron learns it-he doesn't have a weapon.

Maybe the pokemon will be shown next month.

Yes they can, but Fennekin can also be slow.
Not because a fennec fox is fast that Fennekin's going to be fast. I want Fennekin to be in Blaziken's range.

As I always say, we shouldn't use the reality to compare Pokémon. It can totaly surprise us at the end. I don't consider Blaziken as slow, that's why I want Fennekin to be in that range of speed.
