Description: Ben stands at a mere 5'10, with an average body, not too skinny, or overweight. His hair is reddish brown and hangs shaggily over his shoulders. His eyes are dark brown and match his slightly olive complexion. Ben usually sports tye-dye shirts, or striped long sleeved shirts usually in a grean shade, to reflect his favourite color and pokemon type. He also sports faded blue jeans which are always accompanied by his old worn pair of green high-tops. He wraps his pokeball belt around his arms beneath his t-shirt, he doesn't know why; he just thinks it looks better.
Personality:Ben is a laidback kind of guy, always has and always will be. That's even his strategy in battle. He always goes about things in a slow manner, taking the time to stop and smell the roses. Ben also pays great attention to detail, and that's partially why he's a good battler. He's also very warm and protective over those he loves, like his bulbasaur and his mother. Although Ben is hard to befriend, it's only because of his shy demeanor.
History: Ben was a very depressed child, due to his parents divorce and the death of his brother. However, when he had moved to Celadon city with his mother he was introduced to the gym leader Erika. Erika helped Ben see the beauty in grass pokemon, and their many spores and their effects. Ever since that day, Ben had studied furiously, and battled with his first companion Bulbasaur, (which was given to him by Erika herself) to become the ultimate master of grass types. He hopes that in defeating team rocket, he can better himself as grass pokemon trainer.

Moves: leech seed, sleep/stun/poison spore, solarbeam, vinewhip.
History: Toke was Ben's first pokemon and he was given to him by Erika the Celadon City gym leader and he's been with ben for 6 years. Although Toke at an extremely high level, it refuses to evolve, because, it believes that if it gets bigger it wont be able to climb on Bens shoulder anymore. Toke is a very brave bulbasaur too standing up to any challenges to protect Ben his trainer. Toke also gets along very well with other pokemon, except when other pokemon get to close to ben and he become just a little bit jealous.

Nickname: Sha-man
Moves: leech seed, raindance, surf, doubleteam.
History: Sha-man is one funny pokemon. He's always joking around and can't keep a straight face, he also like to do a little dance every now and then. He's been so ever since he was a little lotad when Ben captured him. Sha-man was the first pokemon that Ben ever caught, and so it’s a very special pokemon, and both Sha-man and Ben know that. In battle Sha-man is always so relaxed and the he never takes the opponent seriously and jokes around with them! Luckily, no one has been able to take him down, but his attitude is bound to get him in trouble.

Gender: female
Nickname: PP
Moves: leaf blade, grasswhistle, gigadrain, treasure.
History: Ben found Lefia knocked out next to the bike trail next to Celadon city one day. The bikers, who specialize in poison type pokemon, had taken advantage of this poor grass pokemon and had abandoned her there. Ben rushed Leafia home and nursed her back to health. He put up signs for Leafia, but when no one came to claim her, he took her in as his own and they've been getting along famously ever since then. PP and Toke sometimes fight, but that’s because Bulbasaur is only jealous of Leafia because she's a very rare sight and often trainer stop Ben complementing him on her.

Moves: psychic, sunny-day, morning sun, hidden-power fire.
History: Neuron came to Ben in a very odd way. Actually, he didn't come to Ben at all. Nueron is a very tricky little Espeon who had been attracted to Ben's house because of certain aromas that Ben's Lefia had been giving off. He was in love with Lefia at first sight, and he would stay outside Bens house pleading to come in, and when Ben wouldn't let him in, he used his psychic powers to mess up the house from the outside. Finally tired of this lovesick pokemon, Ben let Espeon into his house and let him "be" with leafia. Espeon was so grateful that he insisted to help Ben in his battles. Although Ben was not confident with using types other than grass pokemon. Espeon had established a psychic link between them, due to its telepathic powers, and its high level and has been assisting Ben in difficult battles ever since.
