The pixie trio, Cresselia, Manaphy and possibly Celebi are the only legendaries i see as possibly being re-type

If Fairy type is based on the stereotypical fairy then all of the above count i would say, however if it's based off the term Fae, alot more pokemon could fall into
the category of fairy
Those retypes all make sense minus Cresselia (it represents pleasant dreams, which are in the mind, which is Psychic)

I see people saying it works as a fairygodmother (BIG STRETCH MAY I ADD) and it protects people from the boogeyman that is Darkrai. I don't see Cresselia as fairy but i think it could be re-typed

I personally think jirachi and victini diffenitely fairy but who know?
Inkay and malamar aren't water type even though they are squid.
and electric eel line and stunkfish from gen 5 are not water type too.
but, their types didn't annoy me as fairy did, it 's becuase they are not legendaries.

Anyway, i would love see fairy legendaries being proper fairy.

So really, my last post is as redundant as this one and this is the Ronseal of threads? (People are speculating...)

I think that they'll take it easy with the retypes, and that there won't be as many as people are making it seem. There are always future Gens for more fairies

I wouldn't count on the middle stage in Talonflame's evolutionary line to be a Vigoroth equivalent in terms of uniqueness compared to the other two in its line.

Needless to say, I'm really eager to use Talonflame.

When did I say anything to do with Talonflame?? I was talking about a completely new line. My point still stands though, GF to take care with which pokemon get promoted and when. It isn't random and while it may not make sense to us at the time, It makes perfect sense to GF.

Pretty much, only people who know are GF

Easily the most wise comment I've read today.

This would be ideal. Some people have been saying we may get as many as 30 retypes and while that's not a very large number, it'd be fantastic if we get as few retypes as possible.

Battle Casino Brain
Flying-Types that Learn Skill Swap;

Natu/Xatu

Sigilyph

Butterfree

Lugia

Drifloon/Drifblim

Woobat/Swoobat

(Pokemon with Levitate using this would, if Pokemon without Levitate or Flying-Type are out or something-be useless/suicide using this move)

Flying-Types/Levitators that Learn Gastro Acid;

Carnivine

Tynamo/Eelektrik/Eelektross (Electric-Type for Flying-Types? Gastro Acid for levitators? Aqua Tail for Ground/Flying-Types? OU XD)

Flying-Types and Levitators that Learn Soak

Pelipper

The fun thing is, the first two get rid of Levitators, while Soak gets rid of Flying-Types.

Levitate and Flying-Type? Fan Rotom is the king of Sky Battles!

Anyway, who wants a Shuckle Pre-Evo?

Teach Aerodactyl Smack Down if loosing your Levitate/flying type knocks you out. lolololol I abused Gigalith SD + Excadrill EQ a lot in-game. it was pretty useful against flying types that had high SpAtk

I hope not ally the retypes are Fairy or Fairy/Normal..

Could it be that instead of having a Normal/Flying native bird to the Kalos region that instead GF will do a trio of birds like the monkey trio of Gen5.
Fletchling and it's evolution line that includes Talonflame is the Fire/Flying, and the possibility of there being a Water/Flying and Grass/Flying evolution line.
I don't think GF would make a Fire/Flying as the native bird alone, or maybe the native bird of the Kalos region has yet to be revealed.

I agree. I think that Fairy won't have that many Pokemon with its typing. I think Fairy will be a relatively rare typing. They'll be more abundant than Dragon types most likely but they won't be as common as say Flying, Bug or Water types.

Right now I'm mainly curious about Orotto (or however you say its name) and Litleo. I want to know Orotto's typing and if it is part of an evolutionary line. I feel that Litleo will evolve but I want to know if they are going to stay with the lion concept or make it a manticore like so many people are speculating and hoping for.

When there is a national dex for this gen i expect there to be about 30-35 pokemon with the fairy typing but this is just my opinion

I hope litleo does evolve into a manticore, knowing the style of the art for pokemon, it might not look as badas* but I'm sure they can pull it off. No offense to litleo, but it looks kinda ugly with that weird mouth, but I have high hopes for it XD Orotto, it kinda looks like something from the Lord of the Rings if they didn't have human-like legs.

id be interested to see if its going to have any gender differences such as a mane on the males and if it is a manticore a bigger stinger then the female

I'd rather Litleo not evolve into a Manticore. But if it does, I'll still probably use it.
